Saving Your Files
when it comes to saving your files here. Basic stuff. Saving the file file Save save ass. Cool thing with illustrator. When you have an illustrator file, one of the things you can do is you can save directly to a pdf file. Why would you do this? Well, if you want to send this to somebody like you're going to get if you buy this course you're gonna get this whole thing is a pdf done an illustrator, but saved as a pdf so than anybody who doesn't have illustrator can view. This is a pdf, by the way. One other little trick. If you have a pdf, you can always open a pdf up in illustrator. Right now I can save my files And here's the one last thing that's really cool is expecting exporting your files. You may be creating logos or graphics that are not only going to be used for print, but they may be used for the web. So we're going to go under our asset export, and I'm going to show you a cool thing that weaken dio with any things that we've created. I'm gonna back up here. I've got this back...
pack and I need to go ahead and use this for a Weber Mobile device. I'm gonna take the object that I've drawn dragged into my asset export right there. Done. I can then have a choice of different file types, sizes, formats, any size. I select my asset, and I export that all these different sizes, all these different types, and I can export that single thing. The best part with this is if I make an edit here, it automatically updates my asset right there. That simple. No more trying to isolate it. Save it as a J peg. Whatever. Right here of the asset export. Awesome. The last thing is libraries we talked about with the colors. When I created color, I told that I can put it into my library and they're gonna show up right here. If I create graphics and in design or an illustrator here and I'd like to go ahead and use them in other applications, I congrats this and dragged us right into my library. And now when I go into other applications, I have access to this graphic just by grabbing it from my library, drying it in where cover and working, whether it be an illustrator that I created it in, or any other adobe application. That's how awesome it is. And guess what, folks? There we are. There is the overview of illustrator and all the awesome things that you can do with Illustrator in 90 minutes.

Great job, several ah ha moments and throw in a few wow's. I thought I had better than a basic knowledge only to find out how little I really knew. The short cuts, shapes and highlight noodles just to name a few. Well worth it. This would have made learning AI so much easier than when I did. Thank you Jason,
