Order Forms & Products for Preschool Photoshoots
Order forms. This is the proof job that we did. So one of the jobs that we did, we did $3,260 on 78 orders. It's an average of $41.79. It's pretty good average. We're doing about $550 an hour, okay. What we would do is we produced this order form, which is printed out on an office printer, we say, "Hey, we're shooting this one," here's date. Oh, we were asking, I couldn't remember what we did, we did it October 7th. It says this proof job we printed the proofs out on office paper, just copy paper. That's what they got. We noted, final orders will be produced on real photographic paper, which will enhance color and quality of the final product. We walked them through... Oh, this is when pictures were due back by. So this was two weeks before this when we would've been shot it. We have our packages, our collections start at $75. You get one class picture, two 8x10s, four 5x7s, 16 wallets, one portrait CD, okay. Package two is two 8x10s, two 5x7s, 8 wallets, and a portrait CD. Package thr...
ee is this. Who wants to guess what I did wrong with this order form? I did not specify how many poses were on a portrait CD. So that kinda sucked for me, 'cause they got everything. Things you gotta think about though. All right. We did allow people to divide out their packages to different poses. Our intention had always been you would've gotten one pose on a CD, that was our intention. Didn't work out that way. The new ones are of course fixed. Contact sheets will be sent home. They were sent home on the 9th, September 9th, they were returned October 6th. And, order online. We have add-ons, a-la-carte items, 8x10s, 5x7s, wallets, Funpacks, dog tags, key chains. Classroom composites, $20 on it's own. We have this fun little collage, CD on their own $20, again, I didn't know how many poses. Got me that time. All right, we talked about retouching. I'll show you guys some of these products. These are how they would come in. We get the envelopes. We actually printed these are ourselves. So we do watermark all of our pictures. We put our logo on them. Like to sign my work, okay. This little girl, in her little rainbow dress, cutest thing I've ever seen in my life. It's just a simply envelope with the window through, same stuff, we get it from Miller's. But it's got the clear window, goes to them. We would process these order forms the same way we did for our sport stuff, we talked about it. We photograph all the order forms. We send the original order form back with them as well. But we do keep an archive of all the order forms. It's just traditional e-service paper though, all easy, comes in beautifully. And the classroom composite, these are done through Miller's. It's just a little, says the name of the school, that's what it is, pre-school, high school, whatever. They have the designs, you just tell'em what you need, they fill in the blanks. We have tons of options on these. We talked about this is calendar, we'll get into more for the schools, this is a pre-school one. They sell like crazy for grandparents. They love this stuff. All right. What we found also, we've experimented with our packages and our pricing. Now what I've done is on our new order forms for these schools, and make sure we include this in the bonus stuff. We have a per digital file price, it escalates, the more you buy the cheaper they get. But we discount them 50% if you buy prints. So if you but a print package from us all of our digitals get knocked half off. And that school we were averaging over $60 a kit. With people taking advantage of that, because like we've mentioned before, if they already buying prints from me I'm probably not going to hit a lot of big re-orders. So selling the digital files to them and driving up my revenue initially is just fine. The order forms are printed just like all the other school and sports ones. It's a #10 envelope. In this one though we do put it in big bright letters, Order Online. We want you to go to our website, we want you to go use the pre-paid systems, we want you to go through that process of setting stuff up.
