So you are a marketing expert, and we are heading into our holiday season yet. So the expert the master, when did you start your holiday planning last week? Well, really, actually, when I started putting it into action, I can be truthful and saying that I was driving through a lot of the summer to get ready. But last week, I was in new york at a trade show meeting with buyers working on getting my product into s...

So so what you're saying is we're all ok before we're here, right now, ok, yeah, so it's okay, if you didn't start last week today, today is the perfect time to start hey marketing that's right? Well, we're really excited with everything I know you have a jam packed day so I'm just going to let you take it away thank you for being back here in critically ill so excited all right, so who is ready? We're going to kick your right off here to have their best holiday season ever right before your eyes are all here you cast I love it and so really what we're talking about is we want your best sales season we want you to sell more this holiday season and success and that is all about timing and preparation and so we're going to talk about both of those pieces throughout today so we're guard bliss of what you make regardless of what your product is holiday season is a time where people are shopping and buying and thinking about it it's the perfect time to boost but if we put all the pieces together properly you could have explosive sales over the holiday season so timing is really about understanding when and why people shop during the holidays we know that people buy more everyone seen it how many of you guys have seen those sort of magic sales that just seemed to happen over the holidays so we know that people buy more but if we understand when and why they're actually shopping we can elevate those sales even more and then the other piece is preparation so having a plan and promotional materials in place before the holiday season starts when you guys think the holiday season actually starts wait, so we're going to talk about kind of when people really start to buy but also when they start to think about the holiday season and we would have everything ready in advance because the other thing I know happens you guys are makers, your crafters, your designers and a lot of you are one person shows everyone's knotting we don't have staff, I don't have crazy stuff, I have one person that works for me, so I also want you guys to know if you're watching this, but I'm not I don't have a super team, I have a super person, I'm not gonna live she's amazing, but I don't have a big team, I'm like you, I do a lot of things myself actually pretty much everything I'm going to show you here today I dio myself, I do all my own marketing, no one manages that for me actually do all my own product photography, you don't have to do all these things yourself, but I want you guys to know as I'm talking about all of this that it is possible to do it yourself, but that comes from having the preparation in place because what happens during the holiday season is those orders start coming in usually at a higher volume than you're used to dealing with, and you end up getting sucked into order, fulfillment and customer service. And so you don't have time to really do the bigger marketing push, and that means you're leaving money on the table. Hate leaving money on the table drives me crazy, whether it's, your pricing or not being prepared enough, we never want to leave money on the table, so we want to have all of your marketing materials in place. We want to have your plan and have those promotional materials done and scheduled on your calendar, so that you can just plug them in and then get back to what you really need to you during the holiday season. Fill those orders. Give that good customer service so that's. What we're going to d'oh in this class today.
