Project Intro: Create a Flyer Using 3D Models and Adobe Stock Templates.
So we just created a 3D Earth using a preset that comes free with Photoshop. You could also download 3D elements from Adobe; Adobe Stock. And they have three different kinds of 3D elements. They have models, lights, and... What is the third one? Models, lights, and... Let me just go there so you could see. Models, Lights, and Materials. So you can go into Adobe Stock, download these assets, and then use them in Photoshop. I'm going to let you know right off the bat that the models, lights, and materials, even though you can import them into your Creative Cloud library, you cannot open them from Photoshop using your Creative Cloud library. You will see them there, but you can't do anything with them. They were designed to be used with Project Felix, which we're going to talk about later on today. It's another one of Adobe's 3D applications. But, that doesn't mean you cannot use them in Photoshop. You can use them. You have to download them to your computer first, then import them into P...
hotoshop. So the point of this project is that we're going to be creating a flyer using Adobe Stock templates and we're going to add a 3D model to enhance the project. So this is sort of for a graphic designer who wants to find elements to add to a design. And if you go into Photoshop. If you go to File, New, you have these tabs here: Photo, Print, Art and Illustration, Web, Mobile, Films and Video. If I click on Print, you see all the different templates that we can download. And these are just starter templates that can get us going with our creative projects quicker. You can also, of course, go into the Adobe Stock website and you can click on Templates, and you can select the type of template that you want, for example Print. And you can find the template that you like. You can narrow it down by application: Photoshop or Illustrator. So if I click on Photoshop and then click on Update, I'm only going to see Photoshop templates. Most of these templates are free and all you need to do is just download them to your Creative Cloud account or to your desktop. I've already gone and downloaded one of these templates onto my website, excuse me, into my Creative Cloud account. So if I click on my Creative Cloud library, here, I have this Creative Live library and I have this template called "Golden Fireworks New Year's party Flyer." So we're going to create a flyer.
