Sitting Pose #10
So the siting pose I think is great we've done that the only other pose that eye is on here stand up, cassidy and I'm going to take this off as I saw this coming up over and over again and fashion magazines and yet it's probably not something I would even do in a portrait shoot but ifyou're folio building you just want to create a beautiful star just move it over to camera right here. All right, then what? It wass was this it was actually in a del shea dead she's in a beautiful gown with kind of a good coach he's gotta go back to the camera it's all about the booty like the booty is kicking out it's really about the shape and actually in the shot she's in profile like this and in hand is touching the back of a here, and when I saw it, I just thought, oh my goodness! Imagine if they had the low cut back or go and sit with your left butt cheek but I'm gonna have to come this way because your left butt cheek on there and really it's about showing as much shaping boudia she can hear it's a...
bout having all of your profile this way the sacred city all the way all the way all the way it's about showing all this booty booty out boudia and you're gonna look all the way there so the camera can see your face off camera he eh keep going keep going so in this shot it shows that portrait of the lady it's got that beautiful hourglass going on her hand is not cut off from the front so that would be a no can you scoot everything half a foot towards the backdrop please stand up cassie lovely now down again all right and so lots of shape into booty okay let's do a no shot chin all the way around it's your back there go go, go and look down okay the no shot would be their arm all right this is what we do not want we do not want that arm to be cut off so we've got a couple of choices and really waiting to see it the image that I drew this from could see the arm just coming down this line here stretch this liquor and the arm was there and just relaxed ok so now take the shot again can you give me some space on the live because you putting it right on the left there also really stretch your neck around and looked down not your shoulders and keep your back to the camera that's a go and there was kind of a lot of here going on in this shot out this way well, you know, because the direction over here it's really beautiful okay, there any clips here? Clips anything you got going on? You know how I like those clippers eclipse so place some folks who continue teo asked sorry alex continue to ask about the apple boxes and would you use these? Would you be selling print that are using these apple boxes? If you're doing this type of work with your clients do you mentioned earlier that you could be it could be anything I do I use every boxes sell apple boxes white ottoman black ottoman brown autumn and wooden box you know polystyrene box tear vintage here antique tear recovered cheer repurposed here paint your own cheer bye minnie tears as you want it could be anything but a room here I don't like the black cable box on the ground back top pipe through the wooden one and I like that felix has distressed hiss, you know? Because to me a distressed apple box on a beautiful vintage backdrop like this to me kind of looks really yummy and beautiful, so just make sure it suits that matches, but for now we're just using them because we can stagger them because they hear and what I really want you would black yes, I great although, you know, once I retouched this image and make it a little bit more dramatic, then I'm probably not so much have much contrast all right, can I have a quick clarifying question for you, sue? This is from paulina and angelica gonzalez diaz. Who says what do you mean when you say engaged the feet? Okay, so, um, kept pretty like all don't move because you hear so perfect right now, cassidy like all tall girls, his lady feet. Okay, I'm a short girl. I'm in, I'm usually in a four foreign teal I have engaged constantly, I I often stand and defeat on my heels. I stand right up onto my toes kiss ity his lazy feet, she brings him back up all tall girls do it, especially when they sit down, they feed kill up by this and I'm always like, lengthen engaged the feet lengthen, engaged the feet also this is cassidy relaxed when I tell her to engage her body. Look what happens from the front. She engaged, but the kids they like, work your body instantly she's going to go into the post more she's going to engage it, engage your feet, she's going to engage your hands more, hold more tension and her body and straightaway it becomes more beautiful. All right, so in this post and this magazine, it's like that stretch that foot right out and point your toes engaged the feet and two in your face all the way around. This is the line that we want here. Sometimes you have to clip up the here or whatever, but you'll be working with a stylist or you'll be working with you make about us. This is I'm not about that's, right? I'm just going to wing it. I just got one little clip. I just want to show this beautiful line portrait of a lady. The option here was to bring this hand up. Can you support yourself there and just touch the back of the head? Bring your face all the way around so that you actually let's just touch the back of the van, bring your face all the way around and look down on you uncover more face with her it's kind of quite in front of our eyes. This way. Yeah, into that, the pose that I drew that was how they did it. And it was in a beautiful big fear coat and you can just work it. I mean, what would you say about the light when you get the lines in the neck? Because it doesn't bother me. I think nick lines and they're meant to be there.

Spectacular class.!!! This is what it is like on a professional set. Time is money and the director gets the shot, Taking direction is the key attribute for the talent and crew.. That means tempers are high, there is humor and passion while cajoling the set to work together. The energy was amazing on this set. I loved their working relationship. Sue and Felix both have their vison for getting the shot. And they got it. I highly recommend this class.

Sue Bryce has what my Thai friends would call a teacher's heart. It is hard to translate but basically means caring, deeply knowledgable, dedicated to constant improvement and possessing the ability to present to students in an easily understandable and accessible manner. "Near enough" is never "good enough'. In a word she is a professional. This course is highly recommended for developing a framework for photographers to work from. Sue Bryce also has many additional pieces of inspirational advice along the way in terms of styling and costume. A talented teacher who presents practical steps that can easily be adopted by others. Impressive!
