The first one creative market. So creative market. This is ready to use design assets from eleven thousand three hundred and fifty nine independent creators. Graphic graphic sponsors themes, photos and more, starting at two dollars. The one thing that this I did really well is what I call a trip wire that's ah, low commitment offer that's two dollars doesn't cost much. They also have something saying continue with facebook. That's another thing we talked about that's. Another good strategy. They have best of two thousand fifteen. Ten percent on the top one hundred products. Claim your discount. I would test having a button here versus this. It blends in more. That should help increase creek throughs and sales. If you also move your mouse cursor off the screen, I would actually have ah, exit pop up that helps. And the exit pop up should contain the days six days, twelve hours, two minutes fifty seven seconds with the cult action. That should help quite a bit with sales. So, see, what's ...
included let's. Click around. All right, so you have hey, here's. What? Uh, since he bowled handmade art deco cards square kit so let's, click this so buy for five dollars. Bye for thirty nine of the bundle is recon by the individual items I would have more descriptions here of what they're getting so they don't always have to click through on the next page you have the pennant share it, tweet it out actually start showing counts um if a lot of people are sharing if they're not removed this, uh, share with these buttons unlocked three free assets I didn't see this so I would try to highlight this more right there said that were more people like litter share. I would also put a show shal uh, type of proof they're such as x people share this and then have that counter keep going up there's more people are sharing it save ninety six point three percent get these products for thirty nine dollars uh there's a usability issue sight issue it's not a bad design is that you quite beautiful, but I thought from this january big bundle, this is what you guys were selling. I didn't realize that these are all the products here that I'm buying, so I would consider structuring the design in a way we're showcasing the products first or getting feedback and say we're having like a little arrow down saying products are below are making this bigger don't want to spend money here three, three assets more so put that upon the exit and just survey people and find out hey, what else can we change on this page? What do you think we offer here? And then you'll find out what people are really thinking this is actually good values so I'm getting all this at thirty nine dollars my first impression is when I was looking at this I thought you were trying to solve all of these three things for thirty nine dollars and I was going through this and I was like, oh, crap the first one's five dollars and then you go to the next floor music is it only five dollars and that's five dollars and then you go back again and if the third was five dollars in like, wait um I getting ripped off here? No, you guys are actually providing a really good service for affordable amount, and for that reason I would showcase all the products that they're getting and how much they normally costs and they're getting all for thirty nine dollars see, this is a really good deal and this page never keeps ending, right? I can keep scrolling this just shows that I'm getting a ton of value see and then I would have the share buns here and be like not and did not have buy buns not interested in buying it where if you share this on pinterest, facebook or twitter will give you these three things for free c meet the town's shops you contribute that school I would have another cult action about then and again exit pop of for all the people who don't buy or if they don't want to buy even in the exit pop up given the option to put in their email address so a b test that because it could get enough email addresses people to market too, and you can give him a coupon or some sort of discount where if they put the email linda and well, dave instead of thirty nine dollars, I'll get it for thirty five dollars or twenty percent off coupon next time. So that's the first example and next is tiffany han dot com, so business and branding uh coach for high business and branding coach for highly creative woman raise your hands and say yes, listen to the podcast, so typically with most sites that have models, as you can see, this changes right pen this image with pinterest you don't really want to do too much of that. The image is beautiful, but the goal is to get him to take action. There's one thing on this site that problem, we will generate a more generate tiffany, more cells and anything else. Instead of having this cara saw rotate out folks on that one offer and get people to all go down that one final path do you remember that home page I showed on the neil patel dot com put in your girl I'm controlling the flow of where people go if you take a little kid take candy started giving too many options what did they do? They don't know what they want to buy like I want this candy and that candy that one well but you'll get it by to well I don't know yeah let me think about it that's what happens? Um I believe new york times or the article or someone I found the case study on conversion excel there is this jam case study on they went into a supermarket they said let's give away free jam so they decided to have a ton of flavors like sixteen or thirty and people just come by they put in this wooden stake and they go slop some jam up and then they look it you guys have seen that they tested jam out they're like all right cool and if they want it they combined and they can go from there then they decided to do an a b test they reduced the options I think like six of their best flavors people put on the stake they like it I like it I want to buy enough by reducing the options they got more sales it just shows having to me options the carousel type of stuff doesn't work as well, pretty design, she did a lovely job with beautiful images and she's giving options for listen to the podcast as a life coach, this is a high ticket items. I'm assuming that she's selling what she wants to do is give away something that can help someone with business or branding in exchange for email, because email getting to know people believe that trust is more likely to increase her sails and her conversions, then if she went the other way and said, hey, check out the blogger, all right, you go to the block, you read some content, what next? Someone may not come back, so my my word of the year, this is cool, but it doesn't convince people to get to know her, right? As you can see from here, how do I leave a comment? Comments are a great way to interact and engage with their community, so if you leave a comment, you're much more likely to build that report with people and generate sales, so I would enable comments. The other thing is, I would have a little opt in here that said, um, like often for free course or e book on how to grow your business, you can also have something in a sidebar, right here under above most popular inspired friday confessions, something that gives the reason for people to put in their name and email address. Once you collect the email address for every hundred emails you collect, you should be able to generate a three or four sales if you're doing a good job with email marketing and assume your product isn't too expensive. If you have expensive product like a thousand dollar product, you should be able to generate at least one sale from a thousand or from one hundred emails that's not bad that's one percent you would have to build a report drip people get to know him, and by doing this, what you'll find is your sales would go up. So going over what tiffany han should dio is one removed the carousel on the home page once you had used to caress on the home page, creased them sort of offer here encourages people toe often I'm gonna go over, I will teach you to be rich dotcom here's a good example of a home page. Are you ready to live a rich life for me? Said the new york times best selling author. Get the best of my new york times best seller where should I send the for your free download name? Email? You see how he's collecting email opt in before he's trying to get youto buy anything? He sells products for thousands of dollars. Right? And then from there he has below earned money you could get started find your dream job save more money and he's going to all these cult actions he quick earn more money all right profitable idea boom another name email so for him it's all about convincing people to put a name and email address it's a great way to generate and here's an example of the exit popov I move my mouth christian to the back but you see this fifteen like experiences that will change your life no, I don't like change yes unlocking the experiments enter information below to access the material name email changed my life that's a good example of what to do. So going back to this I would do that on the home page something more similar to re meet I would adjust the block back I was talking about in which you have opt in here in the side bar you can have some below the block post if you want a swell enable comments um you can have like scrolling ads here making more creative uh everybody poops that's interesting don't do it don't do it because you want to do it because you don't do it because you want teo do it because you have to like my eyes are a bit bad here's example of creative ads let's see slash log says as you can see, I opt in here from ah how toshio I'm sharing everything my journey into one hundred thousand monthly visitors I'm learning a lot and so will you first name email address, semi traffic lessons, december's monthly visitor some still sticking with the theme then I make a personal have it about me as you can see a slider learning the three step process used malta I used to build a multi million dollar business while sleeping right I can learn more click x that's example of ad here's another ad free webinar how do you turn ice cold prospects into happy customers? Another ad for my own stuff you taught me how to make money without taking off my clothes another ad newsletter box make money we'll use easy easy another ad not hard right here and you'll talk me out of big money without taking off my clothes. It works really well here's me even a sad face you'd be sad too if you knew how much money you're leaving on the table right it's all creative type of stuff it works a lot have more ads you'd be laughing too if you had a sales funnel, you see I'm engaging with people it looks like I'm crazy and I probably am crazy I really am crazy but I think that's what makes me a decent marketer and then I'll have the scrolling thing on the top the header and then that goes to them one of my money pages like the landing pages that converts really well like innocence no matter where you are on the page I've given your opportunity toe goto unpaid tickets get me an email address and from there I'll educate you and help you out which will then convince you to buy I'm conflicted you know because I do hate him and I know other people would probably hate him too and so it is a conflict for me in my value okay but if that exit was offer let's say mine was offer and you came to my website yeah and the offer taught you how to grow trafficked here on web site and you put in the email address and then you yourself monica you got better results your website got more traffic. What kind of business do you have your sight I'm going to do photography but it's photography alternative processing photography cool so you did that it's very becoming popular because of the tips you learn and you started generating more income would you be happy? Yeah and then would you be happy that you put in your name and evil that exist now would I guess what's more? What I find more known is the ones that are in the beginning yes so you can try to do exit you want to beginning if it's mobile I tryto wait like five, ten fifteen seconds at least yu shi over ten the reason being is with mobile you can't detect when someone's gonna exit it can't track the mouse man you see if my cursor he's thinks pop up when I move my mouth pressure outside the browser window when you're doing this you have to make sure that whatever you're providing is a looks pretty in design or whatever you think is pretty in design and b you're giving more value then what you're asking for so if you're educating you're helping someone else they're not going to be upset with you the moment though your spam e just cloaked even you don't give him anything in exchange you're gonna have issues so that's why exit pops work is because the people who do him like ra meat or me we go above and beyond in the value we try to provide but if you don't do that you will get a bad name for yourself okay? I'm convinced all right the next example uh what is a spirit aged home sport lifestyle uh she's cemil school I don't you know how to speak italian I think this is italian because this is the informational site so let's first translate it all right homes four slices interviews videos who we are contact schools this is starting to make a lot of sense now so this site uses cookies and clean third party information. Yeah, yeah, look. Okay, there. Original text. They're offering sliders. Sliders like that are a good way to actually generate maur. Uh, what is it called? It's? A great way to generate more. Click through their pages per visitor. So when you show a slider new york times was the one who first came up with it. He saw in the neil patel site to exam without popped him from the bottom left. There is your sliders, and if you type in like sliders or goto hello bar you could get a lot of that stuff all for free. So this website that she did a pretty good job cold, cold and lack of desire to make all now this is translated to the original title is better, but if I wear these guys, I would make sure my headlines are very like uh, much more clickable. You can use clickbait, but make sure the headline matches the contents of that way. No one's upset with you sudden afternoon couch cover comfortable suit movies. So this is contribute better chance and I think that's a google thing. The big thing here is used the word you and I more in the text I think they're doing a bit, you hear I hear you here uh you can also ask questions I could get you to come sorry I get I can get you to come a little desire to get out from under the covers the translation is messed up the google translates never perfect but I'm pretty sure they're askyou something like can I convince you to come out to the coverage right experiment and have fun or whatever it may be but asking questions within your text helps engagement so for example I'm trying to convince someone to get other from their bed during a rainy day I would ask something like it's all it's so cold outside and rainy you don't like killing you don't feel like to get out of your bed right? Well I don't either but just imagine just how much fun can we have in the rain, didn't you love is a kid getting dressed up in your little rain outfit going out there splashing around in the puddles, having some water fights and just having a blast and doing some slip and slide in the yard? Well why can't we do that in the rain? So why don't you get out of bed and let's go have some fun in the right whatever it may be I'm just making this up but that's more engaging now you can write content that's way better than what I just pitch just gives the example of how to create content that's making people want to keep reading more engaged leave comments maybe share you also see on the side here right here should be social sharing but as you scroll using like flair bar as a plug in you'll get more social shares so they're sure features here which you're good you can add him to the top like right here but I found that the ones on the side at school with you tend to convert the best he also see this categories I've also found that no one really clicks on categories so I would remove them and a blogged people don't care about recent articles or cool I would also put pop most popular articles and all time favorite uh liking on facebook is cool for a social site you probably want more facebook traffic I would make her exit pop up like the example I gave in the presentation where says hey neil patel likes neil patel so why don't you like him too that's the example of a facebook like campaign um popular post that's good I would combine the popular post with the recent articles right like uh buttons I talked about in the blogging article so mine wass all time uh current hits and neil's favorites so that's example of how to do it where you can click tim farriss used to do as well photo library is cool you click on the photo you go from here skip the ad all right? That's fine, I don't know if this is a comment uh no it's just a bio this bio it looks more like a comment so I would actually make the bio more look like author box versus, uh, comment box and see what happens there if you could just dive in with carousel I've heard such conflicting advice about using carousel images but a lot of people in listening creative live I have images to sell or art to sell and you have product to sell. So what is the you said intersperse the carousel with a call to action and any other advice about each carousel when you have the image, make sure there's a violent as well because if there's not, then someone can buy so if you're going to use the cure sold a showcase your artwork, your portfolio every slide should have abide by it and doesn't have to be obtrusive make sure it's beautiful if your artwork is pretty you don't want to tak e by button as well okay that that overcomes the asio challenge with or actually it's conversion conversion and return to self images. Parasols are very valuable because you can showcase all of them okay, but e commerce what happens is you have so many different types of products in all types that it confused people even care sells you wanna showcase maybe remain stuff but use you're better off which is showing all your images and letting people scroll down and see him and by which whatever once they want kind like on abs on when you do a search for uh let me give stock photography example when I search for stock photography I'm on photo leo or whatever side it may be I'm typing in something like business or meetings or dogs or t words I'm scrolling through the images I like and then I'm clicking up then it takes me a page right on by that's a much better user experience and having to go through a carousel of clicking one by one by one because it makes it so much hard to skim and figure out what you want to buy and what you don't want to buy anything the cat carousel would be useful for categories and then diving down through a whole portfolio of categories you're better off in your categories till just showcase your work from most popular toe least popular all right, thanks I'm wondering when he do when you look at some of them they'll have a very number of calls to action on a page can you talk about on any given screen? How you think about the number of call to action that you include? I don't think of it as in one or two or five there's another point where it's like too many you don't collect five on the same screen like on this screen, if there's five cult actions that be one too many, but if you're getting your message across and it flows, so I look at it section for section, so sidebar always try to have something in the side far as people are reading if their eyes are in the middle of the page, where all your information is as they're reading, there should be called toe actions where it flows and it makes sense and you can break up things, and it figured in the main point across, well, if we have no other questions, I just like to ask, can you give us your final takeaways for internet marketing in two thousand sixteen? Sure, with anything you're doing, you have to test. So what? I mean by that is you're going to see things that are online, you'll see me talking about things that work, you'll see other people that talk about stuff that works just because you see it working for one photographer, one e commerce I won lee generation or consulting site one wedding planning site doesn't mean it's going to work for everyone. By testing, you'll figure out what works for you and what doesn't work for you you contest by just moving around elements, changing things and see if you're getting in more sales for less sales. Your analytics, like google and looks, which is free, allows you to test, and they give you data. What helps you get more cells. What doesn't? In addition to that in two thousand sixteen, you'll see a big trend of user experience. It's getting harder to manipulate the social web, search engines and the sights and the people that offer the best user experience. The most value to customers are the ones who went in the long run. Yes, when you were on facebook at the beginning, you had all these fans you put up update. It goes out to every single one of your updates. Now it doesn't. It goes out to a percentage, but when facebook says, hey, you got really valuable content. All right, we'll start showing it to every single one of your fans, that's, all about providing the best user experience, because if you do that facebook, google, all these social sites will give you more traffic.

First, I would like to thank Creative Live for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the live audience in Neil Patel's course. It was a thoroughly enjoyable, thoughtful and useful class . Neil Patel is extremely articulate and knowledgeable in the SEO techniques. He shared his ideas and concepts unselfishly - some a little complex - in a manner which even a non-techie could understand and appreciate. I am a young Chef at a 2-Michelin star restaurant here in San Francisco, a writer and an entrepreneur. I have a blog and a website right now, and am in the process of building another website - so this course came at the perfect time. I have not been getting enough traffic to my website and blog and Neil has taught me a bunch of strategies to overcome this challenge and, eventually, be able to stand out in this crowded field. I am now ready to generate not just traffic but relevant traffic to my sites that will produce a high conversion rate. This will enable me to share my knowledge and experiences, reach a bigger audience and reap some financial rewards in the process. The cost of purchasing this class is so well worth it - I have no hesitancy in recommending this to anyone who would like to increase effective traffic to their websites with strategies that can be implemented immediately and easily. I cannot thank Neil enough and the wonderful Creative Live staff who made the participants feel so welcome. Sometimes, all you need is a little help to get to where you want to go, and I think I got that today.

I follow Neil's blog like so many others. I cannot afford to hire him yet but one day, I will be wildly successful and I will definitely give him a call then so that I can hopefully purchase one of his product offerings. This class is great and he has a great sense of humor. He is effortlessly funny. He knows how to teach complex SEO things in an easy and enjoyable way. I don't normally leave reviews (this is my first review & probably my last) but I feel I owe him a review due to everything that he has taught me on his websites. I learned a lot in this course but because he is so pleasant, I didn't notice I was learning; it was fun. Thanks Neil!

This was a fantastic course with lots of useful advice and tactics. Clearly, Neil is the real deal. Instead than trying to sell you gimmicky hidden methods and tactics that would instantly increase your sales by a thousand times, he gives you the precise tools and strategies you need to keep growing. I liked that there was no padding like in many business courses, and the pace was really focused and quick. This course will continuously ask you to pause and seek out some fantastic tools or go deep into practical advice that will help you build your business by adding value for both current and new clients. I heartily endorse.
