Leveraging Fiverr Sellers to Improve your site's Conversion Rate
congratulations, You've almost made it to the end of the course. We've gone through so many different strategies and tactics that you can implement today to improve the conversion rate for your site or app. But you might be asking yourself if you're, especially if you're a small business owner, how am I going to get all of this done? Well, drum roll, introducing fiber, fiber is just a great way to higher fiber sellers or freelance talent to really help you accelerate all the different things you need to do in order to improve conversion rate for your site or actually any other marketing project that you might have on your plate. So today I'm going to share with you and just gonna pop over to this presentation quickly. Just some of the best practices for me when I work with fiber freelancers, how I work with them, what I do and how I approach it and hopefully you find that helpful as you start working with a freelancer yourself for a conversion rate optimization project or something els...
e. So the first thing that I always ask myself and I would encourage you to ask yourself is what do I want to do myself? What are the things that I'm passionate about that? I'm really good at that? I really just want to handle myself versus what are the things that I want to delegate, once you have that really clear in your head, what do I want to do versus what am I okay to give to someone else? It makes it really easy for you to put together a list of things that you would be happy to hand off to a fiber freelancer, We went through so many different tactics in this course and most of them actually you could hire someone in fiber to handle for you but I pulled together a list of 10 things that I think are just sort of no brainer things that a five or freelancer can really help you with. The first one is to build a website or a landing page, you again something you can do yourself or there are a myriad of freelancers on fiber that can help you that can help you do that. The 2nd is improving your site speed. We went through google page insights, you saw that some of the optimization recommendations that they provide are a little bit technical, I would consider myself a semi technical marketer and still some of those things are really hard for me to implement myself. So hiring someone from fiber who was a bit more technical can really understand how to change and improve your site speed. It would be really valuable translating your site. This would make it more accessible to more people, especially if you're operating on a global context, creating social proof content. You could hire a freelancer on fiber to interview customers for example or interview people who have used your product and get quotes that could become social proof that help improve conversion rate for the landing pages on your site, installing google analytics. This is a really popular use of fiber and google analytics in general is an area where fiber freelancers can really help. We went through some basic reporting in google analytics. I also showed you some pieces of the e commerce suite. You could, for example higher or Fiverr freelancer to implement the e commerce suite and google analytics for your site, creating a B test copy if you like A B testing, which I hope you do. You're going to need a lot of copy in order to have a lot of different tests running, especially if you're running multiple variables. You might also need different types of creative freelancers on Fiverr can really help you create all those different versions to ensure that you're always a B. Testing different elements of your landing pages and your site, photography and illustrations. These are elements of landing pages and websites. There's a bunch of really talented photographers and illustrators that can create really cool designs for you on fiber. Making your site more accessible. Conducting user research is a great use of fiber. And then finally this last one is um I added as a just sort of a bigger item to illustrate that you could hire a fiber freelancers to do a very a smaller project like creating a B test copy for example, but you could also say you know what I actually just want someone to do a whole page audit for me to sort of find find recommendations in ways that I could improve my landing pages. That's not how I've used fiber freelancers myself, I mostly do the audit myself and define the strategy myself. And then once I identify the tactics that I want to pursue, I find people to help me with them. But you could also hire someone to do the strategy for you if that is your preference. Okay, finally the tips, my tips for working with fiber sellers or five or freelancers successfully, the first one is paying attention to reviews and labels. It's really important. You want to work with someone who's qualified and who other people have had success working with. So read the reviews and pay attention to labels such as fire or pro contact before you hire. This is probably my number one recommendation. Sometimes when you're scrolling through fiber, you'll find someone who does really cool stuff like really cool illustrations or something and you'll want to contact them and hire them immediately. You want to hire them and pay them immediately. My recommendation is that you contact them first and you explain a little bit about what your projects about so that they can get an understanding of what you're looking for and you can ensure that they're a good match for your objective. I sometimes will put all the information down in a slide deck or in a document that I can share with them and that way you have some kind of brief that you can share to make the communication a little bit better and make sure that the expectations are set and aligned on both sides. Three provide very specific direction and examples. This sort of goes with number two. As I said, I use google docs and pull together my specific direction in there. You can also use any other, any other way that you prefer but be as specific as possible I think is my main point here. Save your favorite sellers. Sometimes if you're scrolling you'll find people that you might not be working with right now because you don't have a project for them but you might want to do so in the future save them. And if you work with someone that you really like, save them um we find that typically people go back to the same sellers are the same freelancers over and over again with more projects and then finally don't limit yourself to one person per project. If you have a landing page optimization project for example and you need copy, you need illustrations, you need someone to help you with a B testing, you can hire different people to do different pieces of that project. So don't limit yourself to just one. The fiber community is so vibrant, definitely take advantage of it and hire as many people per project as you need to ensure that you get the job done as you want it done and with that those are my tips for working with fiber sellers to achieve your objectives of improving conversion rates for your site.
