Hi everybody, I'm stephanie human and like vanessa said, this is intro to mixed media I know everybody thinks mixed media is this whole big mystery that has to be solved and it's terrifying we're going to de mystify it for you today we're going to do some deco posh, we're going to do a lot of work with acrylic paints their very forgiving sze we're going to that gonna teach you how to use wax. We have all sorts of stuff that we're going to jump in and get making with today, so I hope you guys are excited and ready to make a mess and have some fun, so we're going to first go through the class kit to make sure everybody has what they need so you should all have a canvas. I think everybody has that we have some quotes for you. These are just some fun, inspirational quotes that I kind of picked out this project really is going to focus on just getting you inspired to do mixed media and so that's what the quotes are supposed to help with you guys should have a nice kit of vintage papers in f...
ront of you at home you guys can use vintage papers or if you've just got scrapbook paper or things like that you want to use, you can use that to your scissors a plethora of sponge brushes were using acrylic paints today and jess. Oh, we've got decco pas je a nice bottle of water to spritz everybody with. We're going to sense als. We've got our heat tool to dry with, and then later on, we're going to also be using a hot pot with some bees. Wax a nice big box of ninety six crayola crayons, because what's better than ninety six colors of crayolas and a heat tool. That's, actually, for wood burning, but we're going to use that for something else. So, for those at home, hopefully have everything here. If you don't have everything, holler because I packed extras of everything, so we should be good.

Wonderful class, so much fun and I love how Stephanie makes you feel so relaxed and that things will be great even if you've never tried something like this before. I wanted to watch the course to get the idea of it, now I can't wait to get the supplies and watch again while trying it out myself. Thanks!

This was very informative, and quite fun to watch. I liked that the instructor endorsed the idea of using items that you have onhand; repurposing old books and other items to use until you really know where your style lies. I also like that she shared the names of products she truly believed were worth purchasing, without being pushy. This art form encourages "play" and is quite forgiving if you have a "happy little accident", because it's not difficult to cover the area in question, to try something different. I'm quite happy that I viewed this class!

Great class. Stephenie is a fun teacher. I really enjoyed it and loved the idea of using melted crayons.
