what a couple of days three days huh here we are can you believe it we're here and we have reached the point where we need to wrap everything up and we need to bring it all together and I think that this is a great point to bring us back to the original definition of content marketing that was the original point of the course content marketing is the marketing and business process for creating and distributing relevant and valuable content to attract acquire and engage a clearly defined and understood target audience with the objective of driving profitable customer action it makes a lot more sense now than it did in the very beginning doesn't it it comes together and creates a much broader scope for our business as a business now we have a direction that we can go and we have a focus that we can land on we understand what content marketing looks like what it looks like fully fleshed out what it looks like our business our specific business and so what you have to do I mean I would rec...
ommend you really pin this on your wall you know put this up in a place you can look at it over nothing because kind of a mouthful it's a lot of definitions it's a lot of words there and so what we want to do is take that definition and apply it to your business in your own unique way that's what content if it's just a process that has no personality then it really is nothing more than being all things all people you want to develop this out so that it matches your unique and authentic brand so just taking a process means you're gonna be talking as if you're speaking to all people a photographer in the northwest that's all I am but you're so much more than that and so you need to surround yourself with the tools that we've given you in the last three days to bring those things toe light so let's go ahead and kind of put the finishing touches on it so I wanted to circle back on something that we talked about yesterday and then talked about this morning that's the idea of all of you guys here in the studio building a guide I hope ah lot ofyou followed along as we assigned that homework out and what we've done is actually put together a little bit of a surprise for you so what we did is is thank you to everybody here in this instant audience who put together a guide about thousand words is the homework assignment we're able to go through those today live on air and talk about each of them and I four did afforded one of them over teo our marketing team over it she got at it and kevin put together a designed guide for one of you and I really want to share it with you guys so that not only you but the entire audience khun see that once you get this process started how simple it is once you do all the legwork how you can produce something that is amazing that khun solve your customer's problems you can create a piece of content that can be delivered in a man and it's gonna elevate your brand and going to solve problems and so I'm happy to show you guys the content that's delivered in a man it's going to allow you to be clear to be informative to build that brand trust beautiful photos by the way and so this is again just about a thousand words fleshed kevin figured out a way to make sure the link all that stuff up so we'll get that to you congratulations very well done to all of you guys on your homework and I'm putting together a guide like that I mean normally you're gonna get a little more time that but again there's power in that the arrest was just a great example of the fact that you can do this stuff really quickly maybe more quickly than you thought yeah and that's what I want to finish with that's exactly I want talk about content marketing and the tipping point I'm sure that right now feels like you're staring up mount everest you have a mountain of work ahead of you this is what it feels like there's so many things that you want to do to change and you change the way you mark it and I know that that's been the sentiments of so many people here in the studio it's like oh my gosh if there's one thing I've learned in these three days if there's one thing I've learned in this course it's how much I have to do and I want to encourage you guys I really want to encourage you guys because content marketing and the marketing plan for your business it begins to pick up momentum this is the hardest spot right now yes you have a lot of work ahead of you no doubt about it but you know what when you start pushing that ball down the hill it starts to pick up momentum now if you stop pushing that ball it stops but they're hits a point there hits a point where it starts to pick up momentum on its own and you know what that's exactly the power of this process is that it begins to pick up a momentum on its own when you start blogging when you start blogging consistently now you have content that you could make guides out of when you start instagramming consistently with your image is now you have content for your pinterest page when you use all the images from your block to cross share across your facebook page now you have plenty to talk about on facebook when you build guides you now have reasons for clients to go out and spread your message and you create more true believers more true believers creates more referrals more referrals creates more opportunities for you to grow your business you tie that all together with a wealth thought out and well put together system that buttons all these things together and creates a manner in which you don't have to stress about all the little details and you finish that by partnering with specialised in your business that allow you to focus on the things that only you can do the things that bring you profit and the things that allow you to grow your business through marketing is on uphill battle right now you are staring right up at mount everest I get it I just saw the actual look up that's awesome and it is going to a lot of work there's no doubt about it there's going to be a lot of work but here's the thing you begin to pick up momentum it's not always going to be as much work as it is today today is the start of it and I want to encourage you to do it would encourage you to go for that we have our business recipe this is the model that creates success in today's environment things aren't the way they were ten twenty years ago were staring technology better than ever were staring right at it we're staring at the fact that anybody anybody anywhere can walk into a costco a target a best buy and buy an amazing camera and lens for next to nothing and they can become photographers right away because those cameras are so good social media has made it so that all I have to do I could go home right now and by the end of the evening have a beautiful website put together launch it on facebook to all of my friends and all of a sudden all three thousand friends of mine all four thousand friends of mine all three hundred friends of mine they know that I'm a business and they're talking about me and they're sharing and spreading the word this is what we're up against and so that is why you have to put together a business that starts by building are authentic brand if you you seen I'm not just talking rhetoric you've seen how powerful and authentic brand is in everything you do it makes your life simpler it makes this process easier now that doesn't make it easier but it allows you to work with people you're in you're excited about and it allows you to attract people that will pay you what you're worth that's the recipe to getting people to work with you that you want to work with and it will value what you're putting together because they lean in they self actualized they say yes that's exactly what I'm a part of I want to join what you're doing I want to be a part of that and I want to be a part of the business that you're that you're running I want to be one of your customers because of what you stand for because of the authentic messages that you are creating you then have to deliver the content you're already producing you deliver that content to deliver that message that's how you are able to get that message out there you start by putting on your website but then use content social media and all these tools that we've talked about the last couple of days to deliver your message deliver the message the right message at the right time to the right person with the right medium and you have to do that over and over and over again the good news is as we saw you can start to have it all we've together you created great system for it and it starts to weave together and that's what we talked about today today was all about oh my goodness how do we make all this a part of what we do every day and how do we not do everything because we're staring up the mountain and doing everything will put you out of business we know this it will put you out of business if we try could do everything and so that is why it is just vital that you guys focus on the things that only you khun dio the authentic market of your business and the shooting the things that are profit producing for you and your business and you have to either trust specialists trust systems or trust software to help you out with all the other things and that was what aaron younger and went through so eloquently for us today the branded the semi branded and the unbranded rules how to get vision and clarity in your business about the areas you need to be spending your time and the areas you khun trust experts and to help you and look at software to help you and that's how we came up with this final idea of attract nurture and profit attracting your target market nurturing them along through love and giving and profiting as a result of it I wouldn't have moved on from photographing full time into shoot that if I didn't believe so strongly that this message had to be shared I believe so strongly that this is what I get up out of bed every morning to do is to help photographers out in growing their business my way of doing it is by providing a solution for photographers to remove the pain of post production but I understand that there's a greater value in what we're doing we're not just helping photographers get their life back from editing were not just helping their photographer streamline their post production were helping photographers have a better business and therefore have a better life and that's what I could do but here's the thing you guys you guys each have a role to play in other people's lives just like I have a role to play and photographers lives right now you have a role to play in your clients lives you have a role to play and you have a difference that you need to make you have something in the style and the vision that you bring to the table you have a story to tell and you've an impact to make on these clients and you have to make sure that you were in business next year so that you can tell that story you have to make sure you set your business up so you don't burn out you have to be profitable so that you can continue to have the impact that you were putting this earth tohave you have to set your business up to be successful so that you can continue to give to fulfill toe love and to nurture not only your clients but yourself and what you were put on this earth to do and I fully believe that his artist we need to understand that we have a role to play I want to encourage you guys to look at these things we've talked about not just as a method to make your client's happier but is a method to continue to sustain exactly what it is that you have a passion for doing and that is really the underpinnings of every single thing that we're talking about here do what you love so you never have to work another day of your life said a business up that allows you to do what you love and stop trying to do everything so that you can go back to attracting the clients that air your target market the clients that you love go back to doing things to love on them give give give and therefore find systems trust specialist plugs software in and create a mechanism to be profitable so you can still do this year in and year out all right I think we're about ready are there any final questions before we take off you know I think the final one that we should probably end on is kind of similar to the one that I ended with aaron on which is basically where do they start hello sixty is saying starting on each and every social media platform seems overwhelming what do you recommend starting with and then at others later once I get start doing one or two really well but I take spend that beyond social media platforms what are the big just what's the most value where do you see people starting on this whole process before you can do anything on the marketing side of things you need to know who you're talking to you must hammer out your target market is it's the most essential before you can start talking to the target market and we saw how simple things got so identifying an understanding your target market is probably the most valuable thing you could do right away I'd say a very close second to that is focusing on the systems you need to be able to execute all the marketing tasks and so before you start marketing before you start going home and get inspired to go on social media before you go into blogging rampage before you create guys and email them out to all your customers set up a system because there's danger in doing it without a system we've actually seen the danger there's danger and not doing it and there's a danger in doing it so the second thing and a very close second to identify your target market is setting up the system the software the system the specialists they're going to come in and make it so that you can focus on these things so you can do that over and over and over again I think with that I would just love to hear we're a little bit short so I just love to hear any final thoughts that you have has really I really enjoyed being here with you guys this week and I really want encourage you guys just stay focused and don't get overwhelmed by the tasks that you have ahead of you find a way to cut through all the din and focus on the things that are going to be prophet producing for you and the on ly you khun do tow authentically market your business it's really about that nowadays this is not business ten fifteen twenty years ago the market has changed it's about loving your customer it's all about loving your customer if you can get up out of bed in the morning and spend your time loving your customer instead of spending time on other non essential things in your business you're going to see the fruits of all your labor

Love love love creative live! I have since passed on this fantastic learning environment to my friends! At this stage it's true I'm not a big purchaser not income flush just yet! But want to give feed back on 'content marketing for photographers and the presenter! Actually he's ok good sound information, clearly knows his stuff however my friends and I ditched it because this phrase 'loved on' which he seems to use A LOT! is very creepy, in fact it pretty much grabs our attention so much we keep missing what he's saying, the other one ' lean in' these seem so juvenile teenager like and especially the loved on.... Seriously sounds like a crude sex act! Put us off from buying the content! Shame because we need his help.

Wow - such a great class! I have heard Jared speak before (mostly on pricing), and I have to say, he really knows his Marketing! Absolutely loved the structure of the 3 days, and after each segment, I felt like I had so many actionable items to take and apply to my business. From social media tactics to solving clients' problems through guides to proper blogging strategies, there are so many new ways that I have learned to use content marketing to strengthen my business this year. Jared also found a way to take topics that are not as interesting, such as creating effective emails, and make it engaging for the entire segment! Such a talented speaker. Personally, I think it's great that Jared has small catch phrases such as "lean in" and "love on clients" - it makes him unique! Not only that, but his strategies WORK, so he can phrase ideas as he wants! :) This is definitely a course worth watching, regardless if you have been shooting for years or are just starting out!

Since watching this course I have told not only my photographer friends about it, but many of my other friends who run their own businesses/organizations. This course can transfer to anyone who wants to learn from the best in marketing. All of the presenters were amazing and this course was WELL worth the money and then some.
