Wireless Options

Okay, we're done with the two big hunk and menus thes next one's air fairly small. The next option here is a wireless option and their army multiple ways that you can have the wifi system in this camera connected to another device for sending photos out, or having that other device looking on the camera and pulling images off of it. To be honest with you, it's something that I rarely use, I just take the memory card out of the camera, and I plug it into my computer is just a lot faster for moving all the data straight from the card to the camera, but there are times when this is convenient and it fills the need of a particular situation, and so you consented to a smartphone, and I'm not going to bother to go through the all the details. On every single one of these, you can hook it up to a wifi system on your computer. You can have it connected up to your wife, I tv, so you can do a wireless slideshow from your camera to your tv. We talked about the nfc that was the little touch area o...

ver on the side of this. You can take your nfc phone, for instance, or tablet put it up next to this, and once you've established that communication, you khun download photos directly to that we also have an airplane mode in here so that it can turn off all the wifi stuff and unless you are planning on doing some of this wifi stuff I would recommend turning the airplane mode on because it just turns off all these signals that are coming out of the camera which are draining the batteries a little bit so if you know that you're not going to be doing this then I would just turn the airplane mode on and on lee turn it off when you know that you want to do some wife I work with the camera on page two there is something called w ps and this stands for wifi protected set up device you khun you khun get this device so that you have your computer at home and you press a button on I think it's your modem and it will automatically go to this device and download all the images to your computer and so I haven't bothered to go in and set that all up and so that is one of the options that you can set up with but you are transferring over the wifi system which can be a little bit slow and that's why I usually just go to the memory card for getting the data off the card for controlling this there are all sorts of access points and protocols that you need to be aware of on so this is going tell the camera which wifi signal toe look from you can edit the devices name what the actual name looks like because this is what you're looking for on the other device and then you could display it's m a c address that's its media access control address and if you don't like that, you can find a new address for it and then you considered an email and say hi, how you doing, he's the things that I don't I hate on cameras is all the life I stuff wifi does not like but if you do need to go in here and control this occasionally, you do need to play with this stuff to get it set, right? So it communicates with your home devices and the s s I d what is this doing here? This is the identification password and you can go in here and you can reset everything if you need thio if you've been messing around with it and got the settings all mixed up in some ways and so finally there's are reset network, which will reset everything hey back to the factory default standards. And so if you need to reset all the passwords and all the connections because once you get once you get this camera connected with another wifi, it will remember that and it will make setting things up in the future much quicker and easier

INCREDIBLE Class! I couldn't find anything on the internet that truly explained this camera, explained what it can and can't do and what accessories would work with it. I have had my Sony A7II for awhile now, but was so overwhelmed by it, I rarely even took it out of its case. It was just easier to use my Canon 5D III. After this class, I am so excited to finally practice with and use my Sony. John is an incredible teacher. He is thorough, professional, fun and knowledgeable! Buying this class was the best investment!!! I feel like I just got the gift of a new camera because I can finally use my Sony!!! Thanks John and Thanks Creative Live!!!

I stored my Sony A7II for more than a year since I've been Canon's user for 7 years and I felt unsure of taking this new camera which implied a different menu system, different functions, a little bit intimidating. Finally, I took a bit of valor, put my camera next to the computer monitor for then start watching this guide and I spent a great time actually. I'm amazed at how helpful and clear is the sequence of the chapters. It was enough to get to chapter ten to know all the basic controls and start taking pictures with an equivalent confidence of my good old Canon, or even better since in the chapter 8th I learned how accurate and easy to use is the focusing system, either, manual or auto (For stills I've always used manual focusing). Very informative, enjoyable and now I became a new fan of the mirrorless cameras, at the point that I'm considering to buy another two :D

Was so grateful to find this class introducing the operation of my first mirrorless camera. The Sony a7 series is quite different from my Canon DSLRs and I am confident that John gave me a good head start. Without this comprehensive intro it would have been VERY frustrating and I would not be making full use of the camera's many abilities! Thanks for a great course at a fair price.
