So I'm gonna bring up sample take really quick we've got it connected here with the eirik pads and I'm gonna bring up just a really simple drum kit just to kind of show you how you can go about creating this s o in sample take here we've got the instrument I can pull up here and sort of switch which sort of drum could I want? ou phd we're gonna tap the launch and now I should be able to patch let's, go backto sample tank right quick sample tank directly into loopy so now what I've done is taken sample tank routed it through into loopy and maybe if I want to create a loop with this somebody turned that off get rid of it it's trying in groups maybe I could want to route that first through some sort of effect obviously I'm not drummer, but I'm just showing example however you can route these things s o I had pulled up this dubbed filter so I'm gonna go ahead and open up audio bus and now I'm going to rout the drum sample through the dub filter tapped to launch this and now so now the drum sample is running through the dub filter and I can capture that with lou phd so I'm using these three aps to be able to sort of route audio from the source through the effects and into the looper so who hadn't removed that again? Yeah, you've got tons of options and obviously this is one very, very specific thing, but it gives me the ability to download a number of different aps that could be anything from a big pressure to a flander too, of course on drought any of my drum machines or since through each of those aps and into whatever application of recording whether it be a looper like lou phd or a d a w like steinberg's q basis or even apple tube or ah, ah, garageband really quick, I want to show you how to use garage band so we're gonna go ahead and drop all this stuff. I'm going to go ahead and release these aps and we'll start over. So I'm gonna eject them from audio bus and this time what I'm gonna do is I'm going to go into garageband apple's native app for recording, and when I set up a new session, you'll see that it gives me the option of choosing an instrument or choosing an inter audio app. Like I said, this is something new with ios eight, so it just came out someone who wouldn't open up that, and it gives me options from any of the acts that are installed on my iphone that support in rap audio. Eso right now, there's three dubbed filter amplitude and sample tank to go and pull up sample tank and what it does is it opens up sample tank and I'll show you the second gives me this little tiny window over here. That's the recording feature within garageband. So now I can record a track from garageband and play instruments. Plans was very poorly, um, in garage band and when I switch back to garage band you can see that I've actually recorded this stuff on dyken. Start to start a manipulated justus if I was recording it within garageband itself. So there's a number different features to be able to use this kind of stuff. It's, pretty cool. Mess around with it. Try. If you have garage man it's, a free app with ios, try getting some other absent input aps, like some, you know, organs or keyboards or drum machines, and you can start to try to mess around with some of those. I mean, try running him through different filters. I mean, basically, what this has created, which is amazing, is native app version of a giant patch bay, where you have a bunch of tools to be able to sort of patch in different sounds, different filters and use them with different dear w's. So it's, a pretty cool thing.
