How Do You Set Content Goals

when it comes to your website, you need to start by thinking about what action you want. Your customer to take is your goal for them to click and pay online. Like an e commerce concept. Do you want them to get in touch for more information or a quote in this chapter? We're going to look at your goals and how that will influence your content. The action you want the consumer to take will define how you structure your site. Perhaps you would like to present yourselves as experts so that customers get in touch with you for a consultation, then it pays to have an information rich site with a regular blog. For example, this works well if you're offering a service such as legal or accountancy services or maybe even something like life coaching, perhaps you offer a free first phone call or consultation. Well your content should give lots of information to show how you are an expert. It should answer some questions but not all. So people are encouraged to set up a call with you. If you're sell...

ing a product, you may want to keep your content shorter and snappier showcasing what makes you different with persuasive content but without necessarily having to develop too much extra information rich copy the idea is to give all the information the buyer needs in a simple way. So they feel tempted to enter their credit card information and make the purchase when you know what you're trying to get your customer to do. It is much easier to consider the right route to get them there. Remember calls to action or your friend here. Every time a customer could be tempted to make the purchase or set up the call, add a button to make it easier for them as well as this. It's always good to have a call to action that can be seen as soon as the customer lands on the page without having to scroll or do anything, they can simply click and buy.
