Class Introduction
We have a a day that's all focused on how do you take your personal proposition? Your value proposition? And how do you use that to become an authority in your subject? And how does this help you make more money? Great better business opportunities or, you know, have your entrepreneurial dream, build your business again with this with this idea that somebody recognizes you as being a true authority. So we have a designated hashtag, which is called which is built authority, handles our creative life and be articulate. So for everybody out there by all means, you know we do check the twitter feed so if you have something to say, use the hashtag built authority and let us hear what you think about the class about what we're doing today. If there's three elements to this so there's an authority platform day there's a lead generation day and there's a social network state and on the authority platform day we are going through what is an authority even what does it mean? How does it all go t...
ogether? And why does it matter? Why does anybody even need to have that? The second part? In the second segment we talk about how do you stop selling? And, you know, darryl, we had actually conversations about this where you said, well, I know I need to sell, but how do I sell without south sounding like the sleazy sales person? So the idea is to stop selling and to start having a conversation of building these relationships that make us, you know, have this sort of this nice communication with somebody else but it's not I go, gosh, what did I say just now? The platform building, step by step will be covered in a segment number three today, so where we go and like, what goes into it, what are all the different things that you can use that are natural to you? We lead out what fits you, what doesn't fit you? And then we'll talk about referrals and word of mouth marketing, which is super super important, especially for creatives that are most of the time on a very tight budget. In the social network's day, we're talking about something that I use aa lot and your fuel learn a lot on how uses in the three different days that we have outlined your story. So how does your unique way off? What made you to be here today and do what you do, how does that help you sell your stuff and what off? What happened to you? Can you safely share with with the audience with over the somebody who wants to buy from you? I think that the stories one of the biggest selling tools that we have in in in our business endeavors in our careers, we will talk about blogging, how to blogged, you know, I have a blogging formula, we'll talk about social networking and lincoln for creative, so what you'll take away on the social networks day is really an understanding ofthe what will work for you because that's, what this is all about there's so much noise out there, and it is so hard to, you know, slice through it off, what am I going to use? What fit it's me? Some feels really awkward sums more comfortable, so we'll figure out what that is for you, and at the end, you walk away was going, I got, you know, that sounds like something I actually can do finally, in the er a day where we focusing on ly generation will talk about the website because I still see a lot of websites, especially creative websites out there that have a large that are not functioning that or not said for the generation or communication or engagement, so we need to learn on how to make us look good on that side so that when we when we get the engagement or the people coming to our website, what do we do then? So we'll talk a lot about that and we'll make sure that that ties in with everything else of course we talk about generating leads with white papers inside papers which is really a huge trend and absolutely necessary for you to be the authority on your on your subject and you will walk away with actually knowing on how to write a lead magnet or a white paper and we'll talk about some topics and stuff like that we'll talk about free publicity in media because you know how good is it if nobody knows about you how do you take that and amplify it irrespective fun whether you're an employee or whether you are a business owner because the strategies really worked for absolutely everybody and then it's about how to put it all in practice and then in that segment there's going to be drum roll there's going to be that you know special surprise that I have and you know jane you were here before you know exactly how I do this I'm holding a little bit back but wait there is more so there will be more and it will really help you too put everything together let's talk about the format off the workshop on what I like to do is there is a hot seat and the first hot seat will be graciously taken by you so we can tell everybody on how you last hot seat went and what to expect and the hot seat you come up here and we work with one person and you know we'll rotate so everybody gets to be in the hot seat it's not that scary, but you know, we will talk about, you know, a particular subject in any one of the segments where we really help you to find tune or identify this one thing that we want to get out, then there's a q and a that's, especially for the audience life streaming. So what I have done is I but a slide in that says question and answer coming, and it means that we now want you to go ahead and send in your questions and then beautiful, fabulous kenna will then feed me the questions, and so we get to answer a lot off what you are thinking about what's important to you or any kind of questions that are happening while you're watching live by all means do do use the chat room and tell us what you're thinking and what you want to know, and we'll get us much in as we possibly can. If you have taken my other class before the turn your talent into a business, do give me a shout out, I would love to hear who's I would love to hear who is here so I can s so I can say hello to you, and then we have a couple of special guests that I'm bringing in through skype calls that are authorities in their own right on some of the subject and that's it. And most importantly, what I want to a stress is this is about you. My focus is now on you. This is about what can we create that you can take home back to work that makes your business your dream, your idea, you just your job, just that much better. So it's, not about me anymore. Now you're on. This is your time, the intention that we setting in the studio the intention we're setting at home is what is that one thing that would make the time that you're investing, watching worthwhile, says you have a moment, write that down. What is that one thing that you'd really like to get away with that would make this a great investment of time?

Beate Chelette delivered so much value with so much style and grace that it was a "no-brainer" decision on the 2nd day -- I needed to own "Grow Your Business as the Authority In Your Space"! This is material I can really go back to and mine for nuggets over and over -- PLUS, I can't wait to get a closer look at the workbook (and start trying out the exercises of course!). Beate's surprisingly broad expertise coupled with her polish and professionalism made each day's programming a true joy to watch. She is a wonderful role model for all of us nascent women entrepreneurs -- and obviously, men will find her lessons just as empowering. Thank you, CreativeLive and a special thank you to Beate Chelette!

Outstanding lessons and advice on how to make your sales become real. The advice on how to link yourself to others via Linked-In is compelling and easy to begin. I like her advice about doing at least 1 thing every day for your business. Barry L Walton
