What We've Covered: Getting Systems Right
Jennifer jennifer hamilton said whiteboard in progress in my sales room, which has just been so fun to see I see a lot of these white boards coming up and creative and ingenious solutions on how to do it on the cheap it could be a simple is customer service, alicia stanley said I've made a lot of simple change is paying more attention to small but details I never thought about before like adding a basket of healthy, kid friendly snacks in the studio. One recent new more mom said that snack basket saved her during a session so it could be something as small as that to teresa merkel. Look at all these screenshots of everything that she's been doing to create these systems and her business is just incredible. I I ps our own rachel, sitting right here in the audience, rachel sent this to me look at what it is she started I p s right? Oh my gosh, that's, that's amazing! And she used to average three hundred dollars a session and she showed this session here where she made over a thousand do...
llars from from her first I p s, which I'm sure is a huge boost, her confidence, same thing with mary ramirez, she says, I finally took the I p s plunge, I've opened up my home to my clients and I'm earning six to ten times what I did before I didn't think I could make this work out of my living room, but it is, and it just goes to show you don't need a space to do this. Some of you have bitten the bullet and gone for it and got that new studio space. Don hobbs is excited that she just got this studio space that she's going to make it her own with the studio systems boot camp cherry garcia. This one hit me hard, she said. I have finally convinced myself that I'm worth it, my family is worth it, and if you want what I d'oh, you're going to have to pay, and if not, then I'll have more time with my family and how true that is. And, she said, since changing this mentally, I'm now completely booked for november comfortably, though, work smarter, not harder. Then, not a few minutes later, she posted on facebook how she one of her clients sent this a text message to her after she had sent the session prep brochure. The client says so you don't do like a quick session and edit a few photos and give me a cd laughing out loud? I'm not super cheaper anything about well, you know, like funny, trying to make a joke. And cary agos huh no don't you see I mean she basically just nipped that right now but she said this is my sandbox I am drawing the line and you are not allowed in and no matter what what her conscious told her and you know george has been a huge seimas well aaron degroot tied up george and threw him in the basement he's still there lurking but at least now he's gagged and bound which I just love so much and you know we will never get fully rid of george we are creative people and creativity and george go together it's just for any creative in the world that is the case for any entrepreneur in the world that that is the case because being creative and being an entrepreneur means dealing with the unknown and george hates the unknown so george will always be there it's how you control him and we're going to talk all about fear and george in the next segment but for now let's do a little review remember I asked you it's a very, very beginning of this boot camp are you really serious about your business? You can't remember that I ask you and I asked you these scary questions like how many clients do you have and how much money do you want to make? I asked you how many sessions a week you're doing right now and if that needs to be more I asked you if the competition is killing you do you market strategically what time do you go to bed at night? I hope the answers to these questions have changed as you've done the work over the last five weeks and if you've stuck with me this whole time chances are you are doing the work and chances are you have applied some of it to your business and it's making a difference and it really doesn't matter if you're a portrait photographer a wedding photographer babies family's commercial it's about creating a systemized life for yourself okay so let's go ahead and back and review just a little bit the course is over now what all of you overwhelmed yeah it was a lot to take in wasn't it this this content was packed jam full we have covered systems in every facet of your business every facet service marketing finance sessions editing, ordering sales, booking, branding works the organization pricing policies product in booking there was more to it I know it I put booking twice groups there was so much here that I literally people have been on the floor crying this is a eat you up spit you out and make yourself better workshop and there are people who have had emotional come to jesus crying on my kitchen floor moments and it's exhausting but it's also invigorating it makes you realize that there is hope to your business right and that this can be done in a way. That's. One step at a time, right. The walk to the mountain means putting one step in front of the other, not looking at the top of the mountain and sea and asking yourself if you'll ever get there. Right, that's. Why systems work? They put one foot in front of the other to keep it. Not so overwhelming.

I look at this course as a library of amazing and valuable content. Everything that any photographer ever needs to run their business and make it successful and profitable can find all in one place, this course. I always felt inspired by Julia's amazing business skills, she is one of the best in this industry. I have taken all of her previous classes before and never felt disappointed. Instead, I would feel more confident, educated, empowered and inspired. Every segment is packed with so much information and it feels overwhelming at first, but the workbook that this course comes with, gives you sanity and helps you to work through it. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone. You should decide if you want to spend 10 years to get all this knowledge that this course already has, or just spend $199 to get it all at once and not waste anymore time experimenting!? Your choice.

We're only 1wk into this 5wk bootcamp and I have already gained so much valuable information {already worth every cent}. Julia shares so much about how to run a business, and do it in a way that's successful, profitable and enjoyable. Have already started working on a few new systems to help run my business better, and my customer service has already improved. Now to just spruce up my home studio to make it more visually appealing and comfortable for my clients :) Thank you so much Julia!

I am so incredibly happy to have taken the plunge this evening, as I bought this course! Today watching the course a lightbulb went off and I knew I had to have it! This is worth every cent, and I am so very excited to watch the rest and implement these teachings into my business. Its time to take charge and take my business back! I am so amazed after standing back and looking at my business from a distance, of how much i have been giving away. Not only of not only my pricing but myself. I have compromised for clients that aren't right for me. This is giving me the confidence and knowledge to say no, in a nice way, and to focus on the business I really WANT! Thank you Julia, you are an inspiration! An amazing women with impeccable business sense!
