Welcome Back
So welcome back. It is now 2021, and we're able to get to Montana to do a little more shooting as well as a lot more editing. In the next few sections, I'm gonna take you through an overview of my entire process and you'll get to see all the little details that go into each image I share. We'll start off with pre-production and then you'll see how I plan and think about a shoot ahead of time. And you'll see how I use that pre-production to get me and my talent on the shoot on the same page so we can get a great array of images. You'll see the full shoot from start to finish and from there we will take it in to the editing room and edit some more photos. I'm really excited about this because this is a entire set of images, so you'll see how I'm editing photos more individually, but also how to create a good set of images that work together to share the story that you're capturing. We'll even get into smaller details like how I organize my files and how I'm exporting my files for whateve...
r it may be, whether it's print, digital, full res, small, whatever. You're gonna see all the little details that go into making shoots happen. Since the first part of this workshop, Adobe has made a bunch of changes, a bunch of amazing changes to Lightroom CC with a really great split toning panel and just made it a lot more user friendly. And with that, I wanna go in depth on each of the panels and how I'm using each one 'cause I think the technical part of understanding how each panel is working to affect the overall images and also how they're all working together is so important to each edit because like I said, I don't really have a flow of edit. I don't have a specific set regiment for each image. So knowing the panels in Lightroom and all the tools you have available to you is all the more important for number one, speed in editing, but also number two, understanding all your options on how to get what you want out of each image. And all the photos I'll be editing are gonna be available to you to edit right alongside me. You'll have the raw files so you can test out all this stuff in my Lightroom for yourself. Let's go. (upbeat music)

This class is really like a good investment. It's gonna help you step by step and you can come back to it multiple times when you need to. Been watching Andrew Kearns on YouTube since 2018. Massive fan of his editing style. I wanted this class as soon as I saw the discount rate. Being a student from a different country, I probably wouldn't have been able to afford it at it's original price. This workshop goes in real depth towards the "approach" of editing a photo. I learnt a tonne of cool stuff. So many new things. Subtle yet so powerful.

Incredibly Eye Opening This workshop truly opened up a whole new world of editing techniques that I didn't fully realize existed. I'd recommend this workshop for anyone who has a basic understanding of LR and PS already and are hoping to take it to new levels. I will keep coming back to it for a long time!
