Day 2 Pre-Show Banter
Hello internet and welcome to our new creative life classroom this's day two of vanessa and robs photo video fusion workshop here on creative live and we are grilled today to bring you teo not our normal created by classroom but a very, very special location we are in a west seattle and we are going to be doing so much today in terms of photo and video and seeing an actual noc wedding so this is really truly a historic so we are my name is kind of costume in and going to be hosting today with natalia dato are you this morning I'm great this is such a wonderful venue it's so incredible! I didn't even know it was here I live in this part of the town and I've never been here so just gorgeous so we only have about two minutes of pre show banter let us know in the chat rooms if you can see us and hear us and let us know where you're joining us from robin vanessa, how are your morning we're back yard very let's just get it out of the way. What is that tape on your shirt? Well, in my infinite...
wisdom, you know we went through this whole process before creative live about, you know, making sure we have copyrights for everything that we show low goes and this and that and I was just so proud of the fact that I actually got the tour of the skywalker ranch over what was it back in march? I guess it was right after w p p I and it was so cool. Go on. I bought a shirt there and I wear it like, almost every day, and I totally forgot that it has a logo that we did not have. I don't think george lucas would be very happy e don't know that was my take about a year, although we do have amazing produce. Cern's yes, that's, right? But it said skywalker sound is gonna lucas film company. So what we have is this is this is standard production gaffer's tape black, just blacking out the logo. So rather than pixelated right now, we could use this as a teachable moment. What is gaffer's tape? Gaffer's tape it's duct tape, basically for tv productions. So, it's, just take a cloth. Black tape. That's used tio take down wires, and I bet I'm actually wearing gaff tape on my back right now. The wire from the microphone in place. So it's got all these different uses, just like gaffer's tape does or duct tape does in your home gaffer's tape is to a tv set what doctor is to the home? Always something good to have around, so it is almost nine o'clock, but I wanted teo quickly, quickly go through and introduce our in studio audience, you guys all the very lovely today we're all dressed up for the wedding that we are here, so go ahead. I'm ashley williard, I'm from olympia, washington, and I so enjoyed yesterday I went home and I just what has been asked me what I learned, and I think he was sad that he asked me that afterwards because I just kept talking and talking and not talking talking, but I am so very excited to do this today and watch he said, to go home and for my husband again. So you're saying that my name is gabriel and my wife, my woman, right? Actually, I guess it would be the whole organizing, like how you were doing the recall, charming idaho shots on a secret meeting in the sequencing there yet and that's something that I'm well definitely use next time because, like, out when I should, you know, I don't I just can't say there and shoot for a while, you know, and then try to work with that, but I just it just gives that a whole new dimension to a a not so great hi, I'm jen dispirito from vancouver, b c and my big takeaway was using the shutter speed. Teo, get the look that you want from your video. I'm a shaky shooter on a good day, so I usually have my shutter speed crank, so I realized that was probably a huge reason why I wasn't getting a lot of the look that I wanted, so I really appreciate it that you think I'm liz young, I'm from birmingham, alabama, and I'm a dog photographer and my takeaway yesterday wass practice makes better, I think I'm going to have to practice a lot. This is switching back and forth is really takes a lot of intense concentration, and I'm going to need a lot of practice, so but I loved it. Yesterday was great. I'm jessica fontaine. I live in keizer slaughter in germany and my favorite part about yesterday was watching vanessa actually photograph and video it just put it all together, and it was great, fantastic that's great. A lot of the time, it really just does take just seeing it actually happen in front of you. For me, when I was learning cinema, that was very much the case. It was just like, once they saw somebody doing it the way I wanted to do it with all the lights went on. Yeah, well, we're all visual learners. So that way, we learned that's. Why this is so great on creative live. We can weaken visually, learn all the things instead of just listen to it or read it.

Worth every penny and then some! i just purchased the course and can't stop watching it. I normally don't give such high praise, but these guys turn out a very high end product and are so efficient with their workflow. The class was so full of information, they walk you through the process step -by-step, and take the fear out of photo and video fusion. I can see how the thought of adding video to your workflow can be intimidating, but Rob and Vanessa do an amazing job of simplifying the process and showing you which programs and scripts will make your life easier. This is THE photo and video fusion course to buy if you are contemplating adding video to boost your sales. Great job and thanks to Creative Live for finding such great instructors!

They were good as 'teachers'.Well organized. Rehearsed!! but they are also good at selling. I think this whole course was a big Ad campaign in a way for their sponsors like Animoto and especially for Their actions!! It actually turned me off. Felt like they were trying to sell me something- A live infomercial. Nothing against their work though. They gave you just enough info and tips but the rest really depends on their fusion actions and your skill. They Definitely get you excited to create your own though!

Excellent presentation. In your presentation you modeled appreciation, support, affirmation and humility in a way that was inspirational. These characteristics together with a depth of knowledge in your topic area gave it huge integrity. Thanks!
