Great Leaders are Made, Not Born
Let's ask the question stepford how's it feel it feels good it feels it feels it feels incredibly useful. It feels that I honestly feel like I have a platform tio help support me as an authority within my particular slot in the industry. Wonderful. So if you were to say there was one thing that really changed something that you had previously believed or clarified, what would that be? Um, I think I think it's a clarification point that's looking at the media channels and how you khun feed off of lincoln, facebook and other channels to direct traffic back to your platform where you can actually have consulted message about who you are and what you want, what you mean within your particular industry? It's ok, put the message out, having to flow back in good, so being more deliberate about it and how crafting sort of that message in this brand with a brand positioning in mind. Very good, darryl so how's it feel great? I you know, I always look at this kind of content is not tough to relat...
e to what I did, and so it feels like, you know, I could really apply this to my my photography business and, you know, I know you work with a lot of tarver, so obviously some of those contents comes back around to that, but you know, getting an understanding of even the pr slice there, you know, I wouldn't have thought about having a story big enough for pr and getting an understanding how it could be acted. My white paper can lead into a pr opportunity exactly. So that it's for you, it's really about the clarification that every story matters, including yours and the problems that you're solving it's a story worth being told because you are a problem solver? So I think that's a great a great understanding to get to because so many of us think, you know, respect the confidence piece we were talking about earlier is this spy story even worth it being told, what if it solves the problem? It sure is cat, so I want to hear what it feels like. I feel really amazing right now, you know, I came into this the first day even bit of yesterday thinking, you know, I'm I'm the odd ball out, I don't know what I want to dio I'm leaving big corporation after twenty three years, I'm burned out. Um, I saw this class, I saw it on, you know, came up on my email, I thought that's his kismet, I just gave my notice, I'm going to sign up for her class I've taken, you know, the one before and and when I got here, I thought this really isn't my fit yet because I don't know what I'm gonna dio but now if you like, you know, I know what I do well, you know, I've been, you know, directing art and photo editor for, you know, twenty years and how now I can take those skills and present myself and what I want to dio for companies for people who are looking to find images that really speak to them, that I have a voice that evoke an emotion and what that can do for businesses, what it could do, possibly for photographers, you know, if they learn if they go where the money is, yes, screw the photographers yes, because you get the money part with the corporations figured out the photographers are going to benefit from your positioning anyway, because then you get to pick and choose and pay them what they're what they're worth, but and then you are going to be attracting those kinds of people, but, you know, and that's why, and jen and I will get is that we just had a conversation about something I do want you to share that, um, which is why I'm sort of doing this right now because I do think it's important for our audience out there to really see that there are real transformations that are happening when you follow the material and when you follow the course, this stuff really works and what I and we watch when you when you, when you go back and you will see yourself on the first day and you see yourself today, this is what you will be thinking this my prediction, you're going to go looks like a completely different person. I was genuinely concerned about you on the first day when I when I was watching, I'm going like there is such a profound underlying emotion that I felt physically sensed coming from you that I wanted to really drill drill down into that and say, what can we do to help resolve that and look at, you know, you know, there's a fear you're leaving a company that's been so good to you? And so now I'm going to do, but now I feel like I've got the tools and, um and I have a really good feeling about this and about myself good market, good. Did your family notice the change when you come home yesterday? Now? Yesterday they will tonight what don't people she's coming off? Yeah, john has been kept asking me sorry way we spend as much time way want how was the day like, uh, I don't know if this is from me because we may be jumped into it too soon but it's a whole different story today good. So you stuck with it good for you. I really appreciate that, john I want to hear from you how's it feel huh feels great. Um I think I have a lot of ideas and it can't depends on this next segment but right now I kind of feel like and they just hang out my hand that can can go through the whole thing and just get focus it down more guests very good and so what I you know I already am liking about this is that we have now sort of the different parts of the spectrum that are emerging for people having gone through the same material and how different it already looks like in how far this applies are implementable it is because it really depends on way and your journey you are right. So and also with your personality we talked about it that you are more introverted. So for you the information that has to be you know, like you feed it and is like t decided to takes time to process and then when it comes you know when it's when it's processed it process and it's ready for you to broadcast it will be just right but you just need to give yourself the time for the internal process and as obviously and it doesn't nothing wrong with that, so jen so you just you know, I just had an emotional moment and in the kitchen, so I'd love it if you'd just chair what you shared with me and sort of where you are with all of that because jen came to me and you know, after we had way had done the hot seat, she said, well, because I really appreciate that you watch out for may and you do you you want me off trying to save the world before I save myself, but I'm going to let you so to tell what you said. So what I'm feeling to answer the question with all of of everyone else's, I'm feeling a really large sense of relief because I you know, I've believed in myself for a long time about thinking on intentional living is that the way what what you believe you receive? And I really know that that that your future lives in belief and your belief in me lake? When and I didn't know when I when I said that I was coming to san francisco, I literally I received your email and within two days I had booked a flight got a place to stay all of that and spent less than fifty dollars august I was bootstrapping because I knew that coming to your course was going to make all the difference in the world on what the difference it created was that it created a belief in me it created a belief in your listening and it created a boyfriend and many other peoples in my life that my talent could be turned into a business and so when I had the opportunity to come here today have no idea how hard I have been working to create my authority platform for years and I have been piecemeal ing and just, you know, waiting my way through the forest all on my own and I just came here I knew that you had me like you actually had it all there for me german engineer right to my style ready for me to go and then all they're really was for me to do was show up and take the steps and I'm going to take this home and I'm going to take these steps several times over right? And I know that my being an authority in the world it's a done deal and then really truly that's out of you being you and this space a creative life creates for people such as myself it is honor and publish bill to be in the studio really the have this pr opportunity there really isn't a pr opportunity this is like this is something that transforms you in the moment with just one a wonderful setting they take such great care of you thank you. Guys really do take great care, and they just it could not. It could not be any more effortless. And at the same time, I know that tomorrow, or even right this moment, I mean, I'm a different person, truly. Thank you. Well, well, thank you, that to me, this is what it's all about, it's, about the cutting through the noise, and getting to instilling the belief in you and in you that this is really doable.

Beate Chelette delivered so much value with so much style and grace that it was a "no-brainer" decision on the 2nd day -- I needed to own "Grow Your Business as the Authority In Your Space"! This is material I can really go back to and mine for nuggets over and over -- PLUS, I can't wait to get a closer look at the workbook (and start trying out the exercises of course!). Beate's surprisingly broad expertise coupled with her polish and professionalism made each day's programming a true joy to watch. She is a wonderful role model for all of us nascent women entrepreneurs -- and obviously, men will find her lessons just as empowering. Thank you, CreativeLive and a special thank you to Beate Chelette!

Outstanding lessons and advice on how to make your sales become real. The advice on how to link yourself to others via Linked-In is compelling and easy to begin. I like her advice about doing at least 1 thing every day for your business. Barry L Walton

I love this course and dip back into it frequently. I would highly recommend this course to entry-level and mid-career academics, particularly women. More courses please from Beate Chelette! Cheers, Amy
