Hello, Internet and welcome to Creativelive. We are here in our beautiful studios in San Francisco, and we are about to embark upon a two day journey with Tamara Lackey. We are going to be talking about relationships now. This is a big topic for really anybody and everybody out there in the world. We are all in relationships, whatever type, whether that's business personal, whether that is a marriage or partnership. Kids, parents were all in relationships, and this is gonna be a very exciting classes. So my name is Ken Klosterman. I'm going to be your host today, along with Selena Larson and everybody, please welcome Selena. This is our very first time hosting on creative. I've and we're so excited to have you got yourself for everybody out there. Yeah, high. So I'm Selena. I am a writer by trade based here in San Francisco. So this is a pre show we're going to do about eight minutes of pre show, taking an opportunity to make sure that everything works here audio and are sound our visuals. One kind of excited to see, not sure what to expect. But I'm sure we're gonna all be there tissue sitting around, so I'm not sure. Um, uh, family and Children, among other things. And, you know, obviously from a photography standpoint, relationships are key. And so as I get more involved in the business, you know, kind of learning about how toe strengthen those relationships between Sarah and clients. but also on a more personal level, you know, just kind of our own relationships and kind of building on this. Well, we're really excited to have both of you here, and that's gonna be really powerful for a lot of people who are joining us online. And we thank you in advance for being willing. All of you really to interact and share, because this is gonna be very participatory. So hi, I'm Judy Zarella. Gina Onda. I am an amateur photographer looking to get into family and portrait business. I was here for timely lackeys, child posing, of course. And I was the only one who had was not about to conform conservation ship course, and that everybody was joking. I have a dog figured out hot about it. I realized that interacting with people my relationship with people, not just my family, your spouse or any friends, right? I really need to know a lot about that. And I thought, This is something that I need to do A course. I need to I would have seen it anyways. Hollings. I said no. This is after attending the live work show, the child posing course. I said No, I need to be here on like so I joined here on you can find me on Twitter as Jay I t you underscore 6791 and on Facebook as your thesaurus. Virgina. Awesome. And I think that's really cool because we were talking yesterday. You have been a very long time creativelive community. Very long time creative. Leiber what? Three years over three years. And I might know me as cheap. Oh, yeah, because I keep asking questions way love, But tell us about a little bit. What's been different with being here in the live experience? Because I know that we have lots of opportunities for people to come. Join us here live. Tell us what's been different for you. I I When I started watching my first reader light, I did not even own a DSLR. I was very new to photography. It it was just a hobby. I mean, not even a passionate hobby. It was like I don't know, That's how I waas and I was watching. The first reader like that was in 2010. John Green goes one of my favorite yes, from my parents to, and somebody on my Facebook's Send a Mess says that I have been watching for two weeks. It's amazing, guys, June. So which you and then and I was blown away by the flights. I was like, Whoa, this is good and watch the following the following It was a 10 week course, and by the end of one week I was so amazed by the technical stuff. The way he explained everything, I was like, I need to get out of years largely to try this. And I actually sent out an email to create a life. I don't remember the tech person I contacted, but I just found a random email somewhere, and I contacted the person as it could you please. As John, which camera should by any actually gay. He came. I got a reply for that and send me a list stuff like within my budget. Which camera should buy. And that's how I started. I would look at this video's try out something, and then look at the next video and try something else. And that is how I learned it step by step since 2010. Well, we're happy to have you so happy to have you in person. All right, let's keep going. We just got a couple of minutes. My name is Rebecca Cosa from the Atlanta Georgia area are been in Cosa on Twitter and Facebook, and I'm actually working on starting a birth photography business, which is something I'm really excited about. And, um, first of all, I'm myself and then I work. I'm married to an incredible man named Jason. And we've been together over 11 years, I think. And I have three unbelievable, unbelievably awesome Children. And I'm just I'm really fortunate to be here and thankful for the opportunity to have a couple of days toe step out of my crazy life and work on my relationship with myself and all these amazing people in my life because we all deserve more from me. I know I personally consider myself with Children's and relationships photographers, so it's a big part of what I dio, um, so I'm just really excited to be here. But at the same time, I'd like to give a shout out to some of the most important relationships in my life. My three kids. That is a okay, let's or let's start with tears way We're thrilled to have you how it is going around, Um, and thank you. And what's really cool is that you're doing this not just for yourself, but for your Children. And so we are really happy toe, have you? Awesome. All right, Next I am just is on and by day and visual effects artists by night. And I'm a father of 1.5, a 10 month old, and went on the way gradually, November. And, um, this relationship course, um, is totally relevant to everything. I mean, when you have Children, new Children, you're have to relearn like marriage and a zealous just you know, with the photography side and working with other people in Children. So it's kind of how toe juggle that balance. That and first and foremost, I think, like everybody else said, um, finding time for myself in the middle of all that. Phil, I'm excited about that. Well, we're excited that you gave yourself time to be here. I know. I've been encouraging you on Facebook and such so very glad that you took that advice and that you're here.
