Leslie Kerrigan is a southerner, born and raised, who still lives in her home state of South Carolina. Like many, she started her career as a photographer after having her children. After photographing every genre, Leslie found her passion when she photographed her first senior client.
From there, Leslie poured her heart and soul into learning and growing her senior photography business and used her passion for seniors to create a blog called Seniorologie that is dedicated to inspiring and educating other senior portrait photographers.
Leslie has been featured in national publications such as The Wall Street Journal and Rangefinder Magazine and even had her image chosen as the cover of that magazine. She has written articles for magazines such as Chic Critique Magazine and Lemonade and Lenses. Leslie has not only taught at her own workshops, The Seniorologie Tour, but she has also been a speaker at WPPI and The Savvy Retreat. Leslie has also been featured on several blogs such as Chic Critique Forum, The Savvy Photographer, Beyond the Wanderlust and Get Schooled Photo.
When Leslie is not capturing seniors during one of the most exciting times of their lives, she can be found begging (unsuccessfully) her two boys to pose for her, in the drive through line at Starbucks after taking the kids to school, shopping online or reading a People magazine while simultaneously watching one or both of her boys play baseball or football. Saturdays in the fall are always spent watching the University of South Carolina Gamecock football games and summers are spent at the beach if at all possible. Leslie loves running, going to the movies (especially the previews) and watching reruns of Friends while folding clothes.
