what we're actually going to do is dig into ah lot of more fundamental concepts within Photoshopped. They're gonna help us work quicker and more efficiently within photo shop. There is a quote that I heard a long time ago. It was by, uh ah Photoshopped educator named Lesson Snyder, and she said it basically is. Getting into photo shop for the first time was like sitting down in the cockpit of an airplane. It will take you anywhere you want to go, but it's pretty complicated and overwhelming toe learn how to fly. There is so much that you can do within photo shop, and you can be amazing in one. I call it a neighborhood. You could be amazing and really knowledgeable in one neighborhood, but you may not necessarily have a whole lot of knowledge in another area. For example, the way you approach Photoshopped as a graphic designer may be very differently in the way you approach it as a re toucher and vice verse ups because photo shop evolved into this massive city of a program and it could ...
do so many things and it can do so many things well and successfully from a lot of different avenues and entry points. And so what I really wanted to make this class was a way that we could approach a lot of fundamental elements of Photoshopped that really will speed up your workflow and help you work a little bit easier, more efficiently and more successfully. Ah, lot of what's in here. Things that once I learned it fundamentally changed the way I used photo shop for the quicker and the better. And I want to consolidate everything into one place. Some of these things are going to be very broad, very generic, almost kind of about the philosophy of using photo shop. And then some of these are going to be very specific tips and tricks that will just make your life a little bit easier. So we're going to kind of run the gamut of different ways to speed up the Photoshopped coming from top to bottom. So I utilized a lot of these methods in almost every image I produce. I use these all the time, the things that we're talking about, I use them in pretty much every image. And that's not to say that I don't use a lot more complex elements within the images as well. But so much of this is integral to my workflow

CreativeLive is wise to offer us a variety of approaches using teachers from several different backgrounds that can better cover the range of interests and background of its students. Chris Knight brings a lot to the table that distinguishes him. First of all he is exceptionally bright and has both a deep knowledge and appreciation of Art History that both informs his own fine art but also enriches his teaching for us. He is an exceptional teacher, very well organized and concise. He breaks his classes down into a logical succession of parts and appears to have a solid background in teaching as well as being IMO, a talented artist. They do not necessarily come together in the same individual but the combination produces an approach that I enjoy very much. I will continue to follow his class offerings and his career. Highly recommended.

Chris is in the league of most confident & accomplished instructors who is sharing his work flow in bits and pieces. He is brilliant. I wish he had longer and more classes.
