(lighthearted music) Awesome, so here we are. You got to follow along me on my production and get all of my tips and tricks. We had such a blast on set, the crew, and Kathy, we had such a good experience, and we know we did a good job because I'm pretty eager to take a look at all of our footage and to dive into the edit. 'Cause I think we captured some incredible things. We have an incredible story, just waiting on the computer hard drives right now, waiting to be transformed in the edit. And now it's your turn. Go out and shoot your short film. Don't leave anything on the table. Everything you've planned in pre-production, make sure it's executed. Plus some, go above and beyond. Even while you're on set, don't let your brain stop thinking, "How can I make this even better? I've executed all my ideas. Let's think even further." What moments can I see on set that are going to amplify the film and make it even better than we had planned in the first place? I want to encourage you to j...
ust always go above and beyond. If you're exhausted at the end of your shooting day, that's a good thing. That means you've worked hard. It means your brain was very, very creative. We shouldn't have a ton of energy at the end of our shooting days, because it's a lot of work, being creative is a ton of work. So always set yourself up for success. Make sure you come with tons of energy, tons of ideas. And then when you get there, leave your brain open to be creative. So go shoot your short film, have tons of fun with it. Bring people along for the journey. I'm so excited to see the ideas and the films that come to life. After that, we're gonna dive into post-production together, and we're gonna see these beautiful stories fully come to life for the rest of the world to see. I'm so excited and I'll see you there.

I LOVE this workshop - I have been wanting to film my own 'home life' movies as I am a photographer but I wanted to add even more memories. This workshop has added so much value to how, why, when, and what the process is of film-making for film-making. Thanks to RJ for sharing all his amazing information while being clear, precise, and informative. I am excited to film my next 'home life' film!

Great insights into Rj's process. Really enjoyed it all. Rj is smooth and easy to learn from. Loved the "in-field" BTS and going thru the motions live. Looking forward to more material.
