The Facebook Recovery: Other Peoples Content
Let's talk about other people's content because I talked about how we're posting four times a day twice are content that you're actually producing yourself two of those other content pieces I want you to find from the internet find from other pages basically that's going is going to make your life a lot easier and it's going to save you time, so you're going to really become a curator of content, basically, and when I say content, I mean anything out their photos, videos, songs or articles or recipes, anything out there can be a content. So in the simplest sense, even just like a text status update can be a comment, it can be a piece of content when you're choosing other people's content. I really want you to think that to get into that mindset that it's not about you, I know your facebook pages about you, you know your business is about you, but at the end of the day you want to kind of build a community you want to build a fan days ofthe people who who might be interested in your pro...
duct. But remember, the first thing I said with marketing is that you have to give to people first before you ask for anything in return, so give them really great content first, so when you're out there looking for content you're going to be curating like, oh, this is something that's gonna look good for sharing on my facebook page. Um, you're going to find things that you maybe you personally don't relate to or maybe you personally feel like, oh, this is a really bad quality photo or a bad quality video think about your customers. Do you think they'll like it? If you if you're not sure, try it out anyway and see if it gets good engagement or not, you might be surprised, but really think about your customers it's really, what you're doing this for them. So ask yourself, what do you think your your fans will enjoy? What do you think they would like to see as much as you can? Of course, you know, if you want tight back in with your own facebook page, right? So what I do is I post a lot of food videos, I post a lot of videos where people are like icing a cookie and that gets amazing engagement for my facebook page or even like a buzzfeed food video where there showing you how to make like a brownie and a mug or something like that means all food oriented, so it ties people all back together to my theme of food. So again, as I mentioned, even if you find a piece of content that doesn't resonate with you or that you feel isn't good enough for your brand or your aesthetics or your standard of quality tried anyway, you might be surprised your fans might like it and the knowledge I want to use your it's like you're having this person in your life a best friend or a sister in law or something that doesn't have very good taste so eso us people were as makers as artists and designers we have pretty good taste right? Like we're pretty design designed friendly, but for the most part other people who are not in our world they don't have the same standards as you do right there at the average joe out there probably has lower standards in terms of like the quality of a photo maybe they just don't know that it's not really a good photo, right? So going back to the friend analogy that doesn't have good taste, her birthday's coming up are you going to buy her something that you think she'll like? Are you going to buy her something that you like it's her birthday, right? You're going to go out there and buy her something that she likes if she gives you a wish list and it's a wish list of things that you're like, I can't believe she wants all of this stuff you care about your friend, you're going to buy her something that she's going to like, okay, so think of your fans in that way too, so when you're looking for other people's content, you can sign in as her facebook page, and when you do that, you know, go back to that little right at the top right corner of facebook there's going to be that down arrow, click on that sign in this your facebook page, and then once you're signed in, go to just the facebook home page. When you go back to the facebook home page, you're going to see that you're your own business page actually has its own newsfeed. So what I want you to do is start liking other people's pages that relate to a compliment to your brand. They're basically going to be feeding you with this content. So like for my business page, I like buzzfeed food like a bunch of food bloggers, I'm like a bunch of youtube chef artists and personalities and what's good for you to keep in mind is to also try to find pages who have posted frequent or who are posting frequently. You don't want to like a page who posted like their recent polls is like last year, because then you can't rely on them to feed you with fresh new content every day now. When you're logged in bacchus, your personal profile, what you can do with the facebook search engine is you can type in page is liked by people who like your brand name, and then you're going to find a list of different pages that your fans are also liking, and then see if there any of those pages that you could potentially get content from. I've heard that for those of you guys who are not in the u s, this feature isn't available to everyone, so only I think people in the us are able to use this feature. Um, let's actually do another walk through really quickly of how to share other people's content on and how to schedule that in advance. Ok, so if we can go back to the screen share here, place eso again, you know you're going to go to this little button up here and then use facebook as your facebook page thief this page. So this is my facebook, my tiny ins facebook page, but what I want you to do is just to click on the home page button right here and you're going to see that this is your business pages newsfeed, so you're not going to see your friend's post son here, you're going to see content from all the pages that you've liked. So I'm just going to scroll down here and what I want you to do is just keep scrolling until you find a piece of content that you think your fans are gonna like so like, you know, a video like this is not really going to mean much to my fans, so I'm not going to post it going back to the home page news feeds off my business page okay? He closed this so what I want you to do is scroll down until you see a post that you can share with your facebook page so here's a cute one right of just someone who's baking something eso videos you can do this with videos you can do this with just regular photos or articles okay, so once you find a video that you like or a photo or piece of article or whatever content it is, click on this time stamp right here and then you're going to take this long you're well that you're going to get here and then you're going to copy it let's see if I can do this right oh, is it control e yep control aim copy that and then go to your facebook page and then to your uh, to your facebook timeline and then you're gonna put that link in here and then the video's gonna pop up or in the article or the photo and then what I want you to do is delete this entirely that you just paste it in there the video is going to still stay on there so you don't have to worry about oh I just deleted it's goingto disappear it's it's going to stay there and I want you to type in something funny or just put your own personality personality into this into this post I'm just going for the sake of this just going to say this is really cool and then I want you to schedule this out and then you can just select what date you want what time you want teo to get this all figured out but what I want to show you is when you hit publish this is what it's going to look like on your page right? The only way that you can see this is a shared poll says it says up here tiny hands shared buzzfeed foods video and at the bottom you might see a little bit about kind of their description how many views they've had and that's a good idea to is that if you find a post that has gotten has kind of gotten viral so if this post has gotten a lot of views from the um from the original content producer it's a good idea it's a good you can expect that it will do well for your own facebook page because it's kind of shown that it's pretty viral is a good piece of content, right? So that's, how you can do that and schedule other people's content in advance.

I vowed I would never purchase another course again because every course I've ever purchased was filled with fluff. After doing a google search regarding comment selling I came across Creative Live. Mei's honesty sold me. I am BEYOND over the moon that for only $79. Mei provided a step by step with actual reasoning behind Selling Social. I highly recommend this course!!! As needed, I will purchase courses from Mei and the future and provide you all with my honest feedback. Thank you Mei. Yoli Rapp
