Export Pictures to Animoto
With this now, it's about, ya know, color correcting and enhancing, which we'll get to in a minute. But I'm just gonna show you just how quick, say it is to do this slideshow thing with Animoto. So I've selected some images here, so what I would do now, assuming that I've color corrected them, and I've applied a preset. Okay, which is very, very important, and we're going to export and export to Animoto. Now, as I hit export this will automatically export all the files, and you see it happening on the top left hand corner. To the correct resolution to Animoto website, okay. So once this is done, I'll show what happens in a minute. It is absolutely awesome, it is so quick and easy. So once you've picked your 70 photos, at the moment I've got 51 images. So imagine, say another 30 images, look how quick it's doing it. So it doesn't take a very long time to be able to do this. This has been a huge time saver for us when we do slideshows. Absolutely. Did you have any questions Chrissy whi...
le this is. Absolutely. Processing away. Absolutely, so we have some questions here about when you're importing the images. Do you import each wedding into its own catalog, or do you have one large work catalog? Each wedding into its own catalog, Okay. The reason being that you can work with each wedding individually. But also, you're not having these catalogs that are huge, 'cause imagine shooting 40, 50 weddings a year, and it's, ya know your catalog will get slower and slower, with more information. So, one nice beautiful catalog, per job, keeping all your collections in there, and keeping it all beautiful and nice, and it's awesome. So, okay, now it tells me that the upload is complete. So 51 images were successfully exported to Animoto. Great success. Great success. So we press okay, the Animoto website is launched, and here it is, and it's loading the video creator. This is just so awesome. I love this. So, I'm gonna pick this star, which is documentary. Let me just close these ones off, for a little bit. Okay, and go into create. And there are my images already imported into that, okay. Now I can add text, and of course, I can add music. I can do all sorts of things. Okay, so if I go into change song, 'cause there's already music on there. I can navigate to, and upload one of my own songs from my own music library, which is royalty free, which is, I suggest you do. And there it is, once I've done that, I go into then produce. If I go into produce, I'll give it a name, and then I choose the resolution I export to. 480, 720, 1080, et cetera, et cetera. So we'll export to 1080, obviously, to play onto a projector, so it plays at the best quality possible, on the night. And then that allows us as well to either load that little slide show onto a USB for our clients. And give them the USB on the night, with the slideshow on it. I know I do that because most people after, the day after a wedding have a get together of some point. And I actually remember doing it for some close friends they did the slideshow the night before, then they invited us over for the barbecue the next day. Went around for the barbecue, walked up to the front door, and I heard the music from the slideshow. So I walked in, the slideshow is playing, she says to me "Ryan, it's the ninth time we've played it this morning." It was just a beautiful story. It is, because people are excited. But also, ya know, what's really cool about this thing with Animoto, is that you could pick, I don't know, three or four images and do a really, really small low resolution slideshow, to just put on Facebook or Instagram. Just a couple images dissolving, just to create interest. Ya know, which is a lot more powerful than just the steady shot sometimes. Yep. Ya know, there's many different ways this becomes a very, very powerful marketing tool. Okay, so at the end of the day, this slideshow, 1080p is given to the client, they play it, they share it with their friends, and so on, and so on. A lower resolution one, they could share it on their social media as well. Which is, bonus for you. As a photographer, to bring in clients through the door. Okay, so that's how we do same day slideshows.

WOW!!! I have started a few CL courses but not finished as I got distracted by "life" and it took me a while to get back and finish them. But these guys!! They were simply superb. I finished this course really fast. Amazing artists, they explain things so well, Ryan is such a charmer and engaging teacher, Rocco is a fountain of knowledge. I am an enthusiastic photographer with aspirations to start my own business soon. I learn't so much from this class that will help improve my photography even if I don't become a professional wedding photographer. Great job guys, keep it up. I will need to come back to the lessons and I very much appreciate the key note pdf. All CL courses should include the slides like they did here. Thanks CL.

Ryan & Rocco, in my very humble opinion, are THE best wedding photography instructors in the entire industry! I've been watching their work for years now, which just so happens to win a most grand-scaled competitions, and they somehow continue to keep getting better! I first drilled Ryan at WPPI inquiring about what made his workshop different from all the others. His response, me paraphrasing, "If you're looking for tools to learn, come to my workshop. If you're looking for inspiration and smoke blowing, don't come." That's exactly what I needed to hear. Straight tools, no fluff. THE BEST photography workshop I've EVER taken, by far. You want the best photography education, learn from the best. This CreativeLive workshop is the PERFECT complimentary refresher and companion to what I learned! Thank you so much for having them! It's not the same as the workshop, which it shouldn't be, but they ARE reinforcing many things that have slipped my memory! I'm for sure buying this! :-)

I am a newborn photographer by trade, but I really want to venture out and photograph more weddings so I decided to purchase a wedding class on creative live. Of course when I typed in wedding, quite a few classes came up. But when I saw the image and title "capture the story" I was definitely intrigued. I've always been touched by the photographs that have emotion and that's what I'm passionate to photograph! Always a little nervous when you purchase a class because you don't want to feel like it was a waste of money, but this knocked it out of the park for me! Thank you to Ryan and Rocco for explaining so much, showing the pull backs, and moving your subject and explaining why! This has opened my eyes so much to how beautiful photographing a wedding can be and not so terrifying as I've been making it out to be. I'm really so thankful to hopefully being a great wedding photographer and making more income for my family, while having fun creating something beautiful
