Getting Testimonials
Testimonials are very important to helping grow your photography business as well as show who you are as not only a photographer but a human being as well. The best practiced photographers will hit up their couples after the fact or after they've sent them the photos and just ask for a testimonial. Now that can come in any different version, they can send you an email that's quoted that you can use on your website or they can even take a video of themselves that you can use to post on a website or on social media. I've recently seen a wedding photographer ask his couples to take videos of themselves and then they send them to the photographer and he has created reels where he's been able to edit in his photos with their testimonial in the background. And that has been really fun to see because you actually see them lighting up as well as seeing his photos at the same time. Such a good way to free advertise on social media. People like to hear other people's ratings of who you are and what you're capable of doing and chances are they're gonna be great. Most couples would love to help wedding photographers out because they tend to usually like all their photos. Testimonials are a great way to show who you are as a photographer, who you are as a person and how your relationship worked out with those couples. Just seeing the testimonials from the couples is great for another person who's thinking about hiring you as their photographer.
