Leaning on Apple Box Pose #1 & #2

This is really interesting. I just saw this pose for a handbag. Head for the river. Tom basically, the girl was very long, like cassidy. She had it elbows here hand here like this. I can you back a little bit towards the backdrop. She had hands like this on the box. Abaza bent. So she's like this okay, she's gonna be kicked out a little bit. So you're you're too upright. So you need to kill e t push back there that to go right here. Chin was towards the camera and it was up like that. She's got a reference for its coming spendy bendy been dvd, right and there's a big handbag stuck between your hands just like that. By the way, we've already covered the look back post. This is interesting because you they look so desperate, but they will flow into my account internal and I instantly do it. I'm like, go from here to here to here, to here, to here, to here to here and then I've done three and I'm like, oh, that was three poses. But, you know, to me, days three concrete poses that when you...

can't remember, you're going to look at the picture and mingle that's, right, suing from this one to this one to this one to this one to killing two looking back teo buck when they're shooting burberry or louis vuitton whatever that's the same thing that happens they're moving through different poses it's not like they started out with you know they try different things it's really weird it was about having a long make this way and tipping this way that's a go it was about here sort of I'm being banned in the front and her hands were turned out like this, but what brought me to this next pose was I saw this and I thought, what a random pose but then I guess she's leaning with her big louis vuitton handbag right here so it actually made a lot of scenes and then I thought, wait a minute, this is one of my go to posers great, another apple box so if you feel like you've got that, this is the transition I grab another every box here and I beaned over and put your elbows on there and then pushed back through the curly body, working the front shoulder, chin all the way to felix, okay? And then I go like this with the hands and before you know it shoulder, shoulder width, shoulder width shoulder chintu felix long ten before I know what I'm here and the irony is is I've got this beautiful post going on and now I can with the heads never in your body towards me because otherwise what goes away from the cameras bring a beauty towards made it to go stop. Okay, now, tin shota. Okay, now I start getting into more beauty style posing, but I get them to stand and lean on the box. Because then I get this body shape and to let me pose it from the front so I can show you the transitions here, because what I started to do was shoot lower because she's special. And the whole point is that we're shooting lower, and then what I would do is I would get some action to hear that because everyone's natural instinct is to push the booty out, and we wanted to be fashion. So we wanted to be clearly and long and bad posture. And then we want this beautiful shoulder working towards the chin always and then I'm going to transition. So you watch this, you're kind of looking in the women here it's crazy. Okay, the elbows too wide. You watch how feminine her body line gets when these hands relax and bring them inside her shoulder line elbows inside the shoulder line create the diamond from the top of her head to his shoulders to the bottom of the deck allah taj oh, this is absolutely gorgeous now let's spring this shoulder around more and this chin up nice and long nick you could even get in a little get close to felix we don't need all the apple box you could assume just like oh I love that that's gorgeous I'm used to zooming okay from here let's bring this hand into her here and then smoke a cigarette remember let's have the floating hand in the here and see if this works not that match that's it and work that front shoulder chin up election mouth chin shoulder in a bit more cassidy it but a workout you feel like you've had a workout you can thank me tomorrow when you've got some muscles and it's like I've got nerves of steel I love this slow down felix I'm gonna put my hands into he stopped taking photograph felix, look at that. Beautiful magnificent. Okay, so this is where we use our hands. This is where we bring their hands into the box. I tell you what else we can do is let bring your bum around so you stay here with me that a girl stuff? Yep. Now look back over your shoulder again it felix uh, wonderful and this is just standing leaning on a box it is one of the best presents I've ever done also looks really beautiful horizontal the frame horizontal and crops clear looks very medium format very old school so we've got nowt we've lost transition again or is this just coming? That's I think that's one you know we have yeah that's okay look at that shark I love that so you just keep posing I want to show you something that I do hear that significantly change don't move them um that significantly changes through there and curly back so pain down all the way through kitty like where it wass okay, this is something I've been working on lately that I think is really beautiful bum back that way where it wass yeah keep going kelly back okay, I went and bought these swatches of fabric and I just want to show you what I do with them because it significantly changes your shot now this is just fun styling I'm going to throw this in this was a swatch of fabric. It is a sample piece of fabric. It cost me five dollars. I did a shoot recently and everyone asked me about the girls beautiful gown. This was the beautiful gown which who are you wearing? Okay, I'm wearing I'm wearing fabric sample by supervised downtown l a I went like that I got about ten out of mihir and I shot this like this with this arm leading here just a bit of fabric around her arm like your hand in it yeah, and it's significantly to may and you can also do this. Can you give me some frame this side? I'm going to tuck it in. I don't even have a, um clip sun's gonna put it in her bra like that. And basically I would just walk up with bits of fabric and make little cuffs and sleeves and joy and things like this and I just tape them, stick them, clipped them, pin them whatever it takes in the george beaded fabrics are the best and I'm going to pull that through and tuck that indicates cities bra life's, long chin sorry I wouldn't get away with it were you would long chin that's it long, long chin all the way to the show with the front shoulder good girl and just remove the piece of paper suit up beautiful. We got it. We got it on blankly. Ok, so they're up there. They're ending. Rotate around a little bit more that way. Curly back, long neck lift up nice and tall, which is shoulder could go get it. Stop clicking good god! Commercial photographers every time. Ben bang bang portrait photographer bang nailed it. Typical boy. More than one thing, all right, dignifying this all right, and I found this well, you know, a long past it started a long stop caring about like ok I just just the way I do okay uh do you know that I haven't changed when she tells me not to do it a little and I feel like these aaron credible they like little calf this leaves it's a coup tre mon it's decorative it's very beautiful I used them like that I use them around the sleeve I use them on the shoulder I used them on the here I use them a scarf so use them is nick pieces I feel like in every one of the poses you can ed you khun takeaway you contrive jewelry throw a flower in there changed the dress change the background change the lead change it, change it change it and it's simple and they clip on and it's beautiful and it's easy I just wanted to throw that in there. All right? There is nothing quite so beautiful in this world as a simple scarf around the stroke around the nick around a beauty look around a long neck like this I don't think there's anything more beautiful I don't mind just doing little standing that's like this long chin this way long chin this way go go all the way all the way all the way stop and uh chin up to felix longneck curly back pull your boobs back engaged shoulder a little bit more. There we go, got it. Ok, now that right from here I take this, I take it, I take the shoulder, and then here I do stuff like this. I make it work, this caf, I make pets make key pieces. I make beautiful things that this just keep going. Just don't stop styling. Once you get the pose is right, this is we start creating your magic. There is nothing more beautiful. These scarves here cost me four dollars. They're vintage scaf's. I get them in vintage stores. They always have a bin of them in different colors. I stitch them together and make outfits. I think you're absolutely beautiful.

Spectacular class.!!! This is what it is like on a professional set. Time is money and the director gets the shot, Taking direction is the key attribute for the talent and crew.. That means tempers are high, there is humor and passion while cajoling the set to work together. The energy was amazing on this set. I loved their working relationship. Sue and Felix both have their vison for getting the shot. And they got it. I highly recommend this class.

Sue Bryce has what my Thai friends would call a teacher's heart. It is hard to translate but basically means caring, deeply knowledgable, dedicated to constant improvement and possessing the ability to present to students in an easily understandable and accessible manner. "Near enough" is never "good enough'. In a word she is a professional. This course is highly recommended for developing a framework for photographers to work from. Sue Bryce also has many additional pieces of inspirational advice along the way in terms of styling and costume. A talented teacher who presents practical steps that can easily be adopted by others. Impressive!
