Business Sue
this is what I call that my palace ishan I have tio definitely acknowledge one thing I cross there to souse one is the person who takes photographs and illustrates and all of that and the other one is the one who makes money and creates a business and has a business mind and I became that person is I got order in life but I have to acknowledge a couple of things before I move on I have an attitude of gratitude constantly I leant in my life that if I resist it it does not work if I hate it it gets worse for me if I accept it if I live in a state of acceptance and gratitude for everything I have my life not only gets better it's everything that I have around me is better I have an attitude of gratitude for everything even the bad moments in my life that helped me realize that I could be a bit of person if I learn from them um your attitude dictates your thoughts your attitude dictates what you think and what you think is what you say what you say is what you do in your actions to find yo...
ur character your character defines your destiny that is from ancient greece it is a pretty basic philosophy I feel like I make stupid mistakes in my life I um lyn from them I move on but I'm always trying to have an attitude of gratitude resistance the path of least resistance okay if you're hiding shooting weddings you must stop now if you think you're going to starve tell me one thing if you stop doing something you hated doing and you jumped into something you did love doing your life would not only improve you would flourish because you're no longer resisting what you were doing I believe in acceptance of yourself of your body off your body where you're at if you've put on weight except it just say right now this is where I met move on because if you resist it it will get worse if you resist it and paying your debt and working your debt off your dick gets larger what you think about it fans that applies to your bank account and your ass write what you think about expands so we must acknowledge the power of the mind do you know why because I years ago I was a struggling artist I was a struggling at us that could not make money I had a really shitty attitude I always looked at other people and said I'm better than them I never had this attitude of gratitude when I learned this it changed my world and I started to make an income I started to love what I do other people started to love what I do and I put my values into my work that is my bottom line now I could talk about attitude for a entire three day cause just on changing manifesting thinking perception and attitude of gratitude when t why looked at me the other day and she said I cannot believe I'm standing here from nigeria I said I know right how cool is that she said no you don't understand so uh actually I do because I can't believe I'm sitting here because where I came from is except we the same and what I had to go through to get here just astounds may but I believe uh you really wanted to say this now I can't say it I just want to say every single person in this room in this production every person that's come here everybody that's had part of this is so incredible and the stars aligned and my beautiful friend tamer lucky who put me here and introduced me to craig and then all the team that come here it's just been so magical everything I do in my life now has become magical because I believe this anyway I would say thank you after meeting everyone a few photographing everyone a few has been such a gift and right from the moment I watched your videos and hoped that you would come he's being really incredible and you know I'll carry that with me as well so my entry of gratitude is in everything but this is my bottom line what we vividly imagine ardently desired and enthusiastically act upon the master inevitably come to pass that has been in my studio for ten years on the wall beside my bed it's on my iphone my iphone message goes off a nine o'clock in the morning and it says that what you vividly imagine most ardently desired and enthusiastically act upon mast it must come to pass so if you focus on debt your dick get bigger if you focus on hatred your hatred will grow but if you focus on love if you focus on what you want it will change for you because when you focus on what is good what is bad gets better you must believe that we must change the shift in focus off our mentality about this global financial crisis and start looking at the wealth that is still around instead of the debt that is in front of us because the more we hold to it the more we will perpetuate it again I can tell you I could talk about that till the cows come home this is the new language of the business age we've come into a new age of philosophy that is not just about creating wealth but it's about manifesting and the perception ofthe wealth and a wealth mentality their workshop out there now called wealth dynex the path of least resistance to wealth their incredible reading these websites changes the way you think about yourself your money and your work dreams come true I could tell you a million magical stories about how dreams come true but the other night after I had photographed you you finished sander you were the last of four you left and some minor and I were preparing the images knowing that we were going to reveal them to you the next day and all of the crew had gone except for nico who was editing the video and we were sitting quietly in the studio and it's a minor popped out and I was alone in this big studio here creative life and I stopped and I looked over my shoulder it's a beautiful brick wall and then I looked at this little half sit here that's sitting floating in the middle of this warehouse and I look back I thought wow deja vu so I got into my computer and I opened my vision board and everybody knows what a vision board it's when we envision ourselves in the future and we say I would like to create this and this is on my vision board okay and that says a set in a warehouse for education look at the sit look at this window no and for may manifestation a direct manifestation of something that I have visualized in my life is when I can stop and say I want this with my whole hat and I'm going to create it now I never sit out to create this sit here or this warehouse and yet here I am sitting on it creating exactly what I asked for no more and no less video is the new black okay this is the way of the future and I'm gonna tell you why I love this guy you must follow him his block on marketing is outstanding his name is darren isha and cases push marketing is did we can no longer push people sheltered people yelling people or fly a banner and peep we will come to our studio it does not work anymore he will give you fifty reasons why it's not working anymore he has single handedly changed my business with his philosophy you get three seconds to scan an email now you get thirty seconds to scan a website that's it that is the average user of your website is three seconds on your email scandal eat thirty seconds on your website if your gallery or something does not grab somebody in the first thirty seconds off your web site they will leave it you get thirty seconds thirty seconds is a long time what I do is I study people's websites I've looked at three thousand websites in the last five years I put my ipod time around and when I turned the website are open the website I time how long it takes for me to get to your gallery and you can open my website and get to the end of my gallery in thirty seconds because it's on the front page I want to entice you into my website you need to make sure that you were being fast enough you close a pop up window you skipped past commercials when you watch the show that you recorded us today on tivo yu check yur facebook messages in the ed breaking you can't solve the youtube ed who does that I do all of those things why I don't want to hear it you screen all of your incoming calls to the house in the south phone with your caller I d you even screen the people you know you screen your mother in law you know you can you can decide who talks to you now because even your home phone has caller I d you don't make eye contact with the guy on the street that's giving away pamphlets or where she take one and you've been it down the next block who does that everybody does that you don't want them to give it to you the only advertising that you are forced to look at now that I'm forced look at is the banner on the back of the toilet wall and frankly I can update my status on facebook and check my twitter feed in the time it takes me to pee so I'm not reading that banner but I might look at that image and go are really bedpost so what it's come down to his connection communication experience talk ability and storytelling this is all we've got left and how do we know this how do we know that this is working for us because facebook is about to reach a billion users this year and the average facebook person has six hundred forty eight friends that tells me we have lived in a technology computer age for so many years now we are returning back to the experience of being connected to people again so we had to start telling pictures can you get one of my cards please I just forgot to go and get it on the brake I had to change the way people saw glamour by changing the way that I was advertising it in woods when no longer saying glamour is in because glamour is such a duty word that it was no longer becoming the word of choice so I had to change the perception of the world glamour by showing images so what I did was I changed my business card that everybody has a little business card and I wanted a business card that was gonna have some impact that was going to tell a story and my business card became this so when I approach a business or when I have a gift voucher or have anything to go in it or that it fits into a beautiful envelope or that it's in a gold case in my purse where ever I go because my business is gold to me I'm a walking talking billboard for sue bryce dot com and when somebody sits there and says what do you do oh I'm a glamour photographer glamour really I could say yes like this and what people do is they look at this card and they know that it speaks for themselves and it's really really important that your work thatyour folio that your presentation to people is telling a story because if it's not speaking to a market your work is not talking if it's not talking you're not attracting bums on seats you are not shooting you're not making money what is your brain saying that is the most important part I started a block eighteen months ago for photographers as an educational blood for photographers it's not for my photography clients it is solely for photographers I decided that I could tell stories through my block because the more stories I tell the more people wanted book photo shoot with me all of a sudden I started to tell simple stories like this guy comes into my studio she's beautiful she is wasting here so it is her daughter sharon who daughter cutting the here off to donate the here fora riel here wig for kenter for somebody to have the most beautiful wig of rail here and hearing her daughter combined have got can cut off their entire here and gift this here tto one person this story is beautiful because I photographed these girls order to photograph their long here that story resonates so well with my readers on dh it's just because not because of the cancer story of the fact that she's giving a gift what she's doing it I'm telling a story about this girl and you are identifying with her and you're identifying with why she's celebrating her here and why she feels so good about it having this photo taken and why she will remember this shop for a long time as she grows her hair back so as I start to tell stories I watch my website increase in december two thousand ten I had four thousand nine hundred and thirty eight visits in december I was using a bandwidth on my website of about eight hundred thirty six megabytes and I thought wow four thousand nine hundred thirty eight visits in one month within eighteen months off using the block etiquette that I'm going to show you I had built my readership to seventy seven thousand five hundred and sixty five visits in december two thousand eleven so in terms of growth towards my brand in my business that's exponential growth also I'm using now sixty one gigabytes of bandwidth which increases my my search engine optimization and makes me easy to find and easier to write higher the most important part about this is I did it simply based on this knowledge that if you have a block etiquette off forty percent knowledge forty percent positive opinion ten percent personality and ten percent self promotion and you blogged consistently twice a week you will build a readership now I want to address one thing with photographers why photography is who were servicing the public I am servicing with this blogged photographers so I'm selling product to photographers why are people blocking toe other photographers they're not paying you I'm not seeing photography blog's that air blogging to your market you're blogging toe other photographers and I know why because you're looking for validation in your work why you blogging one hundred images from one shoot what you're offering is a free education to all the other photographers that air reading your blogged for free and why aren't you blogging to clients who were the people that are paying you why are you creating more of an online community in magazine within your blogged why aren't you giving stuff away to your clients and what do you blogging to your clients to get them to come back to your block if you're a new born photographer blogged about babies blogged about blankets blogged about clothes blogged about baby food blood baby stories but follow the etiquette of positive opinion a little bit of personality a little bit of self promotion in a whole lot of knowledge the more you give away the more you will bill's readers towards your club the more you build a community and readers towards your blogged the more money you will make just so you know used today that blockhead forty seven thousand hits in a day because I came on creative life so I now know that I can build that with exponential growth because I have held too that I am so vigilant with blogging because I simply enjoy if you struggle to blogged do not do it there is nothing worse in this world than opening a website and finding a block that is empty and it has not been updated for five or six months it tells me you do not have anything to say of any value it tells me you do not have anything to say about your business it makes me think you're not working and I'm not interested in coming back what I started to do with sea stories all the way around me in stories that's who could suddenly communicate uh what it wass to be a storyteller in terms of marketing my business I have a lot of stories to tell this is what changed it for me when I opened this I think about these women and I think about the experience of photographing them and all of them are clients I think about anne and I marvel that she's sixty two years old she's a beautiful woman I photographed her daughter victoria as well I think about the twins who are probably going to be very famous girls because they were only twelve years old when I photographed this I think about syria and I think sarah is such an amazing girl because she has this pale skin in this beautiful red here and yet she grew up in goa in india and she speaks fluent hindi and she it's just such a remarkable girl I think about bala and how she's a makeup artist and still my friend on facebook I think about maria and how maria facebook messaged me yesterday to say well you just suddenly got a lot of friends I think about mom more and how she was born and civilian and that when civilian and liberia went toe war her mother and edward tort apart because they were both cereal in and liberian and he took the babies across the border because they were at war and she's never seen him other sense I think about their stories about seven years old she was you know kidnapped by civilian grillers and I've heard her life story and it is a book and I learned this by photographing here in meeting her and it is the most magnificent story and that makes me realize that I know these women I know my client's because I asked about them and that means I'm building a community within the stories off my clients as well this is what is making may a photographer there's getting repeat business you cannot deny at this day and age with the economy the way it is that some people are still flourishing I am a luxury item I put make up on people and take photographs it stands to reason that I should not survive a global financial crisis and yet during two crisis because I've been a photographer for twenty two years and I've actually seen three uh I've survived everyone like a cockroach how how can a luxury item survive because I've obviously created something that is beyond the fear of having no income

Michael And Dawn
Dawn and I watched the workshop taught by Sue on glamour photography with much anticipation, and we were not disappointed. In fact after only the first hour we turned to each other and, at the same time, said "We should go ahead and purchase this course." Which we did on Sunday, the last day of the three day course. The CreativeLive team did a great job on producing the workshop, the set looked great, the sound and camera angles were unobtrusive as they should be, and the on-screen talent were engaging and approachable as usual. They interjected with questions from the audience in a timely and relevant manner, and humored us all at times as well. As it should be, the real star of the workshop was the information that Sue was providing, but a very strong supporting role was Sue herself. Even though she never made it past the 9th grade, she displayed enough wisdom to make us think that we wasted a lot of time sitting in school. Sue had both Dawn and I captivated, her likable New Zealand accent, was so warm and soothing, that I think we would have listened to her say almost anything. However, "anything" was hardly what she had to say, no-no, she had a great deal to say, and we found all of it so educational and inspiring that we can't wait to put what she tought us into practice. Sue's "Keep-It-Simple" approach to glamour photography is refreshing, she does not complicate a shoot, nor does she complicate the business end of things either. Her philosophy is "A confused mind says 'no.'" So her pricing, marketing and re-pore with her clients is simple, understandable and repeatable. Dawn & I fully recomend this course to anyone looking to engage in glamour photography, not just for the mechanics of learning the studio process, but more for how to think about the process and your interactions with the client, we think that Sue's interaction with her clients is her real "secret" to her success; she makes the photography session for the client a wonderful experience and that experience is what gets them to market her via word-of-mouth exposure, which is the best kind of atvertising and best kind of accolade for a photographer. Thank you Sue, we were both entertained and educated and a little bit mesmerized by your workshop. Hope to see you soon on the CreativeLive stage. Loving every moment of this course so far and I've learned so much from Sue's gentle but wise words. It's so important to be true to yourself and as much as I've enjoyed most of the Creative Live classes I've taken I've had a much different personality than many of the teachers, I am so happy to see how Sue is able to stay calm and quiet and still maintain perfect control of the situation...I had huge anxiety sometimes at shoots thinking I should be bold, boisturous or entertaining to be successful. Looking forward to following her class today in between my son's hockey games...so lucky my computer is in the kitchen and I can watch and still keep things at home fairly sane! lol thank-you, kerry www.snickerdoodles.ca

Watched 80% of it live and after constantly screen grabbing :D I BOUGHT IT. This was my 3rd time watching a CreativeLive and my first time purchasing a course. (Loved Zach and Jody and will probably buy that when the time is right...still a little scared about weddings.) ANYWAY - SUE IS AMAZING!!! She is so open, inspiring, fun, funny, knowledgeable, TRANSPARENT, giving, smart, creative, expert, unapologetic, grateful, enlightened, adorable, gorgeous, hilarious, yet still imperfect and human and not intimidating. She will make you laugh and cry as she laughs and cries. You cannot argue with her MANY YEARS of experience. She is just in love with what she does and it is contagious. I have told people IN PERSON that her online CreativeLive course changed my life. I bought another online course for 2K last year...where was Sue back then? This is worth more than the 2K 6 week course I took. I obviously have a girl crush on her! www.CarolineWhitePhotography.com
