Um I just asked or into landis tummy so he's completely the other direction and look at him right now hey sauron can you lay on your tummy and with your arms out towards me this way and eva's doing everything sauron's doing which is going to make this an easy thing here we go you ready? You're gonna your train right there and there she goes she's just following right along pretty awesome okay let's put your elbows together right there can you put your elbow right next to sauron's and there holding hands and being very sweet eva can you put your head over by sauron o nays hey soren do you love that sister yeah, I bet you're pretty big good brother good big brother yeah what do you think that is what you think it's a big light isn't it? Oh, right there, okay kaveh, can you clap awesome and I'm just trying to get her hands back together to asking her to club eva where's your giggles I might come get I'm gonna get to get off I love that face miss eva where's minnie mouse and again I'm always getting get the younger one by herself first because he's going to be easy sometimes it's the other way around you never know but oh what happened many mass where is that many mouse let's see I think that she would like to think she'd like to come sit up here huh do you like that many mouse she's ready to be out of that thing I like it alright okay sauron can you come over here so did you know at that point lori that she was done just shattered turner pulling her dress off and uh you know and I think we all try in the beginning were all like so worried about way have to have so many things and so many right things that we just you know it's hard to stop and so that's one of the good things about an event is it puts a rule parameter on your time and so it's like going back to the film days when you shoot a roll of film and you're done you no good anymore twice so now I'm just gonna get some of summer and by himself can you stand up I want to see this pockets again what's in there have any money any money in there? No all right. Batman jeans I've never seen that man genes you found him at the store you think they'd have him in my size? Only the boy once and I'm a girl batman you sit on this big red ball and right now we got a sweet close up of eva so I just want to him in one spot to get a close up maybe okay, sit back on the ball one more time can you hop up there what's that starting on the outside, isn't it not that one yeah, you did it are you balancing? Hey sauron will you will you sit up on the ball and then I needed to ask you a question you can bring it back out here out here out here good job okay, now even wants him there to uh sauron can you stay right there and we're gonna bring eva around that around here so she can we can see her and she doesn't have to sit. She can just stand there and try it if she wants a good job. Guys okay, now here's my question are you ready? My question is can you see yourself right in here? Can you look right here? Can you see right in here? Yeah it's your grandpa on there you see many mouse? Yeah all right awesome you guys hey sauron can you give me one big smile? Okay, good job. Hey, practice that one okay can you give me five blue right either she can try to climb out there be very careful I think I caught that one. I'm gonna delete it you gave me a cheese er I saw that all right you want to get your minnie mouse? Yep alright where is like well you won't mind us again what you're going for in terms of how many shots of the two of them together how many like wides and and close the home um I am actually always going to start with the two of them together but sometimes I don't get anything of the two kids together the three kids together how many it is but we'll start that way so that if there's one or two fantastic um but I don't dwell on it they did great and so we got quite a few but I really I want to know that I have one really great shot of each of them close up faces I want out takes for the smaller prints and the books and then I want a great shot of the two of them the rest of them are there, you know they're going to be fillers and that's exactly what I want them to be I want them to be them doing stuff digging in the pockets looking down looking off scene eyelashes you know, just all those little moments and I think a lot of times when we get super worked up about the session or the kids not being what we want to call perfect then we miss a lot of those moments and so I just like to shoot them and I like to show them to I think that's what mom like so so that's what we're doing and that again that went pretty quickly but I would be happy with that in a session I feel like we got what we needed hey good job all right so and I was I just realized I did do a little bit of editing and camera but it's not gonna matter because they're automatically loading all over there so they're all going to be there anyway so we'll edit through them again normally um I would try to edit as much as possible during the session and I wasn't editing as much as possible but the few that I did we're going to see anyway so you'll get to see what I would normally add it out well great so we're ready to send them back and we want to transfer over over here and then already asked some questions for you okay I don't want to hear over there um here you okay? We're gonna do right here all right uh so question did you yeah yeah if you're you know if you're do you d'oh such like regular sessions in people's homes air you on lee ever doing events in people's homes I only do well I'm yeah not never I do do location sessions also I also have pockets of clients in minnesota in chicago and kansas city and different places where I'm going but I'm whenever I do that I do more than one session even if it's not an event so it's ah yeah I'm working people sound as well the reason I ask is because um you said that you don't usually like the mom hovering and I was just in a very similar situation where I was doing it in home and both parents were just very there and it was it was a little bit more pressure and s so where do I put him? Where do I tell them? Well if the families are going to be there I would tell them that they're all going to be photographed and so I want to start with a family session and do that first and then let it break down from there and let mom and dad go relax go do your thing and by that time they're comfortable with me and I could just play with the kids and run around and let the mom and dad go relax so for a regular session when we're not doing an event it's not going to stop here, you know, I'm gonna go over to the couch and I'm gonna let him play on the couch and I'm gonna get up high and shoot from another angle. I'm going to do some different things when we're doing an event, we really just want a nice siri's of images, and I'm really looking for the main images that are going to end up being the wall groupings and then in the albums, you know, I mean, it really is very storytelling it's just them being them, but I want it all to flow together and that's, why it's one out that one background that needs to be quick we're shooting were selling so it's all very simple. Um, and again, you know, we've we've pre programmed thes mom so much before her, they get teo uh, where we're sitting down, I've actually told them what I'm going to be shooting for, and so by choosing so the one outfit and one location we let them know here's here's what I'm going after, and so they're not concerned either when they're saying just crazy kids being crazy kids, you know, that's just the way it always goes.
