2 Minute Advanced Edit On Glam Color
time for another little mixology break. We're gonna do a two minute advanced at it in this video, and we're gonna do a nice little retouch over this image that we did in that previous video where we got to this in 10 seconds by using that glam color preset and making a couple small adjustments. So let's go ahead and dive right into this and what we're gonna do is select our adjustment brushes first. I always like to start with a little bit of skin softening again. That's why they're kind of designed and labelled in that manner, or at least organizing that matter, because it starts from typically how I like to start applying them and using them. What I'm doing here is this dragon is over the areas of skin that I want to kind of soften. I'm literally just applying it over the skin, making sure that I don't touch kind of the areas of like the lips and the eyes and so forth. I don't mind that we soften a little bit her veil just a tiny bit. That's totally okay to me. Okay, that looks great...
. I can check my masters to make sure that the eyes air left alone and I can pull it out of the lips. If I got a little bit of lips covered by holding down alter or option and that's fantastic. Let's click new underground, the skin de saturated. There's a couple areas right here that have a little bit of oversaturation, just like right underneath that arm and maybe in the jaw, like right here and maybe a tiny bit along that knows. And that's actually fantastic. Let's click new again and we want to go to now Let's do a She doesn't really have any lines like there's a tiny line right there, but it's really not noticeable. Let's do an iris enhancer. We don't need an eye brighter because that light is going directly into the eyes already. But I do want to do a little bit of IRAs enhancement right here. So when a click and drop that in there, click and drop that in here. And then what? We're gonna dio hold down alter option with a larger brush. We're gonna paint that out, just kind of feather out of the shadows, and that looks gorgeous and then we're gonna pull it back just a little bit and kind of just dial it in. So holding down alter option. I'm just pulling it back and then dialing it in. So we have a nice natural adjustment that doesn't look too heavy. Click new again. We're gonna drop down to the lip enhancer. I'm gonna drop this right over and painted over the lips. Okay? And then once we have that in, we can look at the mass real quick and just hold down. Alter option and paint this off with skin just around the lips again. I'm using my mouse for all the stuff I do use a nice waited mouse. It's I think it's called the G five hundreds, actually, gaming mouse. But it works fantastically well. Inside of light room inside a photo shop. I'm always using my Wacom tablet. Okay, so I'd highly recommend us using your welcome inside of photo shop. We needed advanced control there. And then from here, what we can do is just hold down alter option again, and for the lip enhancer, weaken his drag to the right to increase or to the left to reduce that effect overall. Okay, so I'm gonna leave that. Let's see, we don't want to go to high with it. That's it. Updating right now. There you go. Okay, so I just clicked Owed is to turn that off so we can actually see the effect. So that's all the way turned on. I'm gonna bring it back. So lips are not like nuclear. Let's go to about maybe right there. Okay, Last going to do is just drop this over the nails to our minds. Will, like, get some extra color in these nails and have them kind of matched the lips. I think I'd look cool. Let's do that. It's right here. You can see this is what I love about lighter. But I don't have to be super precise on these type of adjustments because they're fairly subtle. Last last thing. I'm gonna go ahead and just use my, um, spot removal tool. We're just going to use a heavy feather. I'm gonna go in right here and just kind of fix that little spot right above the lip. And I'm just going to choose a point that's off to the left right here and just kind of drop that in there. Okay? And let's this whips. I just created one too many, and that's it, Guys, we are done with our little advance edit. I might just do one last little spot removal here. I might just do one last. I say that all the time. Just that little piece of makeup right there. That's showing. Oh, and there's one right here and we'll get them. All right, So take a look at this. Now, I'm gonna go ahead. This is the before before we did our glam color, right? So that's the very much before. So let's go ahead. And just what we're gonna do is create one virtual copy. So let's create a virtual copy, and this is gonna be the virtual copy with all of our retouching applied to it. Let's reset this one out and basically just go back. We could even use the history. Here's a little trick right here. You can use your history just to go back to where you were. So before we start adding all those brush strokes and everything, that's before we did all the retouching. So we're just gonna use that to get back to where we were in the image and that way we can see where we were with just the preset and where we came to with the retouching. Okay, so let's do this. We're gonna click on that and you can see we'll go back and forth between the two. Looks absolutely fantastic. We've softened. We've done a beautiful job again. This is another one of those images that's a perfect kind of image for this stylization. If you want to apply like that kind of stylization to add a little radio filter that's gonna drop down our sharpening around outside the eyes. So there's gonna pull down sharpening around everything else. So just another cool one that you can use to kind of create a nice little like tilt shift effect or a very subtle when I wouldn't use a very strong in this particular image, because it's beautiful the way it is. But if you want to use when you could apply just that radio and get a really nice softening effect, so this looks amazing. Oh, there was one preset I forgot to show in here that would look gorgeous, I say Gorgeous, Wait. There's certain words that I just say a lot. I'm gonna go to detail enhancer. We're gonna go to hair lashes, and I'm gonna do is just bring this over the lashes right here. Okay, So we're just gonna paint this, and it kind of deepens and darkens the lashes. Looks really nice. I'm just gonna do that over the top layer on both sides, actually, on the bottom, into on the bottom. We want to be careful not to enhance too much of the skin because it can like, So I kind of just like to feather out of the edges a little bit. Holding down. Older option. There we go. All right, So here's that final before and here is that after with our awesome little retouched job right here inside a later cool, we're done this tutorial with head on the next one now.

Cool presets, but the course is a little slow...

The importing by copying and pasting the presets into the directory doesn't work for me in Lightroom Classic.
