Shooting Manual Mode Recap
So, remember when you're out with your family and friends taking pictures, it's not just about the location. It's about the light and the location. Look for the best possible light, and if you're in harsh, difficult light like this, make sure you put your subjects in their own shade so that their faces are beautiful and their skin is pleasing. Next, make sure your exposure is absolutely correct. You can do that by using the spot metering. You can also do it by making sure that you always look at the histogram to confirm your exposure. Next, you can worry about your composition. And our composition is important. Make sure that your people are not in the dead center of your photograph. Start using the rule of thirds, and remember that internal composition. Make sure that there aren't poles sticking out of people's heads. And use internal composition to make your images even better by creating frames within frames. Then, once you have that composition down, make sure that you're getting t...
he focus right, and once you have the focus right, start playing. Remember, moments are so much better than posed images, so get a couple of those posed shots, but then let your subjects play and start playing yourself. And make sure that you all have a lot of fun. So, now that we have all of these great photographs to look through, we're gonna go back into Lightroom. And we're gonna choose our very best images, and we're gonna make these good photos even better inside of Lightroom.
