Why You Need a Plan
So now that we know you're in the right place. I mentioned before your safety net action plan. But really, what are the benefits? Why do we need it? I'm gonna tell you right now like this. I like this kind of casual Kulik. Why is having a plan better than just winging it now For me? Personally, I escaped my day Job took me two years and seven months. If I had a snap, I could have cut my time. I think pretty drastically, probably by six months, if not more, if I made it more effective. But I didnt have myself at the time I quit my job. Eso I didn't save every single birthday check that I got in every bonus that I got. I didn't make a plan to graduate from my certification earlier or Teoh update my website earlier. So with the snap right away, it gives you directions. Uh, it's really a blessing and a curse to be a an entrepreneur, especially creative entrepreneur. And probably let's use a buzzword, a solo preneurs, Um, in 2015 it's wonderful because there is just these, like, unlimited o...
pportunities, and there is no formula, and there's no right way to do things. But the curse is that they're these unlimited opportunities and there's no formula, and there's no right or wrong way to do things. So with your snap, you know what you need to do specifically to give you your focus and your priority baby steps build the strongest foundation. So your snap is gonna give you those baby steps When you write down start a blawg, it's gonna make you think, Oh, well, if it's time to work on my snap and I sit down and it's started log, I'm not going to know what that means. So your snap is gonna be able to say, you know, researcher platform, uh, create an account, have your you know, the name of your blawg, and it's gonna lay everything out for you. So what are the steps that you need to take to get there and it's gonna be deadline driven and rewards driven? Because I'm all about bribing ourselves. I love that three. You'll give yourself the best chance at following through. I don't know if this is because I'm a Jewish mother raised by a Jewish mother, but guilt works really well for me, and when you have your snap in front of you and you've created it, it's just so much harder to ignore it. I think right, because you're staring in the face going. I know what I need to do this week on if you procrastinate and watch your game of Thrones marathon instead, um, then you're probably going to feel bad about it. So, uh, let's let's set up that guilt and use it for good. Number four. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. When I figured out in December of 2000 and nine that I could quit my job in March 2010 I'm not nearly went into my Google calendar and made a countdown. So if you ask me in like February of 2010 how many days of work I have left, I would be able to tell you because I woke up every day and I would see on my calendar, you know, 90 days, days, eight days I knew it, and that made going toe work so much more tolerable on and really shift in my my perspective with that, So so that's a really great mind set shifter Your snap the end of the day or snap gives you the best chance of being a grown up while going through this transition. Otherwise, if you don't need to be a grown up, you can go. You don't even need to watch the rest of this class. You could go right now to your manager. Tell him you quit. Walk out the door right now and go find your roommates who are, you know, backpack through Europe or any other, like wonderful, great adventure. Some saying, uh, that that you could do. But if you can't do that, then this is where you need to be.

Fantastic course! I highly recommend it. Michelle is a wonderful teacher: energetic, passionate, funny, and encouraging. Kenna is also a great facilitator; the most natural and genuine host I've seen so far on Creative Live! Great job both of you. And a well-deserved shout-out to the in-class participants, who were engaged and candid about their own situations. Best of luck to both of you with ditching your day jobs. This class has given me the structure and several practical tools to facilitate my own transition to creative entrepreneurship and out of a soul-sucking job. Michelle shared many supportive messages that made me look more confidently at my "uniquity" and its value in the creative marketplace; as a result, I am now eager to take the action towards building my art business. I will use my S.N.A.P. to comfortably and confidently get to where I want to be, so that I don't snap at my day job in the process ;-)

This course is truly AMAZING! I've been in hyper - forward motion since the first day! Thank you Michelle! This course was honestly different then any other! It gave actionable items, where to find support, and tons of yummy resources (which if very time consuming and somewhat impossible when you have a DAY JOB!) My Day Job is actually "ditching" me but by having a plan (which Michelle gives step by step details how to do), I'm totally comfortable and even EXCITED to be DITCHED! Several items that she shared I've already been able to implement into my creative business plan AND my personal life! Double whammy! I ended up buying the course to make sure I didn't miss anything! Super excited to continue and wish everyone luck on their own creative journey! ~Enjoy!

I was one of the fortunate studio members of this class. Wow! So much great information, step by step instructions, enthusiastic encouragement and fun! Michelle takes you through the baby steps needed to form a solid foundation to get ready to ditch your day job and do it with a plan, a safety net and a support network. A common sense guide to doing something uncommon and (to some) seemingly nonsensical. The videos will teach, inspire and encourage, the workbook will make it real for your own situation and the resources that are provided will be invaluable as you prepare to ditch your day job. You will be so glad you purchased this class!
