Diane Gilleland is a craft designer, writer, and teacher based in Portland, Oregon. She focuses primarily on quilting techniques and plastic canvas, but she's never met a craft she didn't love. She's the author of Kanzashi In Bloom, co-author of Quilting Happiness, and has a third book coming in 2015. Her work has appeared in numerous other craft books, magazines, and websites, and she's been teaching both live and online for eight years. One of her missions in life is to get people – especially those who think they aren't creative – making things.
