Student Response: What's Your Show?

So so now we have a little time left I'd like to hear from the life through the online audience first off on dh then and then we'll come back in here, huh? And what I what I'd like to do is ah I first want to find out if there are any questions on what we just covered and then I know we don't have a lot of time I think we only have about ten minutes or so, but I did want to I didn't want tio get four show ideas from one of you based on what we just talked about four show ideas based on what we just talked about ok, so we put that into the chat rooms that will take a while for them to get back with some of those ideas so we have any questions from the students of this point we'd love to hear the morning comments on what we've covered so far in this way do while they're writing we do have an interesting one around that community building from three eighteen media what if the community you attract isn't your ideal audience or the ones you want to attract? Well, it's I guess it depends on ...

what they're what they're doing to attract that wrong audience right now what they should do you know what should they be changed? I want that you know, why don't you want the audience well, who's, the audience that you're attracting is it may be because your prices are too low that you're attracting an audience that you might not resonate with if that's the case up your prices, if they are in a community that you are targeting that don't necessarily resonate with what your businesses don't target that community like this, it was that that's exactly it it's the low budget fights and saying, yeah, yeah, that that air coming in, for instance, you know, it's like it's funny because for instance, what what can happen his best? We see somebody else that's my competitors, right? I see my competitors where I see someone who I perceive is my competitors, so I'll try to attract their customers, but their customers are completely different from my customers because they do something in a different way than I do. So when they come into my business, I realize, wait a minute, I didn't really want those customers because there they are they they do something that was more resonant to that to that audience right to that to that business model and it's completely different than my business model. And so when you started going and trying to attract customers from other people that you perceive as your competitors, that don't necessarily have that have, you know, the model that you're totally looking at looking to do in your own business you're not going to get the right customers or not get the right audience they're not going to be who he is you are you going to train your audience training your audience is very difficult thing training an audience whose proceeds one thing to then do another thing it's not very easy you sometimes could do it and these people you could you could certainly do it by changing your price point increasing your price point in telling why which is a fearful thing to do but it's it could be very powerful for obviously changing your your audience around you're gonna lose audience members but then you're going to gain new members or keep those members who have been changed have been turned you you convince them so so I would I would say if you're attracting the wrong customers think about what the type of customers you want to attract what you need to do in your business to do that price points where to find those customers things like that now okay so dennis I wanted to ask you let's come up with four show ideas for you okay did you have you been running him down your own did you get off for yes can we get the white board alright good there's no profanity and them I know okay e matter um I can't check with the moderates in england maybe yeah, who knows what I'm doing? Something infinitely thank you. All right, so very quickly. Thank you, bana. So let's, let's talk about those four show ideas, so I'm going to let's see, I'll stay here because I'm a lefty. So, dennis, I'm sorry if my handwriting is terrible. Said dennis number one what's your first show idea four degrees to your dream job four degrees to your dream job. Okay, I'm also a terrible speller doing okay, okay. What's what's your second street, our show idea finding land, your ideal job in the hidden job market. Good one finding land your ideal job correct in the hidden job hidden job market. So what I like about that is that it's, almost like this is something unique, like in the hidden job market. Like if you've been struggling to get get a job. Well, um, I have this sort of untapped area where you can go and it's like endless so great number three targeted, focused versus random networking, targeted focus, targeted and focused, correct targeted to tease and that you don't know targeted and focused siguen networking so let's, just say that. Ok, ok. Um and then number four, take charge of your next interview. Take charge, charge ofyour next interview I got this terrible looks like a four year old okay, so you put your name in the top thank you. So what I love is that I can really hear your audiences issues here in their problems and their concerns coming through right um dream job what they love they'd love to have a dream job ideal job they love um take charge of your next interview these air fears but they fear target and focus networking um obviously networking that doesn't get him anywhere it's a waste of time it's ah it's a suspicion that they're worried about it's a concern so you're focusing on that to these air great these are great four degrees to your dream job final and your ideal you know it's it's like underlining those things that really are buzzwords for people right there really are the thing that really makes those that that audience connect focused and targeted taking charge of your next interview empowering them so that's that's terrific so this has helped to give you an idea of what your show khun b a your show concepts are these air great and here is something that really resonates with people for you know when you have like a number like four things that you can do in your business too increased traffic and things like that those are good resonate er's for for your community so this is this is terrific how much time by the way, we've got about just over well under ten minutes or so five or so I've got some coming in from online if you want tears of love to bring about some good ones absolutely s o this is from val mac we heard from earlier mac so that's like saying the show would be being a bit of being a bit of being a better leader being a better leader episode one is what to do when you get a new team or a new team member to do when you number two would be getting the team involved in create king strategy hold on one second ok dennis we're gonna hold on that okay read breathing again so be being a better leader is the title of the the concept a better leader episode one would be what to do when you get a new team or a new team member o this is the concept of number ones that is what to do when you're hiring a new team getting a new team together or simply a new team member to do with a new team or new or hiring sorry for a new team member the only team or a new team member I got a new team for new team remember so this is yeah ok so let's let's go with one another one the app number two is getting the team involved in creating strategy getting the team involved involved with creating strategy yeah creating strategy number three with them be about looking good to upper management looking good to upper management okay, I'm just going to keep on going to lower here good with you up for all the type of you need to okay number four and number four is leveraging the team members to achieve results leveraging team members to achieve results to achieve results ok, so great so these air all four leaders this is all for a leader and what a leader's fears are, what their concerns are on and what they what they want to do better in their business. So um this kind of is all about I think the fear of a leader right what to do with a new team or new team member? Because oftentimes if you're hiring a team member, you could go just the wrong way I've I've had I've hired people that it was just mistakes mistake after mistake after mistake there's this rule I have it's what is it? It's higher hires higher slow fire fast I think I think that's what it is that it really is true that you know there is a certain fear about hiring the right team member so so I would almost think for a leader how to hire a team member in the first place howto how does how to hire the right team member and what to do with them maybe it could be a little bit of a buzz word that you could use them there how to hire the right team member right so this one how did getting the team involved with the creative strategies how to leverage the team so that you have more time ah by having them focus on the strategies right so and so now now think about that that leader that leader needs more time and because they need more time how to get the team involved in the strategic planning right so it's almost like think about this howto leverage so worded differently right does this make sense teo the online audience so instead of getting the team involved with creative strategy hey, how about this um free up your time strategies for freeing up your time and getting you're getting your team involved with with creative creating the strategy right that way now the leaders like that's what I want I want more time looking good to upper management yes, I like that that that's kind of like um you know that's one of their concerns that's a valid it's a valid concern leveraging the team members to achieve results yes so that kind of relates back to that one doesn't it? Uh so level you know, leveraging the team members s so that they can maybe become leaders themselves but this is a good one too so so the only two I would say uh at a couple of buzzwords to would be these two right one here that I think is interesting is it's a different approach yes and girl she's a coach and artist must they will be so serious or can't we use humor to capture their attention while feeding actual solid content and don't write these down but just to run them palace because it's sort of a court puts it I thought it was mastermind shower show expect artist in the black first coaching snafus things I try to sell to my cats absolutely this is I love all of this this is great guess that's it I mean one of the things that I love to talk about is is humor is one of the best ways to connect and build a report with an audience on dh sometimes when we take ourselves away too seriously in my opinion it it's sort of counterintuitive I like the idea that everything should have a little fun why can't we have fun while we're teaching something of strategy? A lot of us have this misconception in this perception that fun doesn't mean that you know what you're talking about and that's completely wrong that's uh no it's it's completely false eso what I when the videos that do the best out there are are both educational excuse me informative but also humorous right and if you combine all that together in a video or an online event great and if you don't have, like, if you're worried that I'm not a very funny person, I don't have a humor. You have a personality. Your personality is your humor. That's, that's. When you got to think about, so, don't you know, I just have to take yourself so seriously.

Since I have been using Easy Webinar for a few months it was a pleasure to attend this workshop live and meet Casey in person. I learned a lot about how to take my already successful Youtube campaigns to the next level by including Google Hangouts. Casey is very knowledgeable and even though I have participated in the workshop, I have already reviewed the material again, simply because there is so much value in having access to this course again and again. The CreativeLive staff is simply awesome and I enjoyed meeting other, like-minded individuals who participated in the workshop as well.

In word, Amazing! I learned more in 3 days with Casey than I could have in a year on my own. If you're looking to build an online audience from scratch or exponentially compound your existing audience, make the time to take this course. The great thing about owning the course is I can review whenever I want, I find myself going back over and over again to find just the right advice when I need it. Thank you Casey, and Thank you Creative Live Dennis Thompson
