Class Introduction
I am going to basically show you just a hodgepodge of cool effects and techniques. I really just wanted the excuse to use the word hodgepodge. (participant laughs) But yeah, I got a collection of stuff that I use time and time again, a lot of effects that I've come up with that I use in a lot of my, as finishing effects for my designs and stuff like that. So I wanna show you how I put those effects together and how I apply them to my images. So a variety of things I'm gonna cover, things like light effects, flares. And we're gonna talk about brush effects, custom brush effects, one of my favorite features in Photoshop and what you can do, with really creative stuff with brushes. Spark, smokes, textures, we're gonna have. And even I got something really cool with water that you create from scratch. And then I'm gonna show that at the end today. So that'll be really, really fun. And actually, if we have time, I'll animate that water effect. It's actually really, really cool.

i found this class to be very informative. the image and description were a bit misleading but I did enjoy the subjects covered. well worth the time. I think he went through the steps quickly, you do need a better than average understanding of layers and tools as he isn't always clear as to the "path" of how to do certain steps. I took notes, attempted the project and listened to the lesson again to reiterate the sections that my notes weren't too clear. also was more focused on watching the process vs just writing it down. would recommend this class to anyone who wants to step up their skils in PS.
