How to Use Photoshop Search
this next one is really cool. Um, it was added, And photoshopped cc 2017. If I'm not mistaken and it's called photo shop searcher, you get familiar with it. All right, that's gonna even more fun than, uh so a lot of the things that I've been showing you you're probably writing down or you're making mental notes. But, you know, you may lose your piece of paper or you may forget or you just made remember one word, and you're like, Oh, yeah, there was that one thing like, what was that one thing called what Photoshopped has search. And if you press command F control F on the PC, it brings up the search window for photo shop. Now, in older version of the photo shop command F was reapply the last use filter That's no longer the case. So if I go into filter render clouds, that's the filter that apply. But if I go into filter, the first option is to reapply the last filter notice. Now that that is no longer just command F now is command option F. So it just adds an extra key. So for those of ...
you that are used to the old keyboard shortcut. You're gonna have to forget it, cause now it's for search. Eso command F control have to search, and you can search, um, three things. You can search Photoshopped tools and features and filters and menus. You can search tutorials from, uh, help ex dot adobe dot com in, um, assets from Adobe Stock. So if I were to type the word beach, I would get probably images of Adobe Stock Beach photos. But that's not really what you probably will be using it for. In most cases, you might use it for something like exposure. You know, there's an exposure somewhere in there. There's a tool. There's not just meant, you know, there's something there, so notice how there's this exposure. Ah, layer. So it's found the layer. That was when we did the example with the shadows. We used an exposure adjustment Layer had found that it's also telling me that there is an image adjustment exposure that we can apply. There's an adjustment layer called exposure, and there's also the camera raw filter, which you can adjust exposure in there so it gives you all the different things that include the word exposure in there and also gives us a tutorial and exposure once again in help ex dot adobe dot com And these adobe stock images or assets have the word exposure and somewhere in them. And the cool thing is, if you select something like, I don't know, marquee tool, I guess. Elliptical marquee tool. For example, if I selected it, highlights that here on the side, see how it turned blue in it, and it selected it so you can select your tools, menus and everything from Adobe from photo shop search. And another cool feature about photo shop Surge is that you can have something like retouching and photo shop. Smart enough to know what tools will be good for retouching. Overall Photoshop Week 2017 has some amazing instructors for workflow & compositing. Jesus Ramirez has the unique ability to combine simplicity with really useful depth: blend modes, different approaches to selection or combining different tools. This course covers a lot of tools and there are a number of ‘wow! didn't know that!’ moments a more advanced user will love.

Yeah yeah, Jesus Ramirez is a great instructor and this class is packed with useful tips and even some fun ones that might not be so useful. But it was that one about using two windows from the same document that changed my Photoshop life.

Jesus is excellent! full of knowledge and provides a lot of helpful tips in a clear and easy to understand way. Only thing missing are captions for this class, for some reason. Otherwise, I wish there were more classes like this one.
