Writing Melodies Assignment
Thank you for watching this section all about writing melodies. So your assignment is to quite simply go into logic pro and write some melodies. That's basically it. We're to take the tips that I showed you in the previous lectures and start writing melodies, write several. They're not all going to be perfect. And then once you've written your melody, go through and change some stuff around, make it a bit more exciting, change the rhythm, put some passing notes in, just really go through and think about stuff that might be catchy. What would people want to sing along to? What would people remember? So, don't just have something that's too mathematic, have something that has a bit more of emotion to it and then write several of these melodies and choose your favorite ones ready for the next section. So thank you again for watching this section all about writing melodies. Remember to take action. Don't fast forward, don't skip until you've actually gone through and written your own melod...
