Bringing Your Business Model to Life
Let's talk about next steps, because that's always the question. In what order do I need to do what? Have you found product market fit for your core offer? If you've not, find it, that's your next step. If you're still way back with us on session four, lesson four, that's totally fine. You are in very, very good company right now, but that's what you really need to focus on. You don't need to focus on the follow up offer. You definitely don't need to focus on the first step. You don't need to think thought what that all looks like. You don't need to know what the next step is after that, all you need to do is find product market fit for your core offer. If you've got that, and you've got that core offer down and you feel really confident about it, even if it's not necessarily producing at the level you want it to produce at yet, the next step is to think about your follow up offer, because having a follow up offer in place is gonna generate additional revenue for your business so that ...
you can use that revenue to invest in amplifying the marketing and the sales, to find the customers that you need for that core offer to get it producing at the level you want it at. So core offer, then you add on the follow up offer, that's gonna help you maximize the amount of revenue you have to play with to continue to grow your business. If you have your follow up offer, but you don't have a first step offer, whether that's a free one, or it's a paid one, create one. Build in that first step. And if you have all three, work on that referral engine and start amplifying and accelerating your marketing. That's when sky's the limit baby. When you've got that engine working for you, when your business model is hummin' along and you're generating more and more revenue because of that and you can see, I've got the capacity here, I know what's next, that's when you can start saying, for every dollar I put into marketing I get three back, so I'm gonna put on it as many of those dollars as I want, 'cause I'm gonna get those three back on each and every dollar. That's a really good place to be. That's ultimately where you're working to as you work through building out this business model. So for you guys, what's your next step? Alaya, what do you think is your next step? I actually think it's working on that first step and positioning that biweekly livestream into more of the first step versus lead gen. Great. That we talked about. Excellent. Bailet. Well I need to figure out exactly what I'm building. (laughs) So you're starting on product market fit? Yeah. Beautiful. Maria. I think I need to look at my core offer and see if I can maybe split it up a little bit into the next step as well, like the follow up step. So you're kind of between product market fit and follow up offer? Yes. Yeah. You might have both already, and you gotta figure out how that looks? Right. I love it. Jennifer. Clarify my core offer. Yes. Greg? Dump out the drawer and build the ax. Yeah! Core offer, alright. Okay, great!

Every time I thought the class had reached a point that I knew "enough" about, Tara dropped yet another game-changer that I'd never even considered. Great experience, great speaker, great class.

Although the course targets people who have already started a business, I found it very helpful for me as I start my own business. I particularly appreciate the step-by-step guide to developing a 3-pillar business model. Very practical. i highly recommend it.
