Best Body Positions for Female Headshots
Get in there! Hurry up! I want to show you great. I want I want I'm announcing it here nobody's seen this yet? But it's in the book but I'm doing my third video I already shot I just have to do a little bit of a touch up and then we're going to release it probably in the next week or two it's called hold your sub. Okay, so didn't turn straight towards me. Put your hands on your hips. Hold that stare right there. Chin down a little bit. Hold them that's. Great. Hold on a second. It doesn't want to fire my disconnected. I'm good. Hold on. Okay, hold it right there. Let's. See, should we go way back? Okay, so I want you guys to look at this shot. Is that good? Deserved your arms look good. Does that make her look nice and put together now? What's the number one place people put their arms in pictures on their hips. All right, stop doing that. All right. If you're shooting a headshot, I got moves for you. Put your arms and put your arms down. Chin down a little bit. Hold that right there. ...
Hold that like that that's pretty good down don't move now look at the arms look at the difference if we go back and forth I want you look at the difference because they're going to do this you don't need that they're going to do that you want to get the arms down but now dead and I want you to act like you're holding a six foot sub put your elbows in put your hands flat you're holding a sub like the sub camp fall now it's what it's six feet like the ends are falling off but put your elbows elbows back a little bit elbows back a little bit more right there hold that there you go good home that I want you to watch the trajectory of the arms when they go out of the frame look at the difference you see I just brought her an inch inch thinner on each side hold the sub guys you gotta hold their sub now you can drop your arms but keep him in that trajectory let me see bring your arms back up go back out go back out further now drop and turn your problems in but keep your yeah you could do that so guys it's really important I think one of the areas that women really don't like is this area the body so this takes an inch off on both sides could you imagine how much happier is everybody sure bang hold this mountain down a little bit let's go for white background on you goat give me a give me a closed mouth tiny smile right there chin and go to your goatee aside you don't like I just want to see it tilt your head towards do karate chop it tilt this way hold that stand up straight you don't have to hold yourself anymore not on this angle yeah and it depends on the thing the angle will change till chad this way for my hand hold that flip the hair off the front shoulder formy front shoulders clean a clip it off yeah I want to you know wanted to see what it looks like behind get it all don't miss anything good drop your front shoulder down shake your head like this just do this a little bit trumpet front shoulder down turn the shoulder out too twisted chin down a little but all I'm trying to do is see that other side we haven't shot it yet I want to see it tilt the head this way a little bit hold that right there slightly less misery that would mean that would be so her smile rocks right I have to find stand up straight I don't know about the double bra strap tank top action or whatever the heck that is right can you talk that sucker there we go right? Isn't it distracting a little bit like it clean? I love this month so you see how the reaction so I'm always setting it up and then ah listening the reaction and then firing and if I'm not listening like ah funny reaction or something sometimes I'll give them something to do sometimes I just won't make any sense whatsoever and just see what they do chin down a little bit hold that tilted this way it's what the oh no no don't cross your arms like this does that matter doesn't matter what you say not really not if you're trying to get a laughter you know not if you're trying to get laughter you khun do physicality things you know we'll do that later the chin down slightly hold that gorgeous tilted head this way a little bit good now I'm doing positive reinforcement right chin down a little bit relax your adenoids you're holding a lot of tension there I told this woman one of my clients I told like years ago I said you're holding a lot of tension in your ear lobes can you relax them? She came back three years later she said not remember my ear lobes have a lot of tension so like I'm messing people up with my crap turn your body this way let's go turn actually no turn your money back that way now go knows that way let me see that's the independent body head movement hold that den in right here flip your hair off that shoulder a little bit better work your nostrils this way towards the she now, until they head this way a little bit, stand up straight, good, hold that that's it good, give me a little brown pressure. Brow pressure knows that might. Well, you just would pressure, you're brown together. Look, look here, home that tilt the head, les beautiful. Do we get a shebang, and over there, we get one. We got some good stuff, right? All right, cool. Can we thank him for helping me out?
