Go Forth & Conquer
Thank you guys well, we have made it. This is lesson twenty five. I pretty much cannot even believe that we are here, but we have one more goal. We have one more goal in this boot camp and that is to infuse your standout style into everything you d'oh infuser, standout style into everything you do now remember there's a lot of noise in the market today you are being bombarded with people with information with stories with ideas every minute of every day. This information age is what wonderful and I would not want to live at any other time in the history of this world. I think we live in such exciting times, but living in such exciting times means that we are constantly bombarded with information and our customers are constantly bombarded with information our customers live in a noisy world to where there are so many marketing messages, so many sales messages there facebook feeds are full of ads there. Twitter streams are full of ads they're instagram feeds are so full of ads they watch...
their favorite tv show and they get bombarded with ads, ads, ads at how is your business supposed to stand out? We all face an incredible challenge creating standout businesses in each of the crowded markets that we operate in over the last twenty four lessons we have worked bit by bit by bit to create a standout style that allowed will allow you to do just that the way your business stan it's out is a story that's essentially what we've been crafting lesson by lesson by lesson ah complete story thatyou comptel that you can show through every aspect of your business whether it's your brand your home page you're about paige the products that you offer the services that you sell the marketing messages that you create the media that you put out on social media channels no matter what the detail is, no matter how small or how big there's an opportunity to infuse it with your standout style. But of course this story isn't a story that's told in front of a captive audience there is only so much that we khun dio to shout louder to show up mohr and those things aren't the effective things the effect of things are digging deep and finding out what it is about you and your business and the way that you do what you do differently to tell a story the truly stands out you know, shouting doesn't help people pay attention to your business. Your standout story is in every single detail from your business from of your business from top to bottom remember show don't tell we tell a lot telling adds to the noise showing means knowing without a doubt what it is about you that's compelling, effective and unique and painting the picture of your business with those those things so this is less than twenty five go forth and conquer can you believe we've made it this far because I can't I really really can't okay as I said, your standup style should be baked into every aspect of your business now part of what we've been doing here lessened by lesson by lesson is actually crafting a standout style guide if u r s v p for this workshop you're able to download mine either as a presentation or as a pdf I built this specifically for this boot camp but these are the things that I'm thinking about with every decision I make every marketing tactic I try every product I create and launch this is what's top of mind so that I ensure that my business stand out and dies I have had some pretty incredible victories in terms of standing out in a very crowded space so I know if it works for me it can work for you too because what I see with you guys and with you guys out there are truly unique businesses businesses that truly have an opportunity to say something different to do something different so I'd like to share my standout style with you so first of all hi my name's terry gentilly my anthem the way my personality adds distinct value is intense goal oriented leadership I'm the maestro I combined power and prestige toe lead you and your business to the results you want and help you lead yourself there as well. I'm confident, ambitious, focused and influential. What makes me stand out what makes my business stand out and the and the team that I work with is strong opinions, decisive action, ambitious goals and impressive production. Our vision is to stay is that we seek to lead and empower a new generation of entrepreneurs who feel confident in their own ability to create value, lead their own communities and receive handsomely for it last part's important, the need we fill is that a new generation of entrepreneurs they're discovering a path professional, creative and personal fulfillment through business. They need strategic support to take their ideas to the audiences they want to transform. Tio they want to transform and the ability to turn that transformation into profit. Here's some of my guiding principles my business strives to recognize the potential in every client and her unique path. The success my business tries to challenge our clients to push their current vision of success past their comfort zone. Guys feel little push past your comfort zone yeah, okay, good. My business strives to experiment with new and innovative ideas and share them with our audience. Here's what my business refuses to dio my bro business refuses to settle for others formulas or techniques, we always search for deeper understanding and mastery. My business refuses to sell personal development as business training we're in the business of business development are unfair advantage is that we dig deeper. We don't want to know what works today. We want to know what's going to work tomorrow and teach you to figure out the same thing. Here's a fun one here is part of my unique point of view, a quote from the tenth doctor. People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non linear, non subjective viewpoint, it's, more like a big ball of wiggly, wobbly timey, wimey stuff, that's, that's, my unique viewpoint. Also tina fey and star trek here's my strategic plan, we want to create a methodology of self inquiry that helps entrepreneurs create their own plans for success. We want to create a community of entrepreneurs that share a vision and bring a diversity of experience. We want to create training on both strategic and practical aspects of business, building the way we want to connect, is through mentorship and thought leadership through the written word for legacy and through multi media to create transformative experiences like this one, and we want to create a connect on stage and in person my twenty fifteen chief initiative is to be a nationally recognized speaker that shares the message of quiet power strategy with audiences large and small what's your businesses stand outside style I'm gonna take you through the aspects that I just named in my business so that you can review what you've learned over the course of this training think back for a second toe where you started off what did you know about how your business stands out? What what were the problems that you were facing? What was the noise that you were being bombarded with? What was the noise that you were afraid your customers were being bombarded with? Probably weren't afraid you're probably exactly right what was that starting point and as you kind of think about where you started this boot camp off as we progress through your standout style think about everything you've learned about yourself about your business about what makes you unique about what what makes you effective and about what makes your business mohr compelling what makes your business stand out in less than twenty four we talked about your anthem the tagline for how you're you and your business add distinct value and to you at your highest value what's your anthem your vision where your custom where you want your customers to be ten years from now where you want to be ten years from now on the impact that you want to have on the conversation ten years from now, where do you want to lead your customers? Where do you want to lead yourself? Where do you want to lead the conversation you're participating in the need your business fills since one where a lot of people get tripped up, they know the work that they love to dio they know the kind of people they love to do it with, but they don't know they're not able to articulate that clear need you spent a whole lesson on that don't ask me what number it was, what? What is the need that your business fills? We also talked about your values and guiding principles. You are unique brand of joy. What is it that drives you that motivates you that makes you feel mohr like you? Mine's mastery what's yours. And then from there we talked about the things that supported your personal values, and then from there we created guiding principles for each of those values your business strives to and your business refuses to what were your personal values, your unique brand of joy? And what were your guiding principles and how do they inform every aspect of your business? Then we talked about the conversation you're a part of the other voices in that conversation and where that conversation is happening remember markets are conversations when you hear people asking questions and talking about the thing that you love most the work that you do in this world that's your market that's the conversation that you're a part of, the other voices in that in that conversation your quote unquote competition, our that's that's what you're competing with on a regular basis if not competing head to head on my solutions better than your solution you're competing for attention? How are you going to earn the attention of the people talking in your conversation? And where is that conversation happening? What media is that happening in hoo ah you know what coffee shops? Is it happening in what phone calls is it happening in what blog's is it happening in? We also talked about your unfair advantage essentially you're unfair advantages how you d'oh what you d'oh differently because better isn't better different is better that's what sally hogshead said and I firmly believe it that's why we're here we're here to figure out how you do what you do differently because it's better for your business it's better for your business to know how you do what you do differently what's your unfair advantage we also talked about your unique point of view your unique point of view is that voice that you speak with the influences on the way you think on the way you act on the way you create mine might be tina fey, star trek doctor who and postmodern theology what are yours? Oh what's your unique point of view and your unique voice we also took time to create a strategic plan what do you want to create? How do you want to connect? How are you going to go about doing those things? What do you want to create? How do you want to connect? How are you going to go about doing all that stuff? We also talked about key performance indicators what are those numbers that you need to be paying attention to to make sure you're making progress toward your goals? Because it's not just about, you know, checking out your page views every day at least for most people it's not for ninety nine point nine percent of you that is not a key performance indicator if you're not running mashable or buzz speed or something like that and if you are high, I'd like to talk to you about a guest posting opportunity. Your key performance indicators might be things like free consultations or conversions to your email, sign up or conversations in your membership community or turn rate on your membership community or homework completed or revenue generated? What are your key performance indicators and your key performance indicators lead you back to your chief initiative your chief initiative? Was that one goal? Remember you're only allowed one your one goal that gives your business direction and focus for the next sex six to twelve months, and we identified the conditions of that success. We identified a sub goals the mile markers that we needed to make that happen. We identified the systems that would make those sub goals more efficient, teo to reach. And we had identified the team support that we need to get that chief initiative done. So I want to know from you guys, what do you know now about your businesses? Stand out style. What do you know now about your businesses? Stand out, stocks style! Kate, um uh, I know that my my competition isn't necessarily other ayurvedic practitioners, but I know where I sit in the larger conversation that actually it's not that my clients are necessarily looking for iron veda, but they're looking for this particular solution and there's a much larger realm. I mean, it's from supplements to natural past, teo self help books, and so having myself stand out within, that becomes much easier. What else? What have you learned about your businesses? Stand out, stop style. What do you know now that you didn't know when you came here? Lisa? Yeah, I think I've actually got some words now, which I was always like, yeah, I'm different I could get on, so really it's, um I have a whole set of processes that I never really thought about how different they are on even just talking to people going oh wow they're different and it's the thing of it there's a vision there now I think that wasn't there before in terms of where I would like to take this in the world and how big I would like to take it because I was always sitting on the edge a little bit and now it's like okay let's go yeah do you feel like that focus is really going to help you stand out yes yes because actually I have this book I have not quite finished writing and I've kind of been going what else does it need in it and now it's like all of that information is really clear thank you. I can't say enough good things about this course. Tara provided so many new ways for me to think about my approach to the business I'm building -- from branding and personality, to vision and goals. The sessions are very methodical and focused, with actionable steps that help us move in the direction we WANT to move, not the direction that others say we should. And that's my favorite part of this bootcamp: that the key to a stand-out business lives within each of our unique styles. The sections on Fascination Language were pivotal for me. They got my brain energized about all of the ways I can use my natural approach as an advantage, as opposed to feeling held back by things that drain me. I was also impressed with the questions from the audience, how smart and relevant they were, and how astute Tara's responses were. If you missed the live broadcast of this bootcamp, the cost to purchase is well worth it.

At first I was tuning in to watch live from my computer at work but I kept missing nuggets (because I was at work obviously) so I just bought the entire course. I have been doing the exercises at my pace and I love it. I had done my Fascination Advantage test before but didn't know how to incorporate them into my business. I am Mystique and Prestige. I thought I had to be loud and showy as a photographer which does not suite my style. After finding out that Sue Bryce has a Prestige and Mystique advantage (which truly made my day) I now see how I can make those advantages work for me. Tara has taught me so much already. I finally feel confident in my choice to not do wedding, family or boudoir photography. For a long time I felt like those were the only options. But I know now that I can do whatever I want as long as I fill a need and I have a good business model. But most of all I feel focused and confident about the choices I am making as a photographer. This is a feeling I've never felt after taking any other workshops or reading any other self-help books. I am a Tara Gentile fan for life.
