this concludes the printing workshop. I hope I've inspired you to either start printing or to improve your printing. It's the world of putting your photos into paper is a wonderful one because it's like the intersection of manual labor meets the art and I think nowadays in photography we don't do that enough. People start treating film nowadays just to get back to this analog moment. So I think printing is the best gap of bridging what's on your screen, the thousands of images you might have and then bringing them to life to appreciate them better and to improve them. I think we should all have a printing catalog with 50 of our photos printed somewhere that we can show our clients or anybody who might want to buy photos because it's a good thing to print photos. Sometimes I spend hours down here just printing and sometimes I don't have an outlet for these photos. I'm just printing them for the sake of printing them. give them to people at the end of the day. I just want you to know that printing, as you've seen. It's not rocket science is not very hard. I know some parties might want to make it sound hard for their own benefit to sell you more things. But if you respect the steps, the crucial steps of having your monitor recalibrated every couple of months working in the dark room, having the right paper profiles, the icy profiles for the paper you're using, doing yourself proofing on Photoshop or lightroom or whatever you want and then doing your test prints on cheaper paper that has the same qualities as your higher end paper or just using cheaper paper for everything. And then you know doing your test print on small scale and then growing from there once you have the right results. I think that's it. It's really it's really fun. I actually enjoy doing it and I think you will too. So just respect the steps and have fun. Yeah.

I would recommend it for anyone trying to understand the print process better but, I think Alex needs to work on speaking a bit clearer and maybe slow down a bit when he is moving his cursor around in LR as was difficult to keep up with him and to see what he was doing.
