Welcome everybody. I'm Jason Hoppy, and today we're going to show you pumpkin carving here at Creative Live. And we're gonna walk you through all the different steps of pumpkin carving, from tools to processes to templates to cool things that you can do and light your pumpkins. So, if you haven't watched this video before, we created one six years ago on pumpkin carving with power tools, and we started off, the very first class here at these Creative Live studios was the pumpkin carving class. And it has been very popular. So we decided that we want to expand on that and walk you through everything that this class is going to do. So if you've ever wanted to learn about pumpkin carving, learn about special tools and techniques, how to create really cool templates, how to apply them, how to do surface carving, how to carve correctly and safely, how to go ahead and decorate your pumpkins, what you need to do, where you can find resources, this is gonna be the class for you.

This video had some really good and cool ideas/techniques, however, you should do a zoom into the tools when you show them. I'd like to see close up the shape of each tool you demonstrated. Otherwise, it was fun!

I learned some great hacks and tricks. Going to carve my pumpkin this year with more enthusiasm! BTW something I thought might be helpful is to push pins to hold stencil designs on pumpkin since tape doesn't work.
