Introduction to Etsy
This is going to be a really jam packed kind of course, I have probably about four hours of material packed into three hours, so we're going toe kind of is it through a lot of these things? The thing I really want you to get out of the class is just the tools, the understanding, the knowledge that you need tio create your etc shop because, you know, if you've ever tried to open as chop, you'll see you'll know that there is just so much information that you have to gather before you can actually do it. S o I'm going to give that to you, and what I'd like is for you to be able to make a really solid decision about whether or not and if the shop is right for your business. Okay, so why don't you? I'd love to hear how you got started in etc, so use you were making jewelry for, like, twenty years. Yeah, I started my handmade jewelry business in nineteen ninety three on it was actually started as a full time wholesale business. I sold over two hundred stores and galleries all over the countr...
y. So how did you start start? So you yeah, that was way before that I did craft shows, and okay, you know, kind of did setting up my canopy and all that stuff, and I realized that hotel was a better way for me to do my business on ben, about two thousand seven. A really good friend of mine told me about etc, and I was doing kind of more crafty things at the time to balance out the metal work. I was doing some sewing, and so I thought, well, this is great, a crafty place to put my crafty stuff and it's quickly after that. Soon after that, I realized that I could actually put my jewelry on at sea. And not only that, but I could put my custom pieces on etsy because you're working one on one with the and customer. So it's, definitely it's. Definitely a great place to kind of expand the business. Start a business, it's, a nice sales tool.

This is an an amazing class. It is great for beginners as well as those who have had their shop up for while. There is something new to learn for everyone on Etsy. Marlo's powerpoints are concise and clear. I was so glad to also get the ebooks so I can go back and review the course while I make changes to my store. I am able to bookmark and work through all the changes. Thanks for this course, Marlo and CreativeLive.
