Bonus Video: How to Get Creative with the Olloclip
Hi, everybody. I'm Sally Cox For those of you who attended my IPhone Ah, graffiti live webinar this morning with creativelive, I have a supplemental video here. A little bonus video for you on how to get creative with Olo clip. A lot of people have been asking me what other accessories I use with my IPhone, and this is the one I use the most. It's very compact, and it's actually three lenses in one. It's important to take the cover off your IPhone before you start, so that it fits on properly. But this is basically what it looks like. There's a fish eye, there's a wide angle, and then when I pull this off, it's a macro lens, so it's very compact. It's got lens covers on it. It's under $100 it's really my number one accessory that I use when I use my IPhone. So one of the things I like to do is photograph my vintage jewelry collection, and so I use the Mac. Roland's a lot for that, and sometimes I use the wide angle lens when I'm out in public or the fish I to get a really special effec...
t so again, I all you do, you should just remove the covers. It's got a little opening here that I can put right over top of my camera, and this wider one is the fish I. The other one here is the white angle. And then if I remove the wide angle lens, the macro is underneath. So I love this one. It's super compact, and I can take it with me anywhere I go. So here are some examples of the jewelry that I photographed. This 1st 1 is a Rhinestone pin and you can see with the orange and yellow background. I've applied a lot of different app effects to it, but this one, I was able to get in really close with it using the Olo clip. The 2nd 1 is a Civil War pendant that I have had in my collection for a long time, and I photograph this when using the Olo clip. And then I used an app that we learned about this morning called Tangled FX. The next one is a pendant that I photographed again using the macro lens of the old clip and went in and applied a bunch of different effects to it. In this particular case, I used an app called Auto Painter. This is a pin that I photographed up close using the macro lens. I tried this using my IPhone without the lens, and I couldn't even get this kind of detail. So this is a really great example of how close you can get with the Ola clip, and then the next one is a scene in a park in San Francisco, and I use the fisheye lens. I just love that effect where gives that rounded, distorted look to it and then the last three. The 1st 1 is just a regular scene that I took when I was out and about in Seattle, just taking a picture of the church. The next one is standing in the same position where I used the wide angle lens, and then the last one is the fisheye, and you can see there's a lot more curvature to it, so you can see these three different photos standing in the same vantage point. I could get a dramatically different effect, the original one, and then using the wide angle lens where I can pull in a lot more from both sides and then using the distortion that I can get with a fish eye lens. So just from that one vantage point, I could get three distinctly different looks. So once again, this is Sally Cox.
