Sponsorships & B2B Apps
I really want to talk about sponsorships and beat obey, because this is this is a really cool new. This is probably like the hot, new, trendy thing. Everyone's talking right now. So I want to talk about this. So there's two parts of this response to ship you to be, and you'll see how these get intertwined. We'll talk about some examples, and I really want to this case that I don't think it ever showed anyone this, including any blue cloud people out there right now. So we're actually just going to be too we're not going to do beat us so bear with me on that this is all about external partnerships it's about going to people outside of the app store and getting money or users outside of the app store and then bring him into your lap you are bypassing the entire eso thing all the external marking everything we just talked about you are just you don't have to worry about that stuff you helped them monetize users you go to them and say hey look I can you give me a million users I can run th...
em through my apple make all make a lot of money we'll both make a lot of money similarly they can help you get out lot of users kim kardashian tweets about your app you're going you're gonna get a lot of new people downloading your out you can also go down to this small local level you don't have to say oh I don't know how I'm gonna get celebrity I'm going what how's that gonna happen think about your local you know local celebrities who's the local tv anchor you know who's local dentists I mean their dentist or cool right and then the large celebrities you would be surprised at how easy it is to close these deals. I've done a few a can't name names, but they are very legit and they're very open to these kind of deals right now because everyone wants a nap right? So the whole point of this this segment is to really get you to think there's a whole world out there outside of a nap store and I don't necessarily need to do the same way everyone else does and that's why I get really excited about this kind of stuff so you could see this is the same the basic premise as something like some city it's a builder app but just happens to be drastic world jurassic world from the biggest openers of all time this half went to number one there's no I mean that was a top grossing app going everyone wins now bring it back down to more of a you know level that we can all probably understand california do you my lawyer john kucera I mean he needs a nap so why not build him and happy similarly why doesn't why don't you get it after the city of laguna beach they need nap and need went out and gave him one why not do that why why bother doing all the over the pay traffic why don't you just do this and so I want to do give you guys a quick how to on how you can make this happen because I think that this is a really cool alternative to everything we've talked about a good way to wrap it all up there's two paths you can build the app first or you can find the partners first you build the out first you create the app you want you do everything we just talked about you go through all the exercises and you create something that's valuable you make it stand alone it khun making get downloads it could get money all on its own it doesn't need these strategic partnerships you get the data you organize that you monetize that you show that this app is something on its own and then you go on your partner with someone who could send you lots of traffic here's an example that anyone in this in this room and anyone out there you go and do this if you wanted teo let's say you go build a video merger app huh I wonder who's done that before you know pretty simple concept but he say now that I've built this off the template already did it what can I do with this who could use a video merger app that could help their business? What if I went to a personal trainer and I said hey why don't you give all your clients this app where they can videotape themselves doing a workout and then upload it with music on top of it and then hashtag your you know your personal training hashtag and they get ten percent off the next training session it would be a huge huge value add for you and your clients would you spend fifteen hundred dollars today? Yes I would I'm interested in that okay, great. I just made fifteen hundred dollars off of instead of having to go do it now purchases and get all these other things that's one example where you can build the at first and go find partners when you flip that over go find partners first a lot of people out there looking for a nap everyone on snap everyone needs a nap we were just talking out lunch hey, man there's all these industries that just could use so many perhaps there's always people out there that have something aps I should I could use a classic btb sales everyone needed a website ten years ago fine people who want similar apse right? So all lawyers all doctors, all dentists they all need the same basic stuff they'll need a customized game and create a solution that is what they want hey, you need to contact info you need to collect leads you need to get in touch with people I've become a provider of that solution, right? Bill yourself or resell platform there's a lot of different platforms out there that you can go out and become a reseller for you kind of like selling software but that's we have a listing for slash b to b most of these air free and if they're not free you can it's a very nominal fee and you could just know resell it. But this is the idea right where you go to your local plastic surgeon and say hey don't you need a nap don't like why don't you have enough? You're crazy if you don't have a nap and these guys say absolutely and then you go to the next plastic surgeon and you say look don't you need an act just like this and all of a sudden that competition is no longer oh man there's so many people adapts now it's more like look how many of the exact same app I have and I've got credibility now like you should give me more money kind of a kind of a crazy way this works so that's what's really exciting about bee to bee and I just wanna go through a quick case study that I did on an app I built called bar skills this happened about two years ago I built an app where you can bartend like a pro you could truth your bartending level so as you can see you start up you pick your level and you get tips for how well you mixed drinks right and if you do it correctly you get the money and all that and you could share it we launched this we made about a thousand bucks in four months which I thought was like all right, I'll do that now purchases things like that then I asked myself why are we using generic bottles like why is this a bourbon and not jim beam like what's going on what are we doing so called the pain of aka I call the picardie and I said hey look I've got this killer app and you should put it in my ass you put your bottles right in there because we've got a couple thousand users were making money and they're like okay so then we took it a step further and we said all right how we take this and they could even better and he said all right well we can maybe we can create events maybe we could do something that no one's ever done before with an app the liquor companies are going to freak out over so we decided to go to this local bar we start this siri's where everyone the bar downloaded the app and then they showed the bartender hey how do I make this drink with bacardi in it how do I make this special drink with pinnacle vodka in it and the partners like I could make it for you right now like I like I love this cocktail I would tell my friends about this we went back to the brand and show them this free loved it there like you be kidding me why does anyone ever done this? Where is our marketing team doing unbelievable then we took it a step further and we said yeah you should use all this marketing real estate on your neckers and drive people to our act end of the day we did all this, just from a few phone calls just cause we had nap in the absolute made thirty seven in the house, so I made one thousand sponsorship have made thirty seven thousand dollars same exact, apt way more fun way more money justus possible is all very, very feasible and it's all very we're in that moment, right next couple of years old in this moment, this is the nineties for websites. This is all really exciting. So there's new emerging area of the app business. No one's really no one's really kind of gotten into this and that's. Why I think this is really exciting. You can start small and there's much more of a people business versus dealing with just the apse. If you like people, if you deal well with people, there's no reason why you couldn't go out and do all of this or partner with someone who likes the build aps and you go out and broker these deals or whatever it may be there's absolutely huge amounts potential. We're writing a big b to b block, it's, all free block siri's you can check it out on the website and we'll also include tools you can use.

This was a great class!! If you're thinking about launching your own app, this is the best first step you can take! It is a comprehensive lesson that takes you from the moment you get an idea all the way up to monetizing your app. Highly recommended!
