Bring Back Old Refine Edge Tool
with the newer version of Photo Shop. A lot of people were maybe upset to say the least, that they got rid of replying edge. I personally, like, select the mask case, but a lot of people don't like the new selecting Mike Space. And just to show you guys what that is when you make a selection, um, you can adjust sense election by clicking on selected mask. And this brings up the selected mass space that allows you to refine that selection. I can change the views to marching ants or overlay or black and white. It really doesn't matter. It's up. Depends on what what you're doing in photo shop. And you can adjust the smoothness this election. You can feather it, make it blurrier. You're gonna just the contrast. You can shift. The issue can do all kinds of things. You could also do this with the old refine edge, which is what a lot of people prefer that somebody here prefer financial. Supposed to anyone you think you kind of do. Yeah, all right. I have it right? Yeah. So a lot of it. That's...
the problem. A lot of people say that they're just so much used to the older tool, and they don't really like the new one. So there's actually a way of bringing back the old one that again, For those of you who were in my earlier class, I said, I don't be like, so hide stuff. So it's in there is just hidden, so I'm gonna show you how to bring that back. So if you have a selection active, let me do that again. So we have this election active, and I can click on select. There's Selected mask, and if I hold the shift key and click, it brings up the old one. So people like you're gonna be happy that the old one is back if you want it to be. Unfortunately, there's no tool or check box or option in the menu that allows you to make that a default. But you can always remember Hold down the shift key and bring it back if you need it.

Overall Photoshop Week 2017 has some amazing instructors for workflow & compositing. Jesus Ramirez has the unique ability to combine simplicity with really useful depth: blend modes, different approaches to selection or combining different tools. This course covers a lot of tools and there are a number of ‘wow! didn't know that!’ moments a more advanced user will love.

Yeah yeah, Jesus Ramirez is a great instructor and this class is packed with useful tips and even some fun ones that might not be so useful. But it was that one about using two windows from the same document that changed my Photoshop life.

Jesus is excellent! full of knowledge and provides a lot of helpful tips in a clear and easy to understand way. Only thing missing are captions for this class, for some reason. Otherwise, I wish there were more classes like this one.
