Distressing the Tray
So this is just like a medium grit, sandpaper, there's, nothing special about it at all. And I just take it in kind of rubber over the edges and had a little bit of stress. And just bring back a little bit of that wood. And I just like that adds a little bit more texture and depth to the peace, rather than it. Just seeing that flat brown paint gives it a little character, and you can pick off a cz much or as little as you want. If you like it, the way that it is, and you don't want to distress it all. You know, I just kind of like the way that it looks when I sign so.

This class was wonderful. I enjoyed Stefenie's teaching style and that the entire project (except the paperclay pieces, which needed drying time) could be completed in just a day. She introduced many media that were new to me. I would never have accomplished so much in such a short time without her inspiring project and encouragement. I completed my first shadow box two days later. I will watch any class Stefenie teaches at CL!
