How to Control Shapes By Reflect Skew and Rotate Tools to Create Complex Shapes

in this lesson using reflect skew and rotate tools. I will show you how to transform shapes to create complex images. First I started with rectangle tool to create this type of rectangle and using direct selection tool and edit the shape and make sure the shape is selected. I use reflect tool, click the center for and start moving the shape to create a reflection image at the same time. I hold down shift and option key. Now I select both of the shapes and go back to reflect tool and now I said the center of the reflection right around here and again holding down the shift key and option key will make something like this. So this is a simple duplication from one original shape but combined with reflection tool you can create quite complex shapes. Now when I have this rectangle and I used this cute tool set the base of skew point right here in moving the other side of the rectangle and before I let go I hold down shift and option key. So I edit the original shape too. This cute image but...

at the same time I keep the original shape and they're using transform again function and hit command D. Or control the to repeat the process in this way you can create a very organic, interesting repetition of the pattern. This was an example of using skill tool and also I created this square. Now I'm using the rotate tool first I click to set the center of rotation somewhere around here and I will start moving the shape. Now I'm holding down the option key at the same time, then I moved the shape. Also I duplicate the shape at the same time and I will hit mandy or control D. Then I can rotate the same. Also duplicate this way to create very complex shapes. Also, if you look at this circle and I can be more precise with this rotation and duplicate movement. I select the rotate tool and this time holding the option key and click on the bottom of the circle. Then I will have this window show up and I can specify the particular angle to move as an example. I will set the angle as 12 degrees and instead of saying okay I will click on copy and then original circle was rotated to 12 degrees at the same time. It makes the duplication of the original circle using your keyboard, hit command D until the circle goes all the way around. This is a really good example of studying something very simple, which is only one single circle but utilizing rotate tool with very precise movement, we can make this type of very complex shape very easily
