Develop Your Plan of Action
So now I know we've covered a time of stuff here today and we're wrapping up almost wrapping up for today, but I want to encourage you to have a plan of action so what should you do next? What are some of the things you should focus on? I know we've covered a ton of stuff and I'm sure your to do list now could be pages long but what's the next thing that you should focus on so the first thing that he does you focus on is always think about your customers no matter what you doing no matter the content you're writing the photos you putting up there the product description everything should keep your customer in mind and that should be really the first thing that you d'oh as you are putting your plan of action together and then download the way website checklist this is also here in the coursework book, but it has a home page checklist that you've been check off and see what your home page has it also have hasn't about paige checklist so you can check that off and make sure you have all o...
f the elements it has your website checklist, which is beyond your home page and you're about page and it has a product description work should work shed where you can really work out all of the benefits and features of your products so once you go through this um then go ahead through your site and see which ones of these features your website has and which ones are missing and whatever is missing just commit to getting that done, putting it in your calendar. And before you know what, your website will be, the perfect website for your customers, it will speak directly to them and the journey that you take them on will be so seamless, and they're definitely gonna want to buy from you. So this is what I'm hoping you are going to do next. Just look through your website, make sure everything is there. If it's not just go ahead and add it. And yeah, I think that's all I have to share for today. So, andrea, how about one last question before we go out? Of course, I just thought this was we get this in a lot of workshops are photography workshops I think is pertinent here as we go out. Oh, my gosh, how in the world do you keep up with the website with all that we have learned today and still have time to create? If you have a one person business, what part of building the web site should be part? What percentage should be part of your your business that you're trying to create craft and sell it? Yeah, that's, a great question. I do get has that all the time, too, and I recommend just setting. You don't have to do it. All are months, because a web site is a huge undertaking. It's a huge process. Some people take months to get their website done, but focus, maybe just set aside, let's, say monday mornings from nine to ten a, m or nine to twelve or something like that and block that in your calendar. And then you'll know that every single monday morning, you know what you're working on, and it might take you a year to finish all of that. But it will get done, as opposed to just looking at your huge to do list and thinking that you have to do it all at once, so just schedule it out and set aside a time in your calendar to get it done. Awesome, thanks very much.
