Lightroom: Sorting and Ranking
I know all of these are correctly exposed. I'm just gonna go through and look for my favorite images. And I can do that in the grid mode, but if I hit the G key, I can see either the information, like what the star rating is and what the flag rating and stuff like that is on it, or if I hit G again, I can see them a little bit bigger in this masonry-style grid, as well. So I like to review them in that kind of a style. So I'm looking here, and there's some portrait versions, and then we also let them kind of play, and I think that a lot of the great stuff comes from them just playing. But I'm gonna look through these and find my favorites. Like for instance, this is one of my favorites, and I'm just gonna give 'em a star rating based on how much I like them. So I like this one, so I gave it a two-star rating. And if we went back to the other grid, you can see that the two stars are now visible under the actual photograph. And then go back to the grid. And let's see if there are any oth...
ers that I really like. That's a cute one there. I'll give that two stars. And this is great, as well. So I'm gonna give this one a five-star. That's really cute. I like this one, too, so I'll give that a three-star. Okay, so I've selected quite a number of images just by glancing at them and comparing them one with another. So now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna sort the ones I've selected. This is your search bar. This is how you find images. That is dropped down from this little funnel. So if you don't see that, just click on this funnel and it will drop down your search options. So we're gonna search, and we're gonna say I wanna see anything that's one star or above. So now I'm getting to see my favorite images all at one time, and we're gonna look at 'em and decide which ones we really want to work on.
