Shoot: 13 Month Old Twins
this is definitely more precarious than I would like to use because with thirteen month old say still are toddlers and they're still movers because it's cute I'm going to try it for about two seconds if it for any reason makes me nervous I'm going to switch them out and go to that red cherry use we're trying to show variety but honestly safety is way more important and on a day to day basis one client doesn't see what other clients get so it's not like it's going to hurt shot you know hurt the sale but with two parents and guardian guard we can definitely make this happen I am gonna have to bump toe so five hundred trying to avoid that that's so silly because these cameras these days days absolutely can push the isos but because it was a film shooter for thirteen years I have such a hard time going past four hundred just because it's where back in film days that's where everything film started to fall apart well that's nice let's stay here could we move the holster all right let's brin...
g the little ones over and where's mom very good nice to meet you way got this is the one huh we're gonna be rolling here that's awesome so we're about to show you this is the hardest session you could a single thirteen month old is the hardest session you could imagine so having twin thirteen month olds is definitely you could just kind of scooch around there for a second just come stand on the floor so pop this way ladies and I'm just gonna give you a couple of pieces of information number one we're in a short time frame today so my goal is just to get a couple really good shots to show people how to do that they are the bosses you know on they're going to be very busy the last thing we want to do is try to force them into a spotter they'll get upset and it will it'll pretty much and so the way I'm gonna handle them is to try to get their attention quick and get a couple good shots and then let them out for a few minutes to take a break so they are not identical or they are they're identical okay good deal I think you're just in the dark over here give you some light their hair like darker okay so telling them apart she is ayla and erin erin so a lesson black and aaron is in rid now we have hair bows for them it's very unlikely that they're gonna want to wear them at this age it's a trickery thing so we're not going to try the first thing I would do with his much as I know the hair bows make it and they sell well I wouldn't even torture them with that for the first three shots then we're trying to herr bose and hair bows to get hair bows on it's a matter of putting something in their hands to keep them from touching their head so with two you've gotta have too things and be able to get them out of the shot so it's a little more challenging but we definitely could do it so I'm gonna work with helen on this since we're on a time frame and honestly with twins I mean even if I you know back in the day I would try to get somebody to assist me if possible alright so erin on ayla correct let's bring them in you guys are the guards you have to keep your eyes on them if this is a little precarious as you heard me say so I don't want any hi hey hey hi can you say hi like your sister erin uh can you say hi again hey your hands patty cake cake gto oh now the reason I reach out to touch them to see how they reacted to me she's fine with me she's definitely gonna take a little bit to warm up let me see particular I would also not ever use particular in a situation like this putting them up there one of them would go over the back so I just want to see how they react to this aaron what's this and she is definitely focused on everything going on so everybody's gonna have to stop moving once I get shooting what's this one since you like me tio high she was more shy could see in her face she's making sort of a grimace you want to see but since she has a sister t nicholas see if she sees her sister doing it she might come over to the dark side isat your turn watch how she reacts uh you got it we're best friends hey good girl you really got a fish how good girl okay so now I just broke a barrier and I am in can I have it back you silly girl can I have it yes she's a hunt for life huh okay ready what's this one teo I got to do it again well and I'm using all my tricks before we put him in to see if anything startles them because I'm on a very short time frame ready here goes ito's teo that's very good all right you ready should go out just take it real slowly our goal with this is back to back um key the one that's farthest from the light into the light I will need one of you on one side one of you on the other side so you can you can literally be this close in the shot just trying to watch that thie other one of you right here you each have a child do not take your eyes off that child no matter what I'm doing the second you do one of them will go to the edge so just bring him in back to back right here horizontal and just what's that just a little bit down straight on okay so remember we're going no hair bow as much as I want them ready e I know you're teasing aren't you stand right on this side otherwise you'll be in the shot don't take your eyes off ready one two yeah here we go one two to get that hand out I can come in clothes you got a good job one teo teo got it so I already got that shot no reason to put up with this and you've got a hand up so how do we get that down watcher uh always what is beautiful we got that can you clap your hands howdy oh look at some roses where those roses way have many where are they packed all right we'll see because if the baby has if they're going bye bye that was it for you no matter just pick her up in hunger since that was like she's good she didn't even mind already got it all right cool so if they're teething they're gonna have their hands in their faces all the time so so sort of counter that were gonna put something in their hands so that they won't this age they might eat that too but sorry mom okay there what's that down ready always it will give you a new one broken flower ready d'oh d'oh okay now what teo what's this what is this one uh she's smart she says I'll go with my other hand e I can get you get you wait no no no no no wait we don't even have to push let's take but I know that's funny yeah go ahead and lift him out oh you know what the hairballs I apologize so forever what's that way can but I want to get the blocks there was a cheerio so like I said in order to get hair both because they'll just take the route we got one her hands are busy what's this safety this is what's gonna happen so we got to get something in that landslide amanda's closest cost was something yeah lunch lunch time any watch now to get it away I have a pretty quick plan ready here we go ready now she goes ready what is this hold on here goes this is where this chair is not the best choice but I think we do what's this oh no slider back in a little bit more can you get it boom you go teo ready oh I need a chicken real quick somebody bring a chicken all right so don't let him hear it y'all what's this alright so the blocks work to get them oh what's that don't worry about the rose just way so we're gonna get a serious one you know I e o tio what is this tio you're so strong but one to you gets you no no no no no no okay we got it we don't have to push it go and lift him out all right we're gonna switch gears are they changing clothes all right we're gonna change the way I need individuals so two seconds I'll just get a quick shot I could do it you know you got clothes go ahead and sit down I understand a try but I don't know what I was just thinking this's where tripod is I swear to you your best friend tripod in particular because booth that rose is in the shot couldn't get it out both of them are don't take you're out we'll get it keep watching her watch her so she doesn't go back t o get a new tour that was loud sorry what's this very oh okay watcher carrie you back way go why tio it's gonna go bye bye I goes and she's got something on her from the truth about something one too keep it get it get it get here with this hand oh no oh oh I get you I get you know get a close up I'm gonna get teo teo thank you uh oh that's awesome get a good lift her out she's done isis yes exactly so helen made a good point she's now going to start with the close ups and go back so we can keep things flowing all right with this right over here on end there but keep your eye on her having a one e I give me that hand down uh what is this what's this oh no oh broke and get a seriously oh look it's broke in there we go good pull back and get a full body why watcher one teo you're going why tio let's get guys make us look down a little bit uh way we got it you could take her out all right we'll change clothes let's do matilda jane definitely way air gun address them in these so I'm gonna let helen's the master of you know that one might go together right clothing girl I'm just a button pusher all right we're done with that for a bit I don't know if there are any questions but I think everybody kind of gets the point now uh there are always questions go for it okay one of the questions that came through was from lola sophia and she asked do you notice a trend in your studio appearance wanting less posed shot wait do that in my studio more time would allow us to have less pose shots I'm trying to get the sellable images done here so that's kind of why we're kind of jamming through this so that's always my biggest fear is somebody jumps on and sees this and thinks this is the way I do everything but yeah I think I actually don't think it's a trend I think it's always been the case people like a certain amount of traditional a certain amount of candid type photo journalistic style they tend to buy traditional my goal is tio I sell traditional head shots for the families and friends I still on artistic wall portrait for hopefully for their keepsake I'm not sure what this one's for but we don't need this one so these are kind of similar from david sort of photography and sure right hunter and choices ah a lot of times I get simply with sibling syndrome I don't want to touch each other under any circumstances uh what is your solution in that case and the other question was what's the strategy strategy when two brothers don't get along and there's pressure uh bribery bribery bribery I honestly that happens quite a bit the biggest thing the biggest mistake is older siblings tend to be very uh maternal and so they will hug and grab and really latch on the little ones any child between the ages of one and twenty four months they do not like to be hugged or held because they're very mobile so when you have you could kind of see that happening when when bree was kind of grabbing on to charlotte charlotte did not want to be contained so that's the biggest thing is teo have them put their hands behind and not reach around and grab getting their heads together is a matter of just saying ok how many candies am I gonna give you okay bring you headed don't touch her though just getting close but don't touch her and you could make it into a game so it does happen but honestly the counter is bribery that seems tto seems to make your work but again it's not that I'm giving candy it's that I'm promising candy now before I do this are they do they hold on to things and stand up either of them okay oh they are they're walking you're kidding holy thirteen months now they're tiny that's why I keep I was thinking they were like ten months so that's awesome uh walking now there's some fun well if they're walking we can definitely do this then so let's bring somebody in all right so let's put her in the chair we're gonna skip the hats for a minute and you're gonna be on this side right here to guard her and cece is gonna go right here yeah they're walking chairs are awesome but you'll see this is gonna be a run around because they're gonna move we're gonna have to get both of them ready here we go quick get teo teo oh you want it huh that's a week that todo okay ready one counting is important to bring her in a little closer to the chair why just kind of slide her in a little bit too can you give me five give me five out of five ready she's like I'm too young for that sometimes it works ready oh no no it's broken oh oh thank you good bye that's the downside of walking that's why chairs were switched their positions then we might know ariel rock that tickler particular is also good for controlling are you leaving me to argue maybe uh beautiful I'm not going to push past that you gonna try for hats I got to get something in their arms so let's go ahead and take him out of the chair and and really simply I need the blocks so everything does not have to be smiling at the camera so what hats wait on the hat until what is sitting here facing in one of your hats go on as soon as they engage with toys slide him in as close as you can hit just like that hat's on let's get something in your hand ready here we go so couple shots of them playing oh good job speaks a couple hacks here we got in here sticking out a call what's this one teo way to get him looking the same places this what's this what's that there you go that's perfect dude again ready you were always a doggie doggie where's kitty kitty yeah yea ready for one more go on pull that block down qian e o reaching to describe that walk out ready no one what to pull that block down again one shoots gonna go but by but by o c u later but oh did you say oh I heard that hee wait one more choice teo what's this what's this what's this what freddie what is it oh you feel that okay this is not anything I using the studio ever but it's working what's this kid I want one more with getting looking up what is it you like it e ta ke e one more noise maker this might work here is that you can know better slide back in here we go one two slide it back in one more time like I want that you already owe always he bro wait did I take your toy run and there you go you can have it good job right

Sandy Puc, I have attended a few of your events, in person and now on Creative Live. You never fail to deliver the gift of sharing your expertise and more. I am always amazed at how you have juggled a large family, your photography business with the university added, the teaching events that you do & the genuine donation of your love and time that you give with your foundation, NILMDTS among other things. You're an impressive & inspirational lady. Each time I see you, you refuel me, as this economy has been trying. Thank you. I bought the 3 day workshop, because it is a little hard to sit for 3 days straight without life and business distractions. I will watch again, and reference back as needed. I also bought your display kit for doctor offices/hospitals & malls. Thank you again for your amazing workshop and all that you so unselfishly give of yourself. Diana Brown Photography
