(somber piano music) Now, I wanna take this bit of your time to just wrap up the workshop and close this with some words of wisdom. It's been a pretty, crazy, wild five-six days filming this workshop. And I honestly believe it is the best workshop I've ever put out there. If you agree, send me an email. If you disagree, send me an email. We'll talk. (laughs) I think that just Finn is a crazy talented photographer. His integrity, I think, is world class. Very unique. Very few people have this integrity and I always strive for that as well. That's why we connected so well. Finn has completely opened up for you and for all of us. He's really shared his recipe book. He's- there's no secrets left and that's really healthy, I think. And he's done that. So you can just go kick ass and improve your photos and your storytelling. I hope this entire series inspire you to go out, make stories yourself, and to remember to shoot in your backyard as well. You don't need to go super far away to make...

a solid beautiful, compelling photo set. Just look at Finn's website. You know the KISS acronym. Keep it stupid, simple. Keep it simple, stupid. Something like that. (laughs) Well, I live by that, and I think we should all keep it simple when we're doing our shoots and we're making our stories. It's easy to get carried away with some crazy story that might work or might not work. But it mostly, if you try to complicate things it might just fall apart on you if the storyline is too weird, if your location is too complicated. You have to have a lot of experience to do that. And I think it's important, at least I remind myself every day to keep it simple. I live by this and it is very simple. It's try to leave a little piece of you in every piece of art you make. A photo, a film, just leave something that's yours 'cause that will make your photo unique and different and no one can take that from you. (somber piano music)

Fantastic My thoughts on the storytelling workshop. The short is; it’s fantastic. The long is I loved all the details covered, from shot types and the ideas behind them to the call sheets and shot lists, and the whole process. I felt like I had a better understanding of how to schedule a professional shoot and I really felt like I had a much better grasp on many ideas and concepts, and I believe I’ve been able to improve my photography with them, so thank you and Finn. It really is fantastic.

A path to better stories Very happy I got this workshop. Finn and Alex do a great job at teaching highly useful methods and specific advice to help you improve your own work, and more importantly, tell better stories that are meaningful to you.
